The manicurist was great but the polish they use is total garbage. 14 hours later, one nail cracked and 3 chipped. I expect a regular manicure to last at least 24 hours. My hands were not soaking in water. Sometimes convenience just isn't worth the cost. Management said that's why you get the no chip. read more

Susan is my nail tech, and I love that she's a perfectionist... my nails always come out great and I love that she checks in with me through out the appointment to make sure I'm liking the shape/color/etc. She's also quick and efficient, so I've never had to worry about having to wait too long for my appointments. I've tried no-chip pedicures, no-chip manicures, and recently switched to dip manicures, and I've been happy with the results. Prices are competitive with other nail salons in the area. While I'm not a huge fan of their more elaborate nail art skills, for a basic color or a simple French manicure, this place is a good fit. Highly recommend Susan! read more

Came here with a friend and we both had horrible experiences. Both of the nail techs are not professionals as in they don't know how to do their job. The filing and painting were horrible quality it was like she never painted a nail before in her life. She missed the sides and tops of my nails and left my fingers the color of the nail polish she took off ( I had to bring it up to her and clean it off myself). I even had to tell her to paint the sides and get closer to my cuticle. She still didn't know what to do. Same happened to my friend but even worse. Save your money and go somewhere else. My daughter and I came here as new customers because of the fabulous Yelp reviews. We both got regular mani/ pedis. Mine was fine. Her manicure began chipping the next day. Three days later her nails looked worse than prior to getting the manicure. I've never seen such a terrible manicure. When I do my own manicures they look better than that. When I called to complain , instead of apologizing or trying to make it right the manager told me that's normal because we didn't get the No Chip . Terrible customer service and terrible quality! They charged $40 for manicure/pedicure (& we gave a generous tip) for my 12yr old that did not even last 24hr. I made sure she waited until nails were thoroughly dry before any activity and some of the polish rubbed & chipped off later that evening. Called the next morning and spoke to manager-Kyson and he didn't even try to make things right/refused any sort of refund and told me that this is normal for regular nail polish. This place was amazing. I didn't know that I needed to book an something, but I asked if they could possibly fit me in sometime that day. I was so happy when they were able to squeeze me in. Before she even started, I was asked the length and shape I'd want. It made everything else go so much faster... in my opinion anyway. I was a little nervous about going here after reading some of the reviews but I had such a great experience, I feel like I have to write a review. I made an appointment for 615. Got here a bit early and they took me right away. The place is super clean and the polish choices were basically endless. SO many colors. The man who did my nails did an amazing job and it was very reasonably priced. It was super quick as well. I got a full set and gel polish and it took maybe 40 minutes. I got so many compliments on my nails already. Also they gave me a little box at the end that had lotion in it! I think maybe as a holiday gift, which was super sweet. Everyone was very friendly. Avoid this place! I mean an establishment that specializes in Nails should be able to do the most basic of services no?I stopped in as a male looking to get a mani pedi because an accident has left me disabled and unable to functionally use my left hand so I need to get my nails cut by a "professional" after being in the salon for an absurd amount of time! I called around 6:00 to see if they would take me. I understood they closed at 7:30 and I would've been fine with a "no" as I understand everyone wants to get home to their families. But.. they said yes and I came in. I asked for full set of acrylic or gel. She initially told me $47 on the phone. I come in, she doesn't even prep my nails just goes straight to gluing on the tips. She's rushing, AFTER she has them glued on she tells me its going to be $65. Since she already had them glued on I had no other option but to say ok. I came here for my first time Saturday for a no chip fill in and within the same day one of my nails popped off simply from opening my car door came back on Monday and got it fixed just for Tuesday another nail to just pop off from me scratching my hand. My review is in regards to their artificial nail services. For about a year and a half I have been getting gel overlays and I get my nails filled every 2-3 weeks. I try to stick with the same 1-2 salons, but I also end up in different parts of Chicagoland due to work, friends, and other reasons. I visited Pink Nails because I was volunteering nearby and saw many positive Yelp reviews. I made an appointment a few days before I came in since most nail salons are pretty full on Saturdays. I hadn't received a new set in a few months, and explained that I would probably need a new set since I seemed to be experiencing separation between the product and my natural nail on 2 nails. I came in for my appointment and explained this again to the nail tech. She said my nails looked fine, but would possibly do a new set on the nails that were separating. She pulled out this tool, and proceeded to jam it between my real nail and the gel in order to remove the gel. She was only able to get a little more than half the gel off the one nail because of how uncomfortable it was for me. I asked about whether soaking them in nail remover was an option, and she said, "no, because that would take too long". Only myself and 1 other customer was there, and no customers were waiting. I fail to see what the rush was, especially when my original appointment was for a removal/new set, but I guess I'll never know. She continued my appointment by doing a fill in on the rest of my nails, and putting on the no chip color I choose. Between one of the coats I hit one finger on the uv lamp, so she had to try to fix that one. That one was not perfectly smooth even with her fixing it, which was understandable. Unfortunately, after I left I noticed that 5-6 fingers between both my hands were on the lumpy side. Ms. Speedy obviously rushed through the nail painting process as well. This salon appears very clean and roomy, but I feel the quality of work/nail techniques are questionable. read more

I really like this place. I NEVER wanted to go in here I assumed it would be like those mall nail shops. It so close to my house and where I grocery shop so I decided what the heck. I LOVED IT. First off they are very nice and all smiles and happy greetings. It's VERY clean inside and neat tables are cleared off and sink areas are very clean. I'm not sure who did my nails but I love them.
