I brought my 2005 F-250 in for a loss of high oil pressure and was quoted a $600 diagnostic fee. After inspection, they said I had a leaking injector and recommended replacing all injectors to qualify for a warranty -- about $6,200 total after replacing the batteries. After I approved the work, their employee took the truck on a test drive, and it broke down again with another high-pressure oil leak. They then wanted another $4,500 to fix a bypass pipe behind the transmission, bringing my total to over $10,000. Even worse, they refused to take responsibility for the new failure, even though it happened while their employee was driving. If the original problem was pre-existing, their diagnosis was wrong. If it broke during their test drive, they should own it. Instead, they just kept adding charges. This experience felt like a money trap -- each repair led to another expensive problem, with no accountability. I cannot recommend this company for any major repair or diagnostic work. I took a 2011 Chevy Diesel there to diagnose my problem NOT TO GUESS. I sent another mechanic there to pick it up, they told him they never test-drove it or did any diagnostics. They said they knew what the problem was. HOW IS THAT ? They charged me $369 for NOTHING. I guess they needed the money more than I needed my truck fixed LOL read more

I took my truck to Drew's in late August due to an antifreeze leak. A day or two later they sent me a quote to replace the thermostat housing. I called to ask why I was being charged for that since they just replaced that same thing almost exactly one year ago. They said they didn't see that, and agreed to warranty it. I got the truck back a couple days later on a Friday. By Tuesday(holiday weekend, it sat all 3 days), I had to take the truck back in because it was still leaking just as much as it was prior. The next day they sent me a quote to replace a coolant bypass valve, because apparently that's what the leak was really coming from. A few days later, I got a call from them telling me it was actually the water pump that was leaking, and it would need replaced. They had the truck for a week or two to replace the water pump, and when they called to say the truck was done, I asked how much the total cost was, and they told me it was about $1,200, over $200 more than I was originally told. I asked why, and they said it was because my battery had apparently died while it was there, so they replaced it for me. I was never informed of that, nor did I approve it. If they had called, they would've known that the battery was less than a year old, had never had a single issue prior to that, but was under warranty. Upon being told about the battery, I told them I had a warranty and would bring them the replacement to put in, so they could take the one they put in back out and not charge me for it. The next day I went to pick the truck up, and upon getting in the truck, I noticed the plastic water pump cover sitting in my passengers floorboard. I took it back inside and said it looks like they forgot to put this on, and they came back and said, "so our diesel tech isn't here right now, but he said he actually left that off on purpose, just to make sure everything was ok before putting it back on. Just bring it back in a few days and we'll throw it on for you." This was an absolute lie. They flat out forgot to reinstall it and didn't want to admit it. Upon leaving, I also found that my amp for my subwoofer system wasn't working either. It worked perfectly fine when I dropped the truck off. I had to take it to the shop that installed it and have them send it in for repairs that I otherwise wouldn't have had to do if they hadn't had my truck. I took the truck home and continued to drive it for about two weeks. On the last day I drove it, I drove to my ex wife's house to pick up my kids. During that drive there were no issues or signs of overheating or anything. While I was standing next to the truck, I heard a loud hissing sound, followed by a popping sound, then saw a huge flood of liquid come pouring from the bottom of the truck. I got down and checked and found that it was antifreeze. I took the truck back to Drew's the next morning and explained what had happened. I explained that the next day was my sons birthday and I very much needed my truck back for that, and I needed to know what was going on so I could plan accordingly. I never heard anything from them that day. I called them the next day to ask what they had found out, and was told that they were replacing some bad orings that they found, and it should be done that afternoon, or first thing the next day. I had to call them again the next afternoon after not hearing from them, and was told they weren't done yet, but should be in the morning. I then had to call them AGAIN the next afternoon and was told that they finished the gaskets but it was still leaking. I asked why they thought it was leaky orings when I told them what had happened, it was pouring fluid out, not leaking like you might get from a bad gasket. He said they were still trying to figure it out. The next day I finally got a call to say that they think the leak is coming from some sort of return line for my turbo, and they would send me a quote. A few minutes later, I got a quote for over $4,000. I then had my truck towed from their shop. After almost 2 months and already spending over $1,200, now I'm told it needs another $4,000 worth of repairs. All this because I took it to them because of a small antifreeze leak. I regret ever being told that this place exists, and I hope they go bankrupt, just like I'm going to have to do to get out from under the truck I now can't drive. I was out of town when my truck started messing up. I didn't know what to do. I saw Andy post of Facebook about the shop being closed for vacation and he would see everyone when the doors open again. I sent a message telling him what my truck was doing. To my surprise, he replied around 10:00pm that night. Told me what I needed to know, so I could make it back home. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK TO THIS SHOP, I'm sure they'll delete this so I'll make sure I leave it on yelp and other places. Truck caught fire on way home and they were the last ones to work on it, they want to argue that we had to call 911 to have fire department dispatched for smoke in the cab. Then they stole paperwork from highway patrol out of truck and called them to find out that we were telling the truth. We had truck towed back for them to look at as we hadn't paid the bill over 2 hours prior. They refuse to reimburse the tow bill and they say they didn't cause the insulation from fire wall to fall down but they were the last ones to work on it and it wasn't like that when it was given to them. Kyle claims his a volunteer firefighter and that he knows when somethings been on fire, so I guess if the truck had been a total lose, Kyle would believe us but they apparently wouldnt have been responsible or been any more professional then they are being. We paid our almost 2,000 bill and this is ther customer service. They found the neutral safety switch had a piece broke, they shoved the broken piece back in part and shoved it back on truck, Kyle's exact words not mine. Very unprofessional shop and would give them a zero if possible, would not recommend and have started spreading the word. read more

Don't bother putting a negative review on their website because they will delete it like they did mine! I was a customer for over 2 years and here is my negative service story: I called one day after finding this shop online and Andy (Drew) assured me that he can fix my truck. I showed up at the shop right before closing one day a couple years ago. Talked to Andy again about my issues that included contribution balance codes. He said that I needed new head gaskets (another shop had done that job about 6 months prior to my initial visit at Drew's). I admittedly asked about the contribution balance codes and he assured me that the new head gaskets will take care of the codes. He went onto say that the previous shop had done the job incorrectly. That might have been true and is why I was searching for another diesel mechanic. So, they did the head job and the truck seemed to run fine except I was not happy that the contribution balance codes were still showing up. Andy told me its because I have a programmer with a scanner so I see codes that others don't. I wasn't buying that and continued to complain about the codes. All the while I had the truck in for various other repairs. So, fast forward about a year in a half or so, with his move, the shops 2-week holiday break, and my schedule, I finally got the back in to solely address the contribution codes. They now tell me that I need a new set of injectors and the cost will be about $4,000. I of course was very displeased at the misdiagnoses and expected some kind of reasonable discount to do the job. Had the issue been correctly diagnosed the first time, the injectors would have been under warranty thus saving me a couple grand and no real added labor cost! If he would have said: have we will eat half, although that would have sucked, it would show that they would be standing behind their work and misdiagnoses. But NOTHING! No offer whatsoever to help cover their mistakes. They are all about the money and are making plenty of it! It's really too bad that a successful shop like that cannot be more honorable. Good honorable businesses don't make money on every transaction however, they retain customers and gain any loss back by word of mouth and good reviews.
