My fiancé and I had a massage booked on a Saturday, with the massage it comes with all day usage of sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. They also have tea, infused water, and lockers in the men/women separated area. Parking is complimentary for spa users. The massage was amazing and felt relaxing, pressure was perfect. Although it was a bummer that the men's steam room was closed due to service, we still had a relaxing day. Staff is friendly and was checking cleanliness every so often. My experience here was overall great! The front desk staff were AMAZING, that was prob my favorite part. Best parts: The spa itself was very clean and well organized. I loved the aesthetic.. kind of beachy sea shell themed with blues and neutrals. Sauna was hot I loved that. Tons of amenities such as hair dryers and lotions etc. Constructive feedback: The hot tub was pretty small, only for 2 people really but not a deal breaker. The steam room was not hot but it was steamy. I had Virgil for my massage.. he was cool but it was obvious he thought he was really good. He also kept talking to me.. had a lot of one liners about how old he was, how his wife is always right, and fishing for compliments.. I prefer silence when I'm being massaged. He was also doing some weird vibration stuff with his hands while massaging.. like as if he was just making up his own techniques. It was a little awkward... kind of like being massaged by a Brookstone back massager. Even the front desk said he has "quite the following".. I booked a 80 mins body treatment for my wife's birthday sunday since we were staying at the waterfront hotel. Here is a description below of what was offered at $250: huntington healing body scrub and wrap 80 minutes Sea and Earth, seaweed and clay, combine to help to soothe, detoxify, re-mineralize, and nourish. Crafted for total mind and body relaxation, the journey begins with a warm towel ritual to soothe, pamper and relax. Next, a ginger-lime aromatic body polish of sugar cane, noni, sunflower, coconut and pumpkin oils effectively nourishes and sloughs away rough skin. After, a warm French green clay, peppermint and seaweed mask is applied to help detox and purify by stimulating circulation. The treatment is finished off with a warm, nourishing body butter, leaving skin soothed and glowing. Here is what happened: My wife went to the spa at 10am sunday morning and the masseuse was Michelle who was nice but did not do a good job because she just tried to drag out the time focusing on only a few areas. Of all the treatments above she only received the body polish. After massage was done my wife complained and the spa told her "oh we are actually out the products required." This is ridiculous and i am quite upset at the lack of professionalism. Nobody had even notified us this prior to showing up. The spa said they would offer an additional 15% off but that still does not make up for it. Spending $225 tip included (they automatically included 20% in the bill too)for a mediocre basic massage without all the services above is unacceptable. I spoke with Michael and voiced my complaints on Sunday evening. Michael said he would get back to me promptly after speaking with management. It has already been 24 hours and i have not received a response. I have also left a voicemail. Save your time and money. Avoid this spa at all costs. My wife and I had a good time here. we got a resort pass so we had access to the spa and the pools for $100 per person for the day. That was a pretty good deal even though the pool was rather busy the spa was almost empty. The staff at the spa was very friendly and helped us find food and our way around the hotel. The inside of the spa is very well stocked and very clean. The outside patio is quaint but nice and has a dozen or so places to sit in the shade. The men's side has a nice TV/reading room. they have water and snacks available as well as hot tea in each side. The sauna and the steam room were also nice and I was by myself since the men's doesn't get very busy which was nice. the only reason they didn't get a five star review at this spa is the men's jacuzzi is pretty as long as nobody else is using it it is fine but if there is so much as another person in there you might as well be a couple. there's a spot right next door that has a huge jacuzzi inside the facility. We will still come back because it's a great deal, and everybody is really nice. read more

My sister and I came to Drift for my 36th birthday spa treat. I highly recommend the experience to anyone. We were able to valet our vehicle at no add'l cost. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating even after the Air Show traffic caused us to be a few mins late. The spa is very clean and provides all the standard amenities (sauna, steam room, beautiful garden chill area, small hot pool - even with a disability chair, showers, and all the supplies following the treatment). The rooms were spot on, clean and welcoming. At first, I was intimidated for a guy masseuse but Virgil ended up being a great choice. He helped alleviate my pain in my lower back from long distance driving, and always made sure that I was enjoying the massage. Jaida (spelling?), the staff support in the spa area, was incredibly helpful, even after we had a food ordering issue. The front desk team were very kind as well. Liberal a good experience. First time at the Drift Spa & it was amazing! Worth every penny. Upon entering , it was a bit hard to find, but once I found it I was greeted professionally. Inside the womens spa, it was very cozy , clean, and relaxing. I was the only guest in there which was nice. I was a bit bummed that the sauna was temporarily out of order, but everything else was open for use. My therapist was Virgil & he was great. I'm picky when it comes to massages, and he was great. I went to Drift Spa on 11/25/24 for the 80 minute deep tissue massage for my birthday. I was really looking forward to a relaxing escape, but I went into it a bit anxious. I have had mixed experiences with massages in general because of two things 1) it is never the right pressure - it is either feather fingers or torture - usually what happens is I will ask for the massage therapist to do it a little harder and then the person goes too hard and I am too nervous to tell them it hurts so I suffer and 2) the massage therapist talks the entire time and I can't relax. Well, neither of these things happened with Lindsey. I had the best massage of my life. Just seeing her kind beautiful face relaxed me. Aside from asking me if I had any areas to avoid or that needed extra care and telling me to breathe and asking if the pressure was ok and telling me to tell her if it wasn't, she just did her magic. Decided to take my girls to the spa as a birthday celebration. We have our usual spot (Burke Williams & Pelican Hill) but wanted to try a new location. Drift is local, had great reviews and a friendly staff. We had 2 massage and 1 facial. My massage was dreamy and was told the facial felt great. I would give them 5 stars for the massage and only 2 for the amenities. Everything was small (tiny really). From their sauna, jacuzzi to their changing room. There were about 15 people total and it felt so crowded. The jacuzzi could only fit 3-4 people comfortably. We didn't get to enjoy our usually "spa day" as we had anticipated. Sadly, we were in and out..... in about 2 hours. If you're looking to get a massage, I would recommend it. If you're looking for a "spa day", I would suggest to look elsewhere. read more

