I wasnt happy with the size and spacing between the ficus privacy tree But Ruben wanted me to be happy so they came back and planted another set of 10 to make it more full and did not charge for that. Ruben was quick to respond to my inquiry and gave me a great price for the work. Due to my circumstances, Ruben was willing to work on the weekend to get my project done in two days. The guy from this company is totally nothing more a fraud! I google landscaping design, this company popped up. I don't know why google and yelp let this company there! The guy name: Ruben Concepcion came to my place for the estimate on 5/3/2019, we signed the contract started from 5/5/2019 to 5/12/2019 (attached in photo) and paid a first check of $1000 for down payment under the name of Ruben Concepcion. He promised his workers will come to work in the morning at 8AM on 5/5/2019. But on 5/5/2019 no one shown up until 2PM them 2 guys showed up and worked less than 1 hour. No calls, no answers when I called. At night, he finally called me said they had emergency at other place he is working, and he apologized and said will not happen again, I trusted him and let him keep doing the project for me. On 5/6/2019 he asked for money to buy materials, I wrote a check of $4250, after he got the money, no call no answer for a few days; On 5/10/ he asked again for money to buy materials, I wrote another check of $3500, On 5/13/2019 he talked with me about putting turf for additional $3000, and he ask money to buy materials again, I wrote another check of $2500, on this day he finished the concrete (attached photos) this is the last thing he had done. After he got the check on 5/13/2019, this guy Ruben Concepcion never showed up, I called him, he never answered and then the phone was turned off. I went to the bank to check if he cashes my checks, found out he already cashed them and 1 check was cashed in Las Vegas! As today of 5/30/2019, my back yard still only 1/3 done! I post this here to remind all the people to beware of this company and this guy Ruben Concepcion! When he asked for the job and money, he always said he is a good guy with good heart! Had small leak in my front yard's water main which then became a big leak over time. Thanks to Daniel Middlestetter, he was able to patch/ repair my water main with ease! He able to fix my problem within the same day and was quick, efficient, and kind about it too! The person behind all this plagiarism is Ruben Concepcion. He preys on innocent victims and after he's squeezed money out of you then he ditches the project and moves on. He has opened numerous yelp accounts with different names and multiple fake licenses. This guy has the nerve to swindle money out of me then produces photos of my finished work which was completed by Rafaels landscaping. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Our project started 7/15/19 and stopped on 08/04/19. I've discovered other yelp pages, going back to 1yr and as recent as less than 1 month. A week ago a vendor came looking for him and warned us not to give him $. He said Juan paid him with a check for $3000 and the check bounced. We already had gave him $15,650. I will say he finished the retainer wall, cement layout, and fire pit. His workers did a good job with that. He even put cement on the side of our house willingly at no charge because "he has a good heart" at the expense of not completing things we did actually pay for on the contract . I guess it could have been a lot worse like some of the other reviews. This is our story: My doubt began when when I saw Maria R. review. I really never had peace of mind for this project. My husband had already met Juan before the review once and instantly my husband liked his personality. "Talks/sounds very humble" Maybe how he PREYS on people. Then when I came across the review I spoke with my husband because we were already in the process of pulling a loan against our home (understandably we are trying to be cautious), just waiting to get the money. Not sure the convo between my husband and Juan about the review but Juan was aware we new about it. I think at this point it was already hurting his business. He was quick to give out Christians name, address and p# and told my husband to take a drive to check his work out. My husband did. He liked what he saw. Juan expressed how he was a "good guy" with a "good heart", he has a family, he "PRAYS" because Maria's review was hurting him but he was going to push forward. My husband felt so bad for him so we decided to give him a chance. My husband was excited but I was not. I did not have peace of mind almost through the whole project because more reviews started to be posted and I became obsessed with finding something on him, maybe just my gut feeling. I did find stuff but not as much as I have now. I was so uneasy, my husband told me to talk to him and I did. I was straight forward with him and told him my husband is the provider for our kids and I. I explained we don't have money laying around and we had to pull a loan out. He expressed "he's a provider for his kids too and if he wanted to leave with the money he would have already done so but he's not like that" he said. Well I really did pray and I honest to God think that's why he didn't take so much from us like he said he could have if he wanted too. That being said, nobody came back(Miguel who I think is his brother in law was supposed to come back ) to finish the electrical we paid $650 for. Juan agreed to come back and replace the split face caps on the wall, because he ordered the wrong ones, but didn't. They broke a drain in our front yard and it was exposed so we couldn't water it, causing the grass to dry. He agreed to replace the sod because of that but that didn't happen either. I hired RG Landscape to check my current irrigation system in the front and back yard consisting of more than 50 sprinkler heads. The price was good and came with a one year warranty. However, within a month some of the sprinklers stopped working and I have called and texted several times to get someone out to fix them per the warranty, but they won't schedule a return visit or return my text messages. I wouldnt recommend these guys as my sprinklers stopped working within a month of service and they don't seem to honor the warranty. read more

