Overall, my experience with Luna Car Center on 6/3/26-6/4/26 started out very positively…read more From the initial contact, Sam was courteous, friendly, and professional. I came in to test drive two vehicles I had seen online and ultimately decided to purchase one. Because I secured my own financing beforehand, the process was efficient and stress-free. During the test drive, I pointed out several warning notifications that were illuminated, including a tire pressure monitor malfunction, brake fluid warning, engine oil notification, and vehicle check/service indicators. I specifically asked whether these were simply sensor reset issues or if the vehicle actually required service. I also asked whether the dealership would address these items prior to purchase or whether we should negotiate the price accordingly. Sam assured me the issues would be addressed by the service department and later contacted me to confirm everything had been taken care of. He followed up multiple times before the sale, and when I returned the next day to complete the purchase, the vehicle had been detailed, prepared for delivery, and fueled up. The sales and finance process with Hamza was quick and smooth. Unfortunately, my experience changed on the drive home when the same warning notifications reappeared. I immediately contacted Sam and asked a simple question: What work, if any, had actually been performed on the vehicle? I was not asking for repairs, a refund, or to return the vehicle. I fully understand the vehicle was sold "as is." I simply wanted transparency regarding whether services had been completed, whether the lights had been reset, or whether the vehicle still required maintenance. Sam stated he would contact the service department and get back to me. When I had not heard anything later that evening, I followed up by text and provided photos of the notifications. His response was, "Will do." As of 6/5/26, I still have not received any information or follow-up. To be clear, if the service department performed the maintenance and these warnings simply require additional diagnosis or resetting, a simple phone call explaining that would have completely resolved my concerns. The issue is not necessarily the warning lights themselves--it is the lack of communication, transparency, and follow-through. What is disappointing is that these concerns were identified before purchase, I was told they had been addressed, and afterward I could not get a clear answer regarding what was actually done. Had I been told upfront that the dealership would not address the items, I could have negotiated the price accordingly or explored other vehicles they offered. Prior to the purchase, communication was excellent. After the sale was completed, that level of communication disappeared entirely. Ultimately, my trust was not lost because of a warning light on a used vehicle. It was lost because, after spending thousands of dollars and asking a reasonable question about concerns identified before the sale, communication stopped. I was fully prepared to leave a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency and follow-up changed that perception. Based on my experience, I would encourage future buyers to document any concerns identified before purchase and obtain written confirmation regarding any promised repairs or services.

They tried attacking me and my family, police had to be dispatched to get my vehicle back and they still didn't want me to get my car. Even had the audacity to say they were not going to warranty the work. They are aggressive and very rude. Unprofessional!

SID was upfront about everything, "open book" you might say as to any questions that I had. I wanted to take it to a nearby repair shop and have them put it on a lift to check for any unknown damages, and Ivan encouraged me to do that. The car checked out really well and we completed the transaction. If SID has an auto you are looking for, I would encourage you to make them your first stop. Doug Bates Houston, TX

He test drove a few cars that had audible, visual, and odorous issues. It was stressful and we were almost ready to give up and wait awhile longer. Until... We stumbled upon SID Motors online and I was impressed with the high rating this place had earned. I also saw that SID was ranked the highest dealership on "Car Gurus" for a couple years running. We decided to check it out. David is not your "typical" salesman. He is extremely honest, answers all questions about each vehicle, and does not pressure you at all. His attitude is, he's happy to bless your family if you find a car to buy on his lot, or he'll be there to help you out if shopping in the future. He is personable, friendly, and trustworthy. We met Ivan as well and he was able to answer our numerous questions about auto insurance since he is an insurance agent too. He told us about options we weren't aware of and was very helpful! My son decided to purchase a Honda Accord from SID Motors and couldn't be happier! It's a great car in super condition! I highly recommend SID Motors and we'll definitely be back if looking again.

I had to have one. In my search, actually on Craig's list, I came across Concierge Autos and "www.yourtdiguy.com." Compared to other listings, the car seemed attractively priced, and I especially like the detailed photos--even of some of the minor flaws (a nick on the door trim, and a slight paint mark on the front bumper). I called and spoke with Daryl and he was extremely pleasant, he answered all of my questions, and arranged to meet me to see the car... on a Saturday night at 5:00 !! I drove down from Dripping Springs to San Antonio, and actually arrived at about 5:45, and he was there with a huge smile and keys in hand. The car was exactly as it had appeared in the pictures. All 30+ of them. It handled great, and was immaculately cleaned and really like new, despite the fact that it was about 2 years old with 68k miles. He knew all about the car, and was friendly and a real gentleman. He never pressured me and disclosed things I even forgot to ask about the car, its history, and what different things meant on the CarFax report, etc. I gave him a deposit, and came back about 4 days later. In the meantime, he had taken it to the VW dealer to have a 100 point inspection, get a recall notice checked out and dealt with, touched up one totally minor thing that I asked him to do, arranged for all of the registration and filings with the DMV, and threw in some luggage holders and filled it with gas. I haven't bought a car in about 14 years. This was a big deal for me, and I was like anyone, pretty apprehensive. but dealing with Daryl was about as good as it gets when buying a car. Daryl really is now, "my TDI guy."
