He just told me that not everyone gets good results. That kind of freaked me out so I didn't want to proceed with the fillers. I asked if I could get my money back for the fillers since I decided that I didn't want them. They refused to refund the money that I paid for the fillers. They offered me 6 photo facials in lieu of the fillers. I agreed since it was either that or nothing. I received 5 facials. After the 5th one, I was told that the package was only for 5, not 6. Of the 5 times that I went for my facials, I saw 4 different aestheticians, each time I went their was a new one. There was always a different receptionist also. Seems like no one wants to work there for long. It's no wonder. I would not recommend.

My skin is addicted to Amanda's facials. I try to visit her at least once every six weeks for a facial to 'refresh' my skin and she is great on recommending products that suit my face. I still get breakouts regularly to the point of still using Proactivy until Amanda recommended another option. She carries the Imagine Skin Care product line and recommended the Clear Cell Facial Cleaner. Since I have been using it, I rarely get breakouts at all anymore. Again, I don't tend to spend money on facial products, but I love the Total Repair Cream too. Going to Amanda regularly and using Imagine has my skin looking better than ever. The Salon is not big but that's what I like about it. It is very professional and classy and since it is small, very personalized. Unlike other salons I have been to where the registration and waiting area is decorated very high-end, but once you get into the room, it is very basic, the equipment looks worn, as does the esthetician, this salon is very clean, nicely decorated, and Amanda always delivers first class skin work. Oh...and she also does Airbrush tanning. I was going on vacation and didn't want to go to a tanning salon but I also didn't want to blind other vacationers with my white legs so I booked an appointment with Amanda to get a spray tan. It looked fantastic and by the time I left to go on vacation, I looked like I just got back. Be sure to follow Amanda's instructions for maintenance, especially if you are going to be in the Ocean. Salt water will fade it quickly - fortunately, by the time I was getting in the ocean, I had a base tan so all was good. Even living in Plano, going to see Amanda in Wylie is definitely worth the drive. I even bought my monther-in-law a gift certificate to see Amanda and she is now recommending Amanda to all her friends.

Dr. Ekpo was very knowledgeable and was about to examine my scalp and spot inflammation and other causes of hair loss that other derms were not able to describe. I was referred to her from my dermatologist. Dr. Ekpo has great bedside manner and was able to do blood drawn, records request from my previous derms and her medical assistant did kenalog (steroid) injections during my visit. I hesitated to come due to visit price, but I am glad I did because she identified issues no one else has been able to help or addressed. Follow up visits will be $250 and she may recommend follow up after 2 - 4 months depending on your treatment.