This was an excellent spa, and by far the best hotel spa I've ever been to. I frequently stayed at many hotels and have tried many spas over the last few years. This experience was seamless and effortless and very positive. The front desk staff was all very helpful, and informed. One of my pet peeve's about going to a spa is that even though you may have a good experience or massage, dealing with the front desk tends to be stressful when the people don't know what they're doing, are inexperienced in ringing up a total, or are not very friendly. This was NOT the case at Drift. Well you may find other spas with fancier amenities, or slightly more "plush", this spa is worth attending and I cannot wait to go again! Yuki was my massage therapist and was AWESOME! I can not recommend her highly enough. She did minimal conversation during the treatment but kept checking in to ensure everything was going well. I just want to say what an amazing experience we had here. The service was second to none, the aesthetics of the spa was beautiful. This spa was clean, and they didn't skip a beat in terms of amenities. I came here with a group of girls for a bridal party and we all left super refreshed and loving the services we received. You have to come experience Drift Spa!! I booked a massage with Virgil (I had only heard amazing things about him) and was excited to experience his handiwork for myself. Arrival- Marlene was so friendly and walked me through all the steps of beginning my relaxation journey. Laurell was professional and kind and got me all set up in the locker room. She checked in with me periodically but let me also enjoy the space on my own. Amenities- Sauna and Steam rooms are glorious! The whirlpools were nice, as well as the relaxation room. The spa patio was very tranquil and relaxing after the massage. I enjoyed the yummy tea and infused water. The body wash and shampoo + conditioner were amazing! Massage- could not have been better! My massage was amazing! The therapist was great, wish I could remember her name. The spa rooms and relaxation areas were nice, but a little small. Jacuzzi would fit maybe 4 comfortably. We hung out in the pool area (cost $30), was nice. Loved the bartender. Drinks and food were delish. Two things that were cons for me and affected my visit was: 1- the noise from the construction ruin the ambiance and relaxation of the massage. The drilling or pounding kept getting louder and faster. Massage therapist increased the volume on the music to try drown it out. Killed the vibe. 2- it took 30 mins to get my vehicle. I waited 10 mins and ask what was going on with my car. They said oh here it is, it was not my car! Long story short they asked me 3 times the description of my car and kept giving me excuses as to what was going on. That killed it! There is a beautiful sauna and steam room, a relaxing little waiting area with snacks/tea/magazines. This was my second time and I was SO excited to finally share the over the top luxury with my fiance. However, due to COVID, things were not the same. I understand why, but we were not made aware at the time of booking. Had I known, I would not have used my Travelzoo voucher when we were not allowed to use the amenities. I would not have showed up an hour early to my appointment ( I like to shower before a massage). Instead, we were told to leave and come back. She said the pool area was open to us and I figured I could use the hot tub instead. The hot tub was closed as well. I had to take an icy plunge at 10am into the pool before my massage. The massage was outside, but I could hear the cars passing by (we were right by valet behind a wall). The masseuse did not use a towel on my eyes so it was VERY bright being outside and all. We then went to check out and asked the man if we could receive some sort of refund/certificate seeing as the amount we had paid for our massages included the use of the spa amenities and we were not made aware they were closed. He said he could do nothing, COVID was to blame, and I already received a deal because I bought it through Travelzoo. He was very rude and obviously trying to make me look bad in front of the other customers. I understand COVID is unmarked territory, but if they didn't let me know the amenities were closed, I should have been reimbursed. Otherwise I would have saved these vouchers for a later date. read more

Got my wife a Travelzoo special mani/pedi promotion for Valentine's Day and literally a day later, the polish on her fingernails was chipping off. My wife noticed the manicurist didn't seem to put a clear coat on at the end either. She's had many other manicures done and none have chipped within a day. Her cuticle also don't look that good. Oh, and they charged a mandatory 20% tip on the original price! Ridiculous that you can't even choose how much you want to tip. I don't know if they did a poor job because it was a Travelzoo discount, but regardless of how much a customer pays, what walks out of their door is a representation of the quality of work they do. My husband and I had a relaxing afternoon at the beautiful drift spa! We went on a weekday afternoon, so very few people were there. I loved the steam room. The relaxation areas were very nice and serene. We enjoyed 2 massages. My husband's deep tissue was one the best he has ever had! The only 2 things about the spa is that isn't ideal: jacuzzi and locker areas are a bit small. So, go during the week if you can.
