It had a lot of sentimental value to her as she spent many hours with her grandmother as a child. I was able to find another piece of granite to put on the legs but she never felt it was the same. I had kept the 2 pieces after they broke. I recently had an idea to have the original marble cut into 6 smaller 6" x 6" squares so she could put them under a lamp, flower pot or outside someplace. I am going to surprise her with them on her 75th birthday this month. I contacted Granite Solutions in Webster Florida. They were very pleasant and understanding on the phone and promised to get back to me soon. They did so in about a half hour. Although I was originally not going to have it 'finished' they explained the difference to me and how much better it would look so I agreed to have them do the extra steps. Originally I had said I wanted 4 pieces but after hanging up I re-measured it and realized I could get 6 pieces out of the broken stone. They had given me a price and when I explained I could get 2 more pieces out of it they said there would be no extra charge. I felt the price was very reasonable, they were pleasant to deal with and did what I had asked for quickly. I would strongly recommend this company and if I get my countertops replaced they will be my first call.

They attempted to charge for 1109 sf when the space only measures (by their measurements) 1003 sf. I explained that he can not charge me an install price of the total amount of tile purchase, he can only charge me for the tile ACTUALLY installed. They are overcharging EVERY customer by the 10% overage that they purchase. It's a SCAM. They apparently do it with carpet as well. People only pay for what's installed not for what's purchased! SCAMMING THE ELDERLY.

We hired Dreamstone for our counters and vanity. They were recommended to us by a friend who has worked with them on various projects. Our deadline was kind of tight being that we wanted our counters done before Thanksgiving and the first 2 places that we called weren't able to get the templating done until after the holiday- we called Dreamstone and despite our 'tall order' they were able to come out, get the measurements and discuss what we had in mind. Everything ran smoothly and our counters were fabricated and installed within 3 days which was great for us and our deadline. We appreciated their professionalism, communication and transparency...and the installation was gorgeous! Satisfied is an understatement. They did tell us upfront that they don't have a showroom just yet, however they work with multiple suppliers & I'll add that it wasn't an issue for us. They went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted And while I know pricing is different depending on the size of the counters, we were very satisfied with our price! 10/10 highly recommend!