We called for an estimate and Ruben gave us a call within an hour. He was able to come out the next day and gave us a quote. After we told him what we wanted he gave us some helpful suggestions of things we could do. These were all great suggestions, and we liked them all. He got back to us with a quote very quickly. Ruben said he had an opening the next day and it would only take two days to complete. It was a complete redo of the front yard. We had gravel in the front yard and needed it removed and replaced with Gorilla hair mulch. They removed four cactus and planted two new plants. Added river rock to help drainage on one side. They also completed a few other items on our list. The total of the quote was less than I expected by a few hundred dollars. The next day Ruben and and his experienced crew were there and removed everything and prepared for the new items the next day. They have the equipment to do quick and professional work. The following day everything was done and looks great. We went from one of the worse yards to the best yard. Ruben and his team are skilled and able to do all we asked.They did a great job cleaning up. I would recommend Dreamscapes to anyone needing landscape done. read more

BEWARE! All Pro Landscaping's agreement stated they would complete my front yard landscape in 6 weeks and provide a 1 year guarantee on all labor and materials - this was in January 2021. Nine months later, they have not finished. Multiple times I have scheduled with them to come fix some outstanding issues. But they do not show up for the appointment, then say that nobody was home, even though we have had 4 people in the house for the past 2 years due to Covid. Or they come and do some work, but never fix the specific issues I still have: #1 The sprinkler system has an error code due to the new valves they installed and we are hand watering all of the plants. Some have died, most of which they replaced. But they never fixed the error on the sprinkler so we continue to hand water, and now there are more dead plants. #2 There are visible seam lines in the artificial turf which they say they can fix, but have not done so. This was very expensive but the quality of the installation is sub-par. #3 Even a simple request to email or text a copy of the form with my neighbors approval is ignored. #4 I reported them to the Better Business Bureau over 2 weeks ago and they have not bothered to respond. I cooperated with them by accepting trees that were not exactly what I requested, I also accelerated payments to show my trust & support for a small business. However, now I DO NOT recommend that you trust this service. They seem really nice and professional until you have paid them. read more

We hire Juan Ruben to do 2 jobs (started June 24th and scam ended on August 6th), for us because he had the best price out of the 3 other bids we got but his communications and quality of work after the 1st day on the job reflected you get what you pay for. I wish I would of saw all the negative reviews for him prior to hiring him. Like others that have posted this guy is a scammer. We paid him for our projects in 4 payments and he skipped out on the last day without finishing the job. He completed our front yard landscaping job but the concrete job was a nightmare. The checks he gave the concrete company did have enough funds and they are now coming after us to put a lean on our house after we already paid him for the job. He didn't pay the concrete finishers he hired the last day we saw him and they are trying to get paid still also. He was back and forth showing up to our house just like the other posts here. His phone was also convenient disconnected the last day we saw him right after we paid him and is still disconnected. He also scammed our nieghbor a few streets away from us and the same issues we had they had also. We filed a police report and are going to try and take him to small claims court. We are also going to file a report with the contractor better business bureau. But we are still going to have to pay more money out of our pockets to complete all these reports and claims. The landscaping in the front was good but he still hasn't finished our concrete job and we have paid him 70% of the total cost.
