We have been wanting to try this place for a while. We tried another donut place this morning, and it was not good. My craving for donuts was still in full effect. I remembered seeing mini donuts on a post for The Scoop on Main. We made the drive out, and I am glad we did. The mini donuts are made fresh when you order, and I asked the owner to hook them up, and he did. I hopped in my jeep, excited to try these, and they did not disappoint. So good! We also tried their chili- if you like spicy, this is a must-try! It's a cute place in an old service station. We will definitely be back for some more treats. Side note- The owner was kind and patient, explaining things to us, providing us with the history of the building, and answering our many questions. I appreciated the kindness and excellent customer service.

Found the perfect ice cream spot! It's a new business that's going to gain popularity quickly; so go now before they have a line down the block! Cute little store with indoor and outdoor seating. They have the best ice cream flavors and toppings, plus other goodies like cookies and an assortment of drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. SUPER clean! Prices are very reasonable, much better than other ice cream places. I'd make the drive over here for ice cream any day of the week. It's amazing!

Stopped here on our way home to enjoy some ice cream in the sunshine, outside, in the middle of October and it did not disappoint!! The ladies who served us were super friendly, the establishment super cute, the treats (Maui Waui and Bubblegum ice cream with Fruity Pebble mini donuts) were heavenly and all the other patrons were friendly, fun and chatty. But most importantly... it was dog friendly and Nacho approved.

Just what the area needed! A down to earth, cozy cool spot for all ages to enjoy a good ol' ice cream treat. Not many places carry black licorice so I was thrilled to hear these guys had it. They were out when my husband and I stopped by, but I tried the Kona and he tried the mint chocolate. They have a mist patio and indoor seating, along with games to play while you're there. They offer more than just ice cream - that's just what brought us in. Cute for a date or family outing. Support these guys, you won't be disappointed.

    It does :)

What a gem! I love this adorable ice cream shop. Ice cream was amazing. I don't have pics, we ate it so quick. Yum!! What's super cool is the vibe they create. Old school toys from the 80s and 90s... I haven't seen some of those toys in forever. They are super friendly, the shop is clean and modern. Lots of seating as there are picnic tables in the grassy yard, even corn hole and yard connect four. Perfect for kiddos that spill ice cream. There's a nice seating area inside and tables along the front of the shop. There's is very nice selection of adult beverages & wine too. Affordability priced. They have Red Bull spritzers, donuts, floats, milkshakes and on & on. I can't wait to come back. I need another yo-yo! Hubby stole mine. And a hot dog. Or popcorn. Or everything lol. I wanted pics of the ice creams and all the topping but I didn't want to hold folks up.

Cute spot in Buckley to get ice cream. They have multiple flavors. Prices are reasonable. They do have non dairy options too.

The steady menu is always very consistent quality. The service is great, like you must be friendly to work there. The ambiance is drive-in with a slight touch of diner. The burgers remind me of a hybrid between Great State and Dick's Burgers. The shakes are uh-maz-ingggg. They also serve Dole whip, Whizzers (Blizzards), Sundaes, floats, and cones (including swirl! McDonald's doesnt even do that anymore). They also have fish, they make their own homemade chowder (yet to try), sandwiches, etc. My kids learned to like white fish by trying the fish here. Not my liking, but they enjoy it quite a bit. All the sides and extras are excellent. I wish the Mac and cheese bites were less zesty and more salty, but I'm a dreamer. Wally's has sold or is selling ownership, so I hope they remain the same general quality and taste they've had since I first started going here. Until quality, service, or something showstopping changes we'll continue to enjoy our meals there. Definitely recommend eating at Wally's.

Very classic American diner meets country farmer's market vibes. The menu was huge, with every flavor of soda imaginable. There were also options to add alcohol. The barista was very friendly, although she did seem a little peeved by my having no idea how to order. I explained that I'd never been to a soda shop before. I'd actually been expecting something more like a gift shop full of bottles of soda, versus an actual soda and drink bar. I asked her if she could just do like a cream soda. She said I could pick any flavor, and then she could add cream or not. In retrospect, I wanted vanilla. But, I also wanted to try something a little different, so I ordered almond. If I could do it over, I think I would do half and half, but sugar free. The flavor was good, but the sweetness was overpowering, and left me feeling even more thirsty. It was about six dollars for a sixteen ounce, which does seem kinda high for that amount of ice, syrup, carbonated water, and cream. However, I also felt really bad for the girl, as she mentioned that business had tanked since the closure of the Fairfax and Enumclaw bridges. Anyway, the soda was tasty, and I would definitely recommend stopping by if soda bars are your thing.

We got 3 pizzas (pepperoni, mushroom, and soppressata), beer and a lemmy for the kid. We found seats in a booth, and I took my kid to the thrift area while we waited. Before we could finish a story, our pizzas were ready. They were so good! Kid loved her pepperoni pizza and extra mushrooms. I loved them all, my husband and I enjoyed the spicy soppressata and mushroom pizzas. Worth the drive and fun to finally visit (we went for a walk on the foothills trail a short drive away). Great service, we also got a vanilla pistachio ice cream (so good!) and incline cider. I'm not sure if we'll make it this way regularly from Tacoma, it's just a bit of a drive... but we found ourselves making excuses to come back to the area (hikes! Park! Bike rides!) so we could come back for pizza again. Loved the space. Very kid friendly with coloring sheets and crayons. Lots of kids with lemmy (sparkling lemonade bottles).
