Garlic bacon cheddar fries , loaded French dip and jersey shore

The atmosphere is really relaxed playing GREAT reggae music. Our server Alisha U was great and knew what to recommend. We ordered garlic cheddar fries for appetizer the garlic is actually cooked not like most in Elko . The French dip was amazing flavor meat was tender , veggies cooked to perfection . The jersey shore was meh not too much flavor . They serve liquor

Visiting family in Elko we HAD to try Dreez after perusing the menu and seeing pictures of the yummyyy offerings. We popped in for breakfast and were immediately greeted by the staff and quickly our table was ready. Menu is extensive with SO manyyy options to choose from that we decided to share a few things andd get our own too. The MUST dish for me that morning was the Surf & Turf Benedict w/2 poached eggs, steak, shrimp, house made chipotle hollandaise sauce and the side dish to compliment this already yummy dish chile' infused hash browns - absolutely deLISH!! For my hubby & FIL they shared the Biscuit & Gravy Meal w/baked biscuits smothered in gravy served with 2 over-medium eggs plus the chile' infused hash browns - yummyyy!! We all three shared the green colored Pistachio flavored waffle with powdered sugar and pistachio pieces - this was TO DIE FOR, especially if you have a hankering for something sweet and uniquely different and yummilicious. Overall GREAT service, cute inviting inside with an open floor that has a bar to greet you as you step inside along with friendly staff. Definitely a MUST for a yummyyy breakfast whether you are in Elko or passing through.

We were in town for a wedding and our friend who is from Elko suggested 3 spots for brunch, Dreez being one of them. After looking through the menus for all 3 places, my husband picked Dreez because he was intrigued by the green chile infused hashbrowns. I'm so glad he picked Dreez because we had a great experience! We came in on a Saturday around 12pm and were seated right away without a wait. They have a big breakfast menu that is served all day, there's something for everyone. My husband got the country fried steak meal and I went with the benny blackstone. He loved his country fried steak, you could tell it was hand breaded and the gravy was really flavorful. The benedict was very tasty and was made with regular bacon instead of canadian bacon, then covered in their delicious chipotle hollandaise sauce! Our favorite part of the meal was the chile infused hashbrowns. If you come here and get any other side, shame on you! You're really missing out. Not only do they have a kick to them, they are also quite cheesy. They were amazing, I easily could've had a whole plate of just these hashbrowns! There were a lot of other unique items on the menu that I would've loved to try like their pistachio waffles, strawberry crepes, and churro french toast. Our food came out within 15mins of ordering. Service was good, the waitress checked on us a few times despite having a busy lunch crowd. This was the perfect brunch spot, we enjoyed having a great meal and then taking a stroll of downtown afterwards to look at some of the art murals. We will come back next time we are back in Elko!

Cute cafe style restaurant. Very crowded. Must be popular with the locals. Got seated quickly at the bar top. Server was nice and quick. Ordered the Benny and hash browns + a mimosa. The mimosa was much more OJ than champagne, hate that. The Benny was very good. Liked the touch of diced tomatoes. Not a traditional hollandaise sauce, but really good. The hash browns tasted like they were made from dried potatoes, didn't love them.

BREAKFAST at Dreez! What a great start to the day with a Greek Goddess omelette for moi and biscuits and gravy and a bowl of Mexican fruit salad for the daughter! The service was fantastic from the hostess to our server and the food was delicious and satisfying! It was enough fuel to get me up the hike in Lamoille and maybe too much for the daughter who back pedaled and took a nap while I finished out the hike!! WTH?! Go, eat and live your best life! ~Your LV friend and foodie :)

Dreez is 100% worth stopping at for breakfast or lunch if you are driving through Elko. Service was fast and friendly. Our food was delicious, and there were lots of choices. They do a great job advertising their items on instagram, and my caesar chicken wrap with sweet potato waffle fries looked exactly like the photo they posted. I had a huckleburry mule to drink, and it was scrumptious. Especially if you're driving on 80 to or from Salt Lake City, your weary bones will appreciate a 45 minute rest at Dreez.

I can see why the reviews are so favorable. Our group stopped here for breakfast . The inside was shabby chic and so clean. I had to try one of the amazing Eggs Benedict offerings - the complete menu was unique and inquiring minds would enjoy trying all the curated dishes. I opted for the Half and Half : One Egg Benedict One sausage biscuit with gravy A M A Z I N G !!! The iced tea was so much better then most unsweetened iced tea and boy do they give you a nice size drink . The patio outside looks nice and inviting. This is definitely a must to try in Elko !

