What is wrong with this place ? Is it run by teenagers or anyone? Try and contact someone, by phone, that new thing, email, text, forget it. The only way is to trick them and ask for sales. This was going to be a great place Perris residents could take their kids swimming. Suddenly the price to swim went from $2 to $18 for two kiddy slides. Yes, to swim and jump off the diving board they force you to pay for the slides and lazy cesspool. Why? New management company called Standguard Aquatics. I challenge you to try and speak with anyone in charge. I have been told the county owns this park, Do they know whats going on there? This was pitched to Perris residents as a community swimming pool. It was separate from the slides with different entrances and wristbands were given out. As usual we Perris residents will be forced to go somewhere else to eat, shop, get entertainment and now swim. Good job city council. Hope you are all getting plenty of kickbacks for all the warehouses. read more

The DropZone is a great place for the entire family. The season passes are a bargain even if you live out of the resident area. If you plan to stay for the entire day you can get a luxury cabana for only $45. This includes a snack bar server that checks in on you every 15-30 minutes and delivers your order. It also has comfy patio furniture. The snack bar has a pretty good selection. We highly recommend the ceasar salad and chicken tenders. read more

Lots of things to do for kids. The food is very decent and reasonable price. Lots of lifeguards to keep people safe. One rule they need to follow "Traditional swimwear is required". I have seen adults and kids wearing regular T-shirts or tank top in the lazy river but the lifeguards did not say anything. read more

They just opened up May of this year (2014). I was a little dissapointed but when I asked for a military discount and they let us get in for free. So to me that's already winning. Make sure you wear clothing that's not cotton for they enforce this. But other than that this place works for the kids. read more

I am so happy we finally have a fun cool place to take our kids. This is the second year it's been open so it's still in great condition. The life guards are attentive and there are plenty of them. Best times to visit are in the am when they first open, or in the afternoon, after 2. Hours are 11-6. No outside food or drinks allowed. You can bring refillable water bottles & get free ice water or purchase the cup for $9 & get free refills that day & $1 refills after that. Meals are burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chicken tenders, Caesar salad. Food prices are about $7 pp. They have a family four pack for $28 with fries & drinks. Or you could pack a picnic & eat outside. (Tip: There's a great taco place around the corner on Hwy 74 at the California ranch market, tacos made with home-made tortillas! Yum!) Re-entry with wristband is permitted. Attractions are the lazy river, three slides, a kids water playground, kiddy pool & Olympic pool. Cabana rentals are $60. Sunscreen & flip flops are a must! In my opinion, they could use more umbrellas & garbage containers. Although this year the staff has done a better job this year of picking up trash left behind by people that have no manners. read more

This year the waterpark is under new management. They say there is a military rate of $14 for a day pass on their website. This ONLY applies to active duty personnel, not dependents. The line to get in was long and moved very slowly. Regarding the food, chicken fingers were good, the burger was rubbery and unappetizing. Very few umbrellas available for shade to beat the heat so if you can rent a cabana or get there early to claim one. Overall we had a good time. read more

I've been getting season passes here for the last 4 years and I've been here probably about 60 times with my daughter. It's not the biggest and best Waterpark, but for the price and how close it is, it's awesome. The food is a little pricey but good. The Safety is amazing and very efficient. When we were paying to get in the cashier said no food or drink allowed we said "no water" she said no! So we had to take waters to car, where in the world is there a place were water is not allowed, when I asked why no water she said its the rules, I asked for manager because I just needed the purpose for that rule, the manager said because people tried to bring in liquor but if the water bottle cap hadn't been broken what the problem? Then after all that there was no one checking bags! Then the chairs and the ground around chairs were really dirty. A lot of kiddies in the lazy river area and then around 3:00pm life guards had anyone under 13 get out I didn't understand that. The lines for food were long and slow and your waiting in an unshaded area. The was not enough tubes. When I had questions for employees they had no answers like we asked people making food if we could eat in any area in the park and they didn't know. But with all that said the water park is great for little kids and the larger pool is really nice too for deep diving and for doing laps and taking swimming lesson and shaded areas to sit and watch. I didn't have much expectations for a place in Perris, CA but I certainly walked away impressed. They cater to all ages and have plenty of supervision. Not to say that you shouldn't watch your own child, but they keep others in line. I'm here with a toddler and the splash pad is perfect for hours of fun. Good for your toddler boring for you; however, I didn't come for me! All in all, great fun and value. read more

