We came to Shirley's piano bar after dinner. They don't have food but there drinks were delicious. Chocolate martini and a Tito's and Tonic. Their tonic was very good. The entertainment was wonderful great songs and the girl that played the piano had a excellent voice. I could tell all the people in there were having a great time.

    The comfy high chairs.

Table 12 for the win!…read more I was in Rosemont for a work trip, which usually means dull dinners, early nights and generally a bit Puritanical. Since we were in Chicago, I took my boss and coworker to the Tiki TIki next door for a shot of Malort. It's Chicago, after all. 1 shot became 2, 2 became 4, and before I knew it, the bartender was ushering us through the swinging door into Pete's once they opened. Fun fact: we were the first ones in and also shut the bar down. From the moment the pianists started, it was clear this place was on point. Even them doing introductions and giving the ground rules was done musically. All four singers were wicked talented, and rotated in and out through the night. On occasion, they came together and became a full on quartet playing instruments other than pianos. Vocals were amazing, the energy in the place was such that I didn't even realize the time until they did last call and the lights came up. The layout of Pete's lends itself to entertainment. Regardless of what table you are at, you have a great view of the stage and no one has their back to the performance. The atmosphere is covered with fun and bright signs all over and despite being a larger place, it feels intimate when your song is played and everyone sings along. The table service was also great. She never hovered, but we also never lacked a drink. The next best thing about this place, after the performers, is the level of crowd interaction. There were folks singing along to every single song, and at times it was the whole bar. A couple of times during the night, folks were running around the bar riding a horse's head (or maybe a unicorn) on a stick. Somehow, it all just made sense. Pete's turned what could have been another boring end of a work trip sitting in the hotel into a night full of laughs, shots, and having a hoarse voice for days.

The experience is in the name; 2 guys and a small band pick songs to play and the audience really sings out loud (and really loud sometimes). I knew some of the songs so I could sing along. The inside is very big, accommodates a lot of guests, seating is everywhere, huge bar, and I loved all the cute/funny decor everywhere.

It has that classic Chicago piano bar feel -- lively but comfortable, energetic without being overwhelming. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the fun atmosphere. The lighting, the music, and the mix of people all come together to create a really welcoming vibe. The staff truly adds to the experience. Everyone is friendly and attentive, and you never feel overlooked. A special shoutout to Michelle, who goes above and beyond to make sure guests are taken care of. She's warm, professional, and genuinely makes you feel welcome, which makes a big difference on a busy night. Of course, the highlight is the live music. The performers are incredibly talented and know how to read the room, keeping the energy up while still creating moments where you can sit back and enjoy the music. Kaleen Dolan is especially impressive -- an amazing musician with a great voice and presence. She connects with the crowd effortlessly and makes every set feel personal and engaging. Whether you're out with friends, on a date, or just stopping in for a drink and some live music, Redhead Piano Bar consistently delivers a fun, memorable experience. We were meeting some people and since seating was limited, tables had to be reserved. We were all seated together, close to the stage at a table reserved for us. The bar was sufficient but they may or may not have your specific drink. But there were definitely enough adjacent choices to satisfy. They accepted all forms of payment, except checks........There was a sign that actually said it..........I thought it was funny. No food but you can have food delivered. The Stephen Hull experience was the show we attended. The show was phenomenal. We were sitting close to the stage, so the music may be too loud for some. There were people wearing earplugs but personally, I was fine without them. It was Stephen Hull's birthday, so staying consistent with that theme, he celebrated. We left at intermission but they live streamed the entire set on YouTube....Great time....We're looking forward to returning soon.

Had the cava brut rosé which was yummy and refreshing. Loved the ambiance and performance. One thing is that the website and menu made it seem like there was no cover on sundays, but it was actually $15. Not the end of the world but would've appreciated if that was more clear upfront, instead of getting charged on the bill at the end. The Cosmo martini to start was DEElicious! We were seated at a long table, but there were just 2 of us. Service was efficient and friendly, a little slow. We got food before drinks, but it was fine. Despite the name, there were a couple of instruments hanging up as decorations, like a trumpet and trombone. The bacon wrapped shrimp was good, but usually EACH shrimp has bacon on it, but this was a skewer with bacon wrapped around it. The potatoes on the side were good though. The music was nice and mellow, and the bathrooms were clean and clever, with pictures of French scenes. We saw the owner, but he did not play this time. The 'tip jar' for musicians in the middle of the room, suspended from the ceiling, was cleverly done. We shared a dessert of melt in the mouth chocolate mousse cake or something; it was awesome, very worth it, but the bar bill was quite high. With admission and drinks, I'd go AFTER dinner or a big lunch, and stick with wine if I'm on a budget.
