What a fantastic experience at Heritage Pizza & Taproom! We ordered the Ballpark pizza, the Godfather pizza, and the stuffed mushrooms, and every single thing was absolutely delicious. The food came out surprisingly fast, everything was fresh and flavorful, and you could tell it was made with care. What really stood out, though, was the attitude of the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the whole experience even better. Our only disappointment is that we don't have a Heritage Pizza & Taproom closer to home--we'd be regulars if we did! We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area. Everything and I mean everything was right about our pizzas today. Of course I ordered my usual. Ground beef, sausage, pepperoni, anchovies, green olives, onions, mushrooms and extra cheese. It was prepared to pure perfection with the right amount of toppings. Crispy in all the right ways. Oh and the sauce...tasty. Tangy with the right amount flavor that compliments the whole pizza. Partner and I visited for a date night and were overall impressed! I really enjoyed the decor, huge shoutout to the interior designer. It was decently busy but we were still able to get a table. Also of note was the soda fountain, which was clean and cute with the pull down lever style. We first tried the spinach artichoke dip. Though I found this a bit salty and our bread that came with it a little burnt, we overall enjoyed this! My pizza was the namesake Heritage, and this was the "little" size (personal pizza). While overall good, I did find that it was a pretty moist pizza that was hard to pick up and toppings were constantly falling off. My bf got the people's choice and it looked much easier to eat. Overall, we enjoyed this restaurant and my bf expressed a desire to return. I came here for a private party in the room off of the main restaurant. It was a perfect set up for a small gathering. The service was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and came in often to see if anyone needed anything and to clean up the used plates, etc. The party organizers had ordered a variety of appetizers and pizzas that were all set up and arranged very nicely. I tried the meatballs and spinach salad and a margarita pizza slice. My body can't handle onions and garlic so it's a struggle to find things to eat at events like this sometimes. The meatball was huge and very good, the spinach salad had tons of little onions on it so I found a few spinach pieces without that I could eat. The pizza looked appealing but it was cold because it had probably been set up an hour ago at the party start time. But I ate it anyway. The ambiance in this place is quiet and the staff is friendly. I got the 14" build your own, a good size for a small family. If you like lots of veggies and meats on your pizza I suggest looking before the menu before you order. They charge by the toppings. Oooh we found a new amazing place!! Well, actually our great friends took us here and we are so excited to tell others. Being dairy free it's usually not my favorite to visit a pizza spot, but Heritage's "build your own" pizza was divine! I chose their basic marinara sauce with no cheese, then added all my yummy toppings (spinach, garlic, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, brisket and all drizzled with hot honey). The kids split a large 1/2 cheese + 1/2 pepperoni. Although we didn't order sodas or alcohol, they have an extensive beer list and some yummy drinks to choose from. My friend tried their lunch special and the salad was so large she didn't even touch her pizza. It is THIN crust, very thin and they cut all their pizzas, personal and large, into squares. So if you are a bread lover and your pizza needs to have a hefty crust, this is not your place - although I would challenge you to try it anyways, it's good! I appreciated the thinner crust, and the crunch was just right that I could fold my "middle" pieces so as to not get sauce all over my fingers and it held up nicely. The kids and I all finished our pizzas off and agreed we need to come back. BONUS! We have been coming here for a while and have pretty much tried everything they have. Favorite time is BOGO pizza night on Thursdays. This is a counter service restaurant and they delivery your food to you. They have a bar with a LOT of beers on tap as well as a good wine selection. For the food again i have tried most everything from the Mac and Cheese and Lasagna and are the typical go to unless it is BOGO Thursday then it is all about the pizza. We usually get the Goat and Fig and a Boss Hog. You can't complain about Goat Cheese AND Fig with balsamic glaze. The boss hog is spicy but has lots of meat! The Bees Knees is another favorite but the fingers tend to get a little sticky from the hot honey. My biggest complaint is the soda fountain and the regular sodas dispense super foamy but that is something i get from that particular brand at a lot of restaurants. You can do the bogo both dine in or online but for some reason the online code doesn't work sometimes so you can call them and they will fix the price on it! It's easy to order and you order when you walk in then find a seat inside. On Thursdays it does get busy so come early if possible. It can get a little bit busy on Thursday but it seems like a nice place for a casual date or to bring the family. i cant imagine grown adults coming here willingly by themselves without kids to eat the food here. the word "pizza" is in the name and it tastes like something you'd get from the freezer section in Krogers. Starting off the new year right with the best pizza we have found in the area. That's a tall mountain to climb especially being from Chicago and this being a take out order. Side note I'll definitely be coming back to check out the drinks at the little cozy bar.
