Piece of shittake place, I was recording myself and a bodyguard came up to me and accused me of recording other people. I'm not recording your "ladies" relax. I'm too narcissist for this lol. It was an interesting mix of people on a summer Saturday night. I was here for my high school reunion, and the servers were hustling, doing their very best to keep our drinks coming. After a while, we moved to the outside bar area and I ordered a glass of wine...$19 later (YES $19) I switched to plain old diet coke for the rest of the night. Me and my BFF have been there more than a couple of times, ages 44+ and everyone there, starting from the entrance when they check your ID, they all are very welcoming and respectful people. Y'all, this is a COVID-19 infection hotspot! Do NOT go! Went last night (Friday 3/19/21) and NO they are not closed like their yelp page says. Yes, they are open and operating at full capacity. My friends took me and there was zero social distancing, it was packed, and I saw no one wearing masks except for the staff. Staff were probably required to have masks on because it's a job, but otherwise this business doesn't care about their employees or about you. I'm reporting them to the department of public health. I threw a 21st birthday party for 25 people on a Thursday night. Staff: Maurice and the staff were more than willing to help to make sure everything went smoothly for this epic birthday adventure. Bartenders went over and above to make sure everyone was serviced. To be honest, as busy as the club was on a Thursday night the service was spectacular. Servers and bartenders busted their a** off. Environment: The Dj was great. Good-looking people on the packed dance floor having a great time. Reminded me of The Alumni Club back in the '90s. What fun that was. My friend was discriminated against for having a driver's license from Puerto Rico. The bouncer said they were not accepting it because it was an international ID and they were not accepting IDs from other countries. I personally clarified to the bouncer that Puerto Rico is not another country, that it is a US territory and the driver's license He said he didn't care. I also told him that 5 days prior, on Saturday, we went to that same place and another bouncer corroborated that the Puerto Rico ID was valid by using the ID Checking Guide (a book that confirms Puerto Rico and other territories' licenses are valid in the US). He said if I didn't like it I could leave. Up to this point neither myself nor my friend were disrespectful to the guy. But he caused us an embarrassment in front of 7-8 other customers. I asked him to contact the manager. Another guy who is also a bouncer at the location came out and said unfortunately they couldn't take the ID. One more time I told him, that my friend was let in to the club 5 days before with the same ID and that it was corroborated using the guide. He pulled the guide and pretended that he was looking for it. In the meantime, the first bouncer said, probably the bounce from Saturday didn't take the training. However, the bouncer from Saturday followed all the guidelines per Illinois law. There weren't any issues. The issue was this bouncer from last night was a racist ignorant white person who did not know Puerto Rico is a US territory, and who thought he could discriminate a customer based on their origin. The second bouncer who came out followed us outside and did not corroborate any information in the guide, simply because they didn't want us to enter the place. However, there was a third bouncer (Salomon) who was paying attention to everything and who recognized us from the last time we visited the place, because he had personally talked to us. He remembered who we were, and he told the other two bouncers that he witnessed us coming to the place 5 days prior. He tried to convince them that he saw the bouncer from Saturday getting confirmation that my friend's Puerto Rico ID was valid for entry. But his coworkers didn't listen. Salomon followed us outside and said he would talk to the manager on duty because indeed he had seen us Saturday and he thought it was unfair. He got back in the place, and we didn't see him again. We contacted the police because we felt discriminated. The police came and understood our complaint. They went into the place. The manager came out and said he was also a Puerto Rican. But he couldn't tell why the Puerto Rico license was not taken. Which is from the get go a blatant lie. Anyone who is from Puerto Rico know that we must be treated for who we are, US citizens of this country. That was only a mask because they knew we would file a law suit for discrimination on the basis of our origin. I had plan a visit for my parents who are coming from Puerto Rico and I wanted them to get to know this nightclub. My parents don't need a passport to travel to any of the US states, because, again, this is domestic travel. I already know for a fact that my parents will be discriminated ant not allowed into this bar because they hold a PR license or ID card, and not their US passport. I add to the fact that my friend, myself, and my husband attended this club together. This was the third time we came to the place. We have danced together male-to-male because we are members of the LGBT community. We have reasons to believe we were also denied entry 5 days after we danced together inside the dance club. Slightly more than 125 classmates descended upon DRINK! to see old friends, catch up on happenings and trade stories about what they've been doing since high school. I headed the site selection for the Reunion Committee, which chose DRINK! because of its spacious, open facility, great layout for socializing, huge bar, and additional outdoor area. WOW! DRINK! did not disappoint. Setup was a breeze, the A/V throughout the event went without a hitch. The buffet, mashed potato and carving stations were excellent, a hit - and were up for a full 2 hours. Plenty of bartenders; no waiting. The party atmosphere and friendly layout contributed to a hugely successful event. Glad we chose DRINK! Nightclub for our very special reunion. read more

Drink, or the "dirty D", as the girls I hung out with Friday night affectionately nick named the place, was a fantastic time indeed. However, it should be said that how much you enjoy an evening out at this place has as much to do with you as it does the club. It is most certainly not for every taste. It is essentially a meat market styled dance club that pumps out loud EDM music til the wee hours of the morning, caters to a younger demographic, and is a place where it is still fashionable to pound down Jager bombs and make out with random girls you just met. The brazen and reckless nature of this club is reminiscent of a college bar. The only major difference is none (or very few) of the patrons are in college anymore, yet none have settled down yet either. It is a limbo of those who have moved on with their life/career, but have somehow managed to avoid the whole wife, kids, house with a picket fence, etc. routine. The dance floor is huge, and they have a large outdoor bar and seating area as well, which comes in handy as it gets pretty hot from doing the white boy shuffle non-stop for hours on end. I wish I had dressed a tad nicer, as my torn blue jeans and t-shirt were a little out of place as most people were to the 9's. The progression of the evening was fairly predictable. I have been to places like this a million times before in the past, but it has admittedly been awhile. The club was pretty dead at 10 when I arrived. By 10:45 the dance floor was packed and shots were flowing like a tidal wave. By 11:45 I had already met, been grinding on, and was in the midst of a passionate embrace of a lovely young female accountant. By 1:30, I was in love. After that, things get a little fuzzy. Glad I have my Uber app on my home screen for quick access. As guilty as I should probably feel for being so wantonly irresponsible, it actually felt pretty BA to cut loose for a change. I am certainly not saying that I plan to become a regular here, as I would like to think I have evolved a bit in my life. I used to like coming here but I will no longer be a customer. The Bouncer at the door last Friday night 8/7/2020 was incredibly rude. He looked at my ID for several minutes then started staring at me like I was crazy. I asked him if something was wrong and he started questioning my ID hardcore. He kept saying the weight on my ID doesn't match how I look, and that I look much more fat than the weight on my ID. A good beautiful girl was a thought of mars...only amazing girls were the waitresses and the go go dancers. They had a lady who was dancing with the ropes hanging from roof. On dance floor the boy to girl ratio was 5:1. For a year end weekend the number is too scary. Most of the ladies were in their late 30s. Can't recommend for New Year eve party. I will recommend this place for dinning and drinking and for dancing it's a thumb down. There were around 3 fights within 1 hour. Most people don't know how to dance and dudes were eyeballing each other. For interior and ambiance this place is a 5/5. You can't find a classy interior club in the suburbs.
