The complimentary teas were so great, including a detox option. The massage specialists were top notch professionals, I can't remember the last time I'd gotten a massage that effective. I definitely left the sauna feeling the epitome of relaxed!

You walk into a reception area lit brighter than a cafeteria. Nothing says relaxation like feeling like you're about to take an exam. For a $220 massage, your pre-service options are the hammam or sauna, which is very limited for the price. No steam room or jacuzzi. The robes are very comfortable, and the locker room is nice. Just be prepared to parade past a full gym in your robe on your way to unwind. I booked the Flow massage, which is supposed to be medium pressure. Instead, it felt like I was being buffed like a Camry rather than actually massaged. It came across more freestyle than intentional. I thought maybe it was just me, but both of my sisters had the exact same experience. Then comes the automatic gratuity, bringing the total to $260 for a massage that didn't deliver. If you're going to raise prices, the experience has to rise with it. This was a disappointment.

The Forum Athletic Club - Clear warning sign in the gym but staff doesn't care about health warnings

Serious Safety & Liability Concerns - This Gym Puts Members at Risk…read more This gym is playing fast and loose with member safety, and it needs to be called out. The sauna has a clearly posted warning sign stating a maximum safe temperature of 185°F. Despite this, staff and management insist on running it at 200°F, knowingly exceeding their own posted safety limits. That alone is reckless and a massive liability issue. What made this worse: I entered the sauna first at a safe temperature. Another gym member then came in and turned the temperature up to 197°F, completely ignoring the warning sign. When I pointed out the posted safety limit, this individual became aggressive, threatened me, harassed me, and disturbed my peace while I was simply trying to protect my health. No member should feel unsafe--physically or verbally--while using a wellness facility. Management's response? Dismissive and unconcerned. Instead of addressing: * the unsafe temperature settings * the violation of posted safety guidelines * the harassment and threatening behavior by another member ...the manager failed to take the situation seriously at all. This gym is exposing itself to serious liability by: * Ignoring its own safety warnings * Allowing saunas to operate at dangerous temperatures * Failing to intervene when a member is threatened Saunas are supposed to support health--not endanger it. Until management starts prioritizing member safety, accountability, and basic respect, I strongly do not recommend this gym. Consider this a warning.

First thing first, it is great that they offer validation for the Metropolis parking deck. Really helps make it easy to come to class! Second, the desk staff make a an effort to get to know your name which amazing. Third, all of the coaches are phenomenal! Kate, Kasey, Parker and Adrienne are so personal favorites of mine and they are stellar coaches. You really can't go wrong! Definitely cannot recommend this place more than I already do. Give orangetheory a try if you have been on the fence and this is a great location to do it at! I went as a visitor for the first time 2 years ago and it was great then and still is.

I think OTF is a great place to workout. I prefer having a coach that can keep me motivated and on…read moretask. If you don't like a coach telling you what exercises to do and cheering you on this is not a work out for you. OTF Is primarily cardio-based as more than half of the workout is in the treadmill and rower. With a third of the class on a treadmill and third of the class on a rower you're really pushing your aerobic fitness and caloric burn. The floor exercise is the last third of the class. In my opinion they can improve their floor exercises and work out as there isn't much time to build muscle but rather to burn fat. There are quite a few locations around Atlanta as OTF has become a very popular workout franchise. This specific location in Midtown has a parking deck for free parking. The classes at this location are almost always full. The coaches and staff are nice just like most locations. They have a bathroom for both sexes and two showers for you to use if you want to go before work. They have a wide range of class times so you can work out super early, mid day or late in the evening. Overall OTF is great for trying to lose weight, get in shape and meet new people while burning calories.

Urban Body Fitness - Not kind or encouraging for any member to see. To call out members of the facility is unprofessional. You are running a gym, not a daycare.

I…read morewould say that this gym is on the small to medium size, but it has a ton of machines available. Basically anything that you can think of, they probably have them. Also, the entire gym along with the changing rooms are really clean. They provide face towels both in the changing rooms and in the workout area, which is perfect for those who sweat like me and forgets to bring their own face towel. They also provide either paper towels or clean rags to wipe down the equipment after each use. There are sprays everywhere for the papers towels and rags, of course, but please make sure you spray those directly and not the machines (they have signs for this everywhere as well to make sure that the machine quality is maintained). I've only gone to this gym at around 9am, so I have no idea how packed it gets during the typical hours people go to the gym before or after work, but I can only imagine that it might get cramped due to its size and popularity in the area, so keep that in mind! I still recommend trying this place out!

A spray bottle and towel is required when you visit so that you wipe down each machine after use. It is clean. There are a generous number of squat racks and bench racks. Yes, the LOCAL owner posts signs and writes somewhat passionate emails. So what? He cares about the environment that has been fostered. "Don't be on your phone!!! Casual weekend members are the worst at this" is one from recent memory that totally makes sense. If that hurts your feelings... that's on you LOL. Finally, the bathrooms and showers are very nice. The people who work out here are friendly but also serious about their health and fitness. I have asked other gym goers questions before or to spot me and I have always gotten smiles and "of course!" in response. Finally, the price is reasonable! This is the best gym I have ever been a member of.
