Pavel is AMAZING. Back in July, after having reached out to several other people, Pavel came out for a consultation to do a custom fireplace mantel. He was super informative and communicative and offered us tons of advice and answered all of our questions. We had a difficult project because we didn't know if our updated fireplace had drywall or brick behind the tile. Unfortunately, when we moved in, it had already been updated with no indication of what lay behind it. The mantel only took a couple weeks to complete and during installation, we thought it was drywall but in fact, it was brick. It took a few more days to get the right equipment but Pavel came back AGAIN and did a beautiful job installing the mantel. He also helped us mount our TV (not part of the original deal). I have searched for my dream coffee and end tables for a while online but just could not find the color and style that fits the farm style scheme of my living room, then luckly has it I came across Drevo and saw how beautiful the furniture were hand crafted. After contacting and meeting the owner named Pavel I knew he is the person whom I can trust and very professional to under take the project. Communication was super friendly and easy via either text and messenger, he was very prompt to reply all my questions and concerns(which I had ton) during his busy schedule and treating customer's project like his own and outcome was fantastic. Those real wood tables were finished for exceeded my expectations upon delivery and he drove more than 2.5 hrs during rush hour to deliver the tables and explained in details on how the tree trucks were recycled, cut, dry and treatd during the building process. I was so surprised that the wood he found is over 150 yrs old from Sacramento and I really like the age & durable these two pieces he found. The top and edge of table are light yellow color after polishing, and a bit light brown/red color in the center wood with beautiful green and translucent yellow epoxy to fill the gaps. I also learned that the use of semi-gloss instead high gloss as the top coat to prevent fingerprints and dirt from building up. My wife and I researched extensively for a mantle to be placed between our linear electric fireplace and our Samsung frame TV. We really wanted a walnut stain color and texture and spent many hours looking online. We even had small wooden samples sent to us to ensure the color and texture would be to our liking because pictures online are intrinsically inaccurate. But nothing really matched what we were looking for. We are so happy we decided to look locally and found Paul on Yelp. Instead of a walnut stain, he was able to use real walnut and a natural oil, which looks and feels infinitely better than any stain could have accomplished. The mantle was built to our exact custom specifications and we absolutely love it.
