Moises Perez operates a wonderful little shop for fixing computer and printers. It is easy access at the Vineyard Exit of the 101 in the strip mall closest to the fwy next to the donuts. I've had laptops, desktops, printers all assessed and repaired. Several of my sons & friends have also had work done. Excellent quality work for good prices. Quick work, assessing, phone message with costs and willing to accommodate my need to store an extra week until I got paid. They even carry from and to the car if necessary. Just had a shady experience. Left my computer with them saying it kept turning it self on and off. They said diagnostic took about one working day and they would call me. A week later I went in to see the progress. "What's the problem, oh ya bring it in and we can look at it" Me, "you already have it, I can see it on the shelf behind you, it's the one with no paper work with it". Him, "the mother boards bad" I'm thinking how did he know that? No diagnosis on paper, I don't think they took it apart. If they did why would they put back together a junk computer without calling me first. I'm not saying the computers not junk. I'm just saying it looks like I payed him $50 to let it sit on his shelf for a week. read more

I had some problems with my computer,a couple of screws came lose, and I couldn't find them, took it to two different places and they said it couldn't be fixed because they didn't have any. no suggestions, I went to next generation, and was told that the screws were special, they had a nut in the back. a suggestion was made and I took it. other then misspelling my last name. everything seems ok, I will pick it up tomorrow and we will see. read more

Not too long ago I lost my iPhone 4s so I had to go back and use my 3GS, my only problem with my phone was its back cover, it was really broken apart and had missing mute and volume controls but I needed this phone to last me until next year. I was recommend to this store and was told they can fix it for me. The only other place I know was in Thousand Oaks and would have cost me not only gas money but a whopping $125 bucks. These guys fixed it for me for less and delivered my phone looking like new in a short period of time. These guys really know what there talking about unlike the kids at Frys Electronics or Bestbuy that are fresh out of high school. The absolute worse company to work with man. To start of it cost more to fix my screen with this company than to have it professionally fixed with Apple which is a $10-15 difference. Not a big deal but with even a dollar difference you should expect high quality, but the first hour I got my phone back I noticed they had payed my screen open terribly, and you could see the light of the inside phone on the side like they did not care and just through the screen on. I couldn't call to ask them within the 2 weeks I had the phone back but no worry cause there is a 30 day warranty so I had plenty of time, because I have things to do I can't just run across town for their business mistake at any given time. We're the problem really begins is when I called the company literally about 5 minutes ago, Moises, the man I talked to, had the absolute BIGGEST problem with calling so late and seemed as if he could care less he did a half ass job. Second I asked since his place was about to close if he could stay 10 extra minutes to fix his mistakes and absolutely REFUSED to. I tried to let him know how bad that was for customer service but couldn't talk for 2 seconds without him talking over me. VERY rude and unprofessional. So I hung up and got on Yelp so no person would go through a terrible overall experience. By the way the man in charge of fixing my screen was Francisco Chavez. Took my iPad mini here to have screen replaced and was told they'd fix it in 2 weeks. 4 weeks later, I get my iPad mini back. 6 months later, one side of the screen stops responding so I called them and they told me the warranty on their screen is 30 days! Won't be using them again. If you need your screen replaced, spend a little more money and go to the Apple Store. It'll be worth it in the long run. read more

I found them online and came to a little hole in the wall shop. A little nervous yes but what the heck? I brought my laptop because the screen came out of joint and wouldn't close. Of course I tried to "fix it" only to make it worse. The guy at the counter took my info. and said he'll call me the next day with an estimate. He called the next day and said the work was completed. I was trying to find a reasonable price to get my alien ware PC diagnosed and after searching around the ventura/oxnard area when i called up this place i had my answer. Most places were charging between 69.99-79.99$, then Edgar the owner of next generation tells me that he can diagnose my PC for 39.99 but that charge becomes 0$ if they have to do any repairs on the PC. So long story short in 2 days i had my PC diagnosed, repaired, and back in my hands Virus free and i only had to pay 69.99 for the virus removal. BEST DEAL AROUND! They have anyways been fair & given me great service.I have used the home calls maybe 3 times & its great to have them fix, explain & trouble shoot any problems that I haven't been able to.
