MUST ASK FOR NICOLE AS YOUR SERVER!!! Nicole was awesome she even remembered us when we came back weeks later. When I say remember...I mean remember REMEMBER! She remembered our drink orders from weeks ago and our food orders. I haven't seen such great service in a really long time. When it comes to the food I must say the TENDERS, FRIES, PICKLES, MEATBALLS, and PHILLY...were great! The only food item that we tried that we didn't really like was the fried catfish bites/pieces. I am not sure if it was really catfish or some other fish and the pieces are so thin that it was mostly beading. While Nicole IS always AMAZING! Not everyone else at this place is as attentive or friendly. So calibrate your expectations. Some of the servers and rude and very dismissive. They clearly have their usual customers who they cater to and ignore other guests.

While in town for work, I ended up visiting Drunken Donkey a few times, and it quickly became a favorite spot. The drinks are reasonably priced, and they have an impressive selection of local draft beers--something that many other places in the area seem to lack. I only ordered the Bacon Thingys each time I was there, as I was just looking for some protein, but they were excellent every time. The staff was always really attentive, making the experience even better. What I particularly appreciated was the laid-back, dive bar vibe. I could put on my headphones, sit at the bar, and get some work done without any hassle. It was the perfect balance of a casual atmosphere with great service. I'll definitely return anytime I'm in the area for work.

Where there is beer, I'll be near! Always on a beer trek, I found this place whilst out and about shopping one day. This was the nearest brewery that night. Pretty dark setting but not quite dive bar vibes. Nice variety of beer to choose from and the bartenders were all very nice as well. Well put together establishment for sure.

Gosh, only giving it 3 stars as the food was 10/10 and I'm picky on a Philly.. the chef does not match the rest of the place. We're always down for a new dive bar but this place is a no. Staff was fine, our server was nice enough. They desperately need a remodel (or at least new chair coverings) and they good use a solid drink menu as they'd likely sell more cocktails. We had high hopes but we won't be going back(but I'd order that Philly to go!!)

My husband and I just moved to this area and came here to try it out. The food was amazing. We had the donkey balls and big a$$ nachos. We subbed the chips for FF and it was soooo good. Our bartender was really chill he was the PM bartender on Monday. (Forgot the name, sorry) We will definitely come back. The ambience of the place was great as well.

Big selection of craft to include a few sours. Large portions for the flights. Bartender was very efficient and was alone for most the time we were there. Did an amazing job for those at the bar and us at a table.

I last visited this place during their brief name change. Unfortunately, the service was not as remarkable as that visit. Although I was sitting at the bar tended by three employees, the service was still slow. One bartender somehow failed to see that I wanted the check yet serviced the woman standing behind me. Fortunately, another employee clearly saw that I was ready to leave. The fish & chips were okay. The two pieces of fish were large and tender, but I was very thankful for the tartar sauce. Chips were interesting as they had spices applied to them because they had an interesting taste In addition to being crunchy. As for the drink, I enjoyed the Sam Adams Oktoberfest (#46). Then again, I have never disliked anything from Sam Adams.

Drunken Donkey came in clutch after hours of driving around to find a seat on New Years Day. Everywhere we went was crowded due to college football bowl games. Low-key, ducked off " in the cuts" as the young people say, this little restaurant-bar had a full bar and medium size menu of wings, fries, burgers, entrees, and any other food typically found at a bar. Nothing gourmet but still tasty. This place saved the day! Clutch performance! Also, thank you to our wonderful servers, Nicole and Kaitlyn M.

A nice sports bar and grill to enjoy ti get out with friends. Has full bar but ran out of Michelob beer and Miller beer before midnight. Also had limited amount of pineapple juice and Cranberry juice for alcohol. Has a huge variety of beers to enjoy but no cocktail list to choose from. The BLT sandwich and fish tacos were good as well as the fries. Not enough green beans served as a side. You have indoor and outdoor seating with tvs to watch. My server, Vee, was very nice, detailed and efficient in serving us. She made me feel very welcome and was very attentive to our needs. She highly suggested the bacon thingies for an appetizer. Would definitely go back only due to her customer service. Thank you Vee for making me enjoy my night out.

I miss the Drunken Donkey in Keller, so when I have an occasion to be near The Colony location, I try to make time to visit. This visit was a weekday afternoon, so not the same buzz as my prior visits, but the bar was still pretty full. My son and I recalled that the boneless wings were large chicken tenders, so we split 12, and got 1/2 Chipotle BBQ and 1/2 Donkey Gold (Mustard-based). As always, the chicken is meaty and tender and the breading is lightly crunchy and the sauces really flavorful! They will also toss the fries in any sauce you choose, so I got my order tossed in Sweet Red Chili. All told, this is my favorite place for wings in the Metro! The service was very good and there are plenty of TV screens to watch your sporting event of choice. If you haven't been, be sure to give the Drunken Donkey a try!

First off.. Service is amazing! Super nice and helpful and fast! But food... man it sucks... Its like when you are in 5th grade and you go to a camp and get the cafeteria food. I came here to give it a try because they had a deal going on where if you buy a drink, ur meal would be 1 dollar. Pretty great deal but once u get ur food man.. Bbq chicken was tough like jerky.. mac and cheese was pasta in nacho cheese... Chicken fried steak.. tough bland and soggy chicken steak.. Soggy and thick breaded fish and chips.. fries looked like it was so old... Looking at the prices, i would NOT pay 14 to 15 bucks for this tbh.. 1 dollar sure but even then it was bad.. Im so disappointed because service was so great but man the food... Its a place to drink but idk about food.

I chose a great day to visit due to the fact it's opening day for the World Cup. The Colony location provided a great atmosphere and opportunity to cheer on Mexico defeating South Africa 2-0. The crowd definitely heavily favored Mexico. The place was packed a testimony to the quality service you will receive there. My server was Madelynn and she couldn't have been better. I wanted to get in early to get a spot since I'm visiting from Florida. I wasn't sure how quickly it would fill up. Madelynn was exceptional and very attentive. She made great recommendations and told me about their Dos Equis contest. I drank a few to help out her sales. I never had to ask for anything and her menu knowledge was great. She's got a spectacular look and should be a great brand ambassador for the company. I recently purchased a Rowdy Cowboy 2026 calendar on this trip and hope to see her in next years edition. She's going to be a great promotional girl. Thank you Michael J Beal Clearwater, Florida

Our server was fantastic, she was attentive, quick and gave us suggestions. We absolutely love it when the staff gives recommendations at ANY restaurant! Our server recommended joining their app club thing so we also got a free app outta that! The restaurant is huge too, it has plenty of seating which we walked right in and were seated right away. Noise level is very low too, I liked that very much. I'm very surprised reading and seeing the photos of the folks that are giving this place bad reviews. It seems to be every one has one thing in common, from what I'm picking up. They are all using take out service. I just don't think you can judge any place for food if you aren't eating it there. It's like ordering McDonalds and taking it home 15 minutes away and then blaming them for the food to be cold. Food changes after it's prepared. I'm not saying they aren't pointing out the obvious cooking flaws but geez... We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.