We came to Drop Zone as a group of 32. Regina helped us with our group planning/reservation details. She was an absolute joy to work with. We were so well taken care of. We had our own private area with 3 cabanas, tables, chairs, and lunch brought out to us!!! We have planned/chaperoned many group outings, they can go wrong in in so many ways. first time here with my nieces (10 & 11 yrs) got there right at 10:00 short line to get in. Got our shade right away for me to sit and relax. The girls got on all slides more than 5 times each. Short lines, tons of friendly lifeguards. The place was clean and not crowded until around 1:00pm then the crowds came in. This place is great for kids under 12 its small enough to let them run around on their own. I would come back. read more

They have a great military discount; the member gets in free with 3 free guests. It is a small park. Seems like it would be good for younger children (elementary and under) because there is a lot of staff/lifeguards that are active in making sure there is no horseplay ect... from older kids. On the other hand I think older kids might get bored. Also the lifeguards go a bit over board with safety. Even if your an adult you have to take a swim test before you go in the pool which is just silly. read more

We went Dropzone for the first time yesterday! It's nice that I only live 5 mins from here. I'm really surprised to have such a nice and fun water park right here in Perris in a very small rural area we are moving on up! It's much bigger than the water park in riverside. There was no wait maybe b/c a lot kids had already started school. There are plenty of lifeguards and it's clean. They also have 2 volleyball courts which I've never seen at a water park so that's a nice added bonus. I love their lazy river that's my fav. I like to just float around and relax in the water. Me, my daughter and 2 grand kids enjoyed the kiddy area a lot. The food was decent and the prices were reasonable for the park. We had a cheeseburger combo for $6.95 and they grill the burger right there so you know it's fresh! My grandson got kids combo chicken nuggets for $4.99 and he loved it. I was disappointed that they closed down the water slides after being there for half an hour. My grandson got to go on it once but me and my daughter didn't get a chance to. But all in all it was a fun filled day at Dropzone and I was very pleased! I would definitely recommend for anyone to go there. It's a fun place for the whole family so com'on out to Perris! Oh and I can say Perris finally has something to for the family b/c there ain't nothing to do out here! read more

The park is very clean, including the bathrooms and showers. Not as many rides or as big as other water parks like Raging Waters or Aquatica, but the less expensive tickets reflect that fact. It has plenty of umbrellas to provide shade. It's a wonderful place for tweens and younger, not too exciting if your kids like big exciting rides. It's more of a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty for the kids to do on their own if you are confident in their swimming skills (not the small children, of course). Lots of lifeguards and complimentary life vests to use in the park. The website is very informative. Definitely recommend for young families. Parking is free. Just wish the park opened at 10:00 am. read more

I took my girls (3 and almost 5) during the week. We had a blast once we got in. I think some shade should be put in over the entrance so people don't have to wait in the hot sun. Also make the lines a little clearer from a distance. We waited in the wrong line for a bit because we couldn't tell which line to be in. Also a water fill station on the water park side would be good. But overall we had a great time and will be back! read more

Had a great time here with my 11m old. He loved the play areas with the fountains. Had the time of his little life! I do wish they would let him ride with me in tubes in the lazy river. Also wish that they had life jackets that actually fit him since they require he wear one in everything there and wish he didn't have to wear one when I take him in the swimming pool. I got off work early to meet my family here. I was really excited as I work long hours and was looking forward to some time with my husband and kids. I waited 50 min in line to get into the park. The lines were confusing. Several guests were confused about where to go. The signs made no sense. I was just happy to finally get into the park since at this point I only had about 2 1/2 hours to spend with my family. As soon as I got into the park they took their 30 minute break where everyone has to get off all the attractions. I was kind of bummed, but I understand timing isn't always going to work in my favor. It was 104 outside and I had been in the sun for quite a while so decided to get some drinks until we could go play. I waited 45 minutes in a completely disorganized line where several staff gave different instructions about how the lines work. One window was for refills only, but the woman had not helped anyone for about 5 minutes. I asked if I could just buy drinks, or if others who just needed drinks could move to that line since she had nobody waiting. She said no. I finally gave up and asked for a refund. The manager was condescending and just overall had a bad attitude. I got my things and left, after over 2 hours without ever getting to enjoy anything in the park. It wasn't that busy, and just some consideration and better organization could have prevented this from being a totally horrible experience. I was genuinely upset, and missed out on one of the few opportunities I had to spend with my family. I really hope they consider making changes to improve customer service. It was really disappointing and I would have felt better if the manager had been even a little bit pleasant or understanding, and tried to help. I was just rudely handed my money, and that was it. This place really needs more organization and planning to prevent wasting their customers time they should be enjoying themselves. read more