My first time here and walking in the ambiance was super chill and the workers greeted us and were super kind! BUT the minute we are seated and the waitress takes our order she's super rude. I understand the food service industry gets a lot of hate but she fr just had a nasty attitude. I'm eager to eat let's see if the food is better than the service. Tried the food.... Not good. I'm a fluffy pancake gal and they're not fluffy they taste like cake batter and I didn't know that when I'd ask for strawberries on my pancakes I'd be getting strawberry jam so that's just my preference of not liking jam/jelly. Also found a hair in my eggs

I heard the food was pretty good here and a decent deal. I go in with one co worker whose driving me around Elko. It's not really too smokey in here, so that's a good thing, but it's not a crowded Saturday night either with all kinds of drinking and smoking at the slots going on. We get seated at a nice table and I go over the menu. They have a prime rib special here for $17.99 and it's available everyday from 11 am! Most of these casino restaurants that have prime rib, only have that on Fri and Sat after like 4 pm. I passed this time, but what I did see was the Chicken Fried Steak! It's supposed to be a 10 oz. beef patty, breaded and deep fried served with country gravy, hashbrowns and toast, and then even THREE eggs, for just $13, that's a deal. In the Bay Area where I was just working, they don't even serve Chicken Fried Steak ..... it's like truck driver food I guess. My friend had this Cali Omelet ... yeah it was sort of breakfast time for us. That was the more healthy option with veggies and no meat, just the opposite of what I ordered! The food came out in short time and look fab! I ordered my Chicken Fried Steak on a separate plat with gravy on the side, so I didn't get gravy all mushed up with my eggs and potatoes. Holy moly, that was a lot of food! Super tasty, I just ate half and took the rest to go, gave it to my friend since I flying back out soon and I don't think the airline would appreciate me bring Chicken fried steak on the plane to eat! The omelet looked better than I thought it was gonna for the price. Tons of avocado on top and fluffy hashbrowns! 5 stars for the food here!

Once seated, our experience was a mix of highs and "almosts." - Appetizer: We started with the fried pickles -- crisp, flavorful, and addictive -- though a seasoned dipping sauce would have taken them to the next level. - Entrées: Antonio ordered the prime rib, advertised at 12 oz, but it appeared a bit smaller than expected. Portion sizes for his sides, however, were generous and satisfying. I went with the penne alla vodka but received penne with marinara instead. While the garlic bread was decent, I missed the creamy, robust vodka sauce that was promised. - Service: A little on the slow side, though staff were polite once they arrived at the table. Overall, the food was decent, but not quite on target. We're planning to give them another try for breakfast -- here's hoping that meal hits closer to the mark.

Cabbage soup broth was delicious. Italian bread would be better if warmed, but still good. The salad was robustly tossed and the dressing had a nice touch of garlic. The steak sandwich was tender and had an excellent marinade/flavor. Fries: very greasy and not their finest moment. The bartender was friendly and prompt with service. There appeared to be many locals there. We were seated promptly for dinner. It took a bit for our server to arrive to our table, but once there she was friendly and informative. We started with the spring rolls. They were mushy on the inside. It appeared they were wrapped with dumpling wrappers that were soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. We didn't prefer the texture. Hubby didn't like the sauce served with them but I did. We wouldn't order them again. We chose a spinach salad as the side to our entrees. It was fresh but overdressed. It became soggy very quickly. Hubby had the braised lamb shank special. He said it was fall off the bone tender. There were parts of it on the outside though that were too hard to chew, as if those parts had been outside of the braising liquid too long. The polenta was grainy and undercooked. Polenta should be smooth and silky. The sauce was too salty. I had the Basque Pasta. I asked the waitress if the mussels were fresh and she told me they were frozen. I never should have ordered the dish. The mussels were so dry and fishy tasting I couldn't eat them, and I love mussels. I even bit down on a couple of pieces of broken mussel shells. There was hardly any sauce so the noodles were dry as well. The cheese on top wasn't melted. I barely touched my dish. The servers, including ours, were working very hard and seemed to be providing everyone with great service. I'm giving 3 stars because of the food. I know it's a local fave, but we won't be back.