The place is affordable, clean, and the staff is professional and friendly. We recently moved to the area and were looking for a hot weather pool option close by. There are three main waterslides, a good size lazy river, small pool, kids water play area, and an Olympic size pool with a high diving board. They have a refreshment stand with decent food and surprisingly not overpriced. What I liked most about the park is that we could go with a season pass and stay for just a couple hours in between other activities we may have planned for that day. Dropzone is extremely clean and well maintained. There is plenty of seating even when the park gets busy. They open on Memorial Day Weekend and close on Labor Day weekend. They are open just weekends until the end of June and for the entire month of August. In July, they were open at night until 9pm on Wednesday's and Friday's. There operating hours are 10am-5pm. read more

This isn't a huge water park. However, for the price and location it's meets our needs. The park has 4 water slides, has a FlowRider attraction for boogie boarding or stand up simulation of riding waves. The park also has a children's area, a splash pad, a shallow pool, and an Olympic size swimming pool that requires a swim test to swim in. There are more then enough lounge chairs to meet the customers needs and umbrellas if you need shade. For the price of $20 you can bring in a cooler full of food for you and your family if you are unwilling or can't afford to pay the higher prices at the food stands. There are also several cabanas that are available for rent. However, I didn't check on the prices as we rarely stayed seated in our seats. As I spoke with one of the lifeguards at the park, I learned that all of the lifeguards had to undergo a strenuous 46 hours of training, swim testing, CPR certification, other life saving skills, along with written tests they had to pass in order to work as a lifeguard at the park. I noticed that most the lifeguard seem to be teenagers from the local highs schools which helps them get reliable work for the summer. In conclusion we purchased the season pass for about $50 instead of the $18 per day. We have definitely got our money's worth. Plus the park is close to our home and on these hot summer days without a pool of our own it's a great way to beat the heat. read more

This water park is perfect for my boys (age 3 and 7). It is clean and friendly with plenty to do. Safety is top priority which is also nice.

I took my daughter here right after it opened, and was so annoyed that we didn't come back until last Saturday. I figured that many of the problems would have been worked out by now. I was wrong! We got to the ticket line a little before 2pm and were surprised that there were only 5 groups in front of us. We mistakenly thought that would mean a short wait time. There were two windows open, but one line. After about 10 minutes and nobody moving, a worker came by and told us to curve the line around and make two lines. Several of us moved towards one of the windows and the lady in front of us got all kinds of annoyed, and jumped in front of the group in front of us, complaining about how long she had been standing there. After another 5 minutes, she finally made it to the window. It took another 10 minutes for us to get through. 25 minutes for two ticket agents to process 5 groups of people. UNBELIEVABLE! Then I understood why she was so annoyed. I ask about buying a $1 locker token, like it says on the sign. The agent tells me I have to go through the gate and stand in another line to rent a locker. Why can't the ticket agents do that, they're already handling the money? We wait in line for another 5 minutes only to be told that locker rental is $5 because you have to rent a whole padlock, instead of purchasing a token. Time to update your signs, folks! We FINALLY get everything in the locker and our sunscreen on.....it's now 2:30pm. Guess what? They close the entire park down for 30 minutes to "clean". Why can't they shut down one thing at a time, so you can go do something else until it reopens? Nope, every person in the park is now scrambling to find a seat in the shade or takes that opportunity to stand in line for food. Needless to say, after standing in two lines for half an hour to get in, we were not happy to have to waste the next 30 minutes just sitting. When everything finally reopened, we headed to the lazy river. Guess what? They apparently only own about 12 tubes, so you have to hang out by the entrances/exits and hope someone turns loose of one as they're getting out. Otherwise, you just free float around. If you're lucky enough to get a tube, make sure nobody hangs on it or touches it while you're in it, or you'll get yelled at by one of the life guards. Don't know who's actually running this place, but after all this time, it's still the most unprofessional park we've ever been to. read more
