I had called a different company for a yearly service and when they arrived, they located mold on…read moremy handler. They were very aggressive and pushed us to sign with them immediately for a new system. We decided to get a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. Simon from ARS came to my home and looked over my system and made some suggestions. Simon was great and took his time explaining every aspect of the process and what we could expect. He was respectful of my home and time and very pleasant to work with. He reviewed the warranties and guarantees the company offered. Explained all their techs are drug tested and have background checks, which, I have to say I was really glad about it because I've had problems in the past. Once we decided to go with them, they got everything set up, and even though it was way after 5 o'clock ( they were assisting me until around 8) to help me set up my appointment for the very next morning. Mike and Hunter showed up on time and ready to work. Both very respectful and they got right to work. They made sure to do everything possible to keep my home clean and free of damage. They cleaned up after themselves and left my house exactly how they found it. They even helped me set up the app for my new thermostat and told me what filters we needed to use, how often to change them and how to keep our system clean to help give it a longer life. I would definitely return to them if I ever needed to a replace my AC unit again and highly recommend them. It has been nothing but a positive experience from start to finish.

I wish I would've checked out ARS / Rescue Rooter before I committed to have them replace my AC…read morethrough Home Depot two years ago. It's been almost two weeks since the diagnosed a part under warranty. The appointment was scheduled between 8-noon yesterday to replace the condenser coils. I never received a text update to say when they would be here. I had to call at 1:30, 330, at 5:30 when they finally said we can reschedule you. Not great customer service like they say when you call them. I also had to pay upfront as well. What company does that? I will never use them again.

**A True Example of Professionalism and Customer Care**…read more I wanted to share my immense gratitude for the exceptional service provided by the technicians at Del-Air. Back in May, Eric and his team came out to handle a line replacement for my outside AC unit leading inside after finding a leak. They were thorough, professional, and explained everything clearly. When I started experiencing intermittent cooling issues again recently, I specifically requested Eric since he was already familiar with my system. Although he wasn't available, Tony came out today to troubleshoot the new issue. Tony quickly identified a new leak inside the unit. Naturally, finding another issue so soon after a previous repair was overwhelming and stressful, but Tony handled the situation with complete empathy and professionalism. What stands out most about both Eric and Tony is their dedication to the customer. For both repairs, they took the time to clearly explain the root cause of the issues, why the specific repairs were necessary, and what steps could be taken to save money on the work and prevent future AC problems. In my opinion, both Eric and Tony are exactly the kind of technicians who should be handling escalated issues and working with customers facing repeat callouts within a short timeframe; their approach makes a stressful situation so much easier to navigate. If they aren't already managers, shift leads, or lead trainers for Del-Air, they definitely should be. Both technicians are a fantastic reflection of the standard of quality at Del-Air. Every technician I've interacted with from this company has been exceptionally knowledgeable, understanding, helpful, and professional. While I'm currently waiting for this second repair to be fully completed, I couldn't be more grateful for the care and expertise both techs provided during stressful moments. Highly recommend their service team, specifically Tony and Eric, if you can request them personally. Thank you, Tony (and Eric)!

I can sum up Del-Air in three words, DON'T USE THEM!…read more They are a scam company who tries to upsell you constantly. Creating work so they could charge you extra. One example: they told me my TXV valve was going out when it showed no visible signs of problems, and the next thing I knew two days after they left, it was out. That cost me $3000. The next time I gave him another chance and they tried to sell me a new air handler when they had done a replacement of the houses Air handle of five years before. It showed no signs of being going out and that's when I said, get out and stay away.

I had called my warrantee company to get my air handler on my ac unit fixed. I got a call the next…read moreday from Bennet and Sons to have someone come out and look at my air handler. the tech was supposed to come the next day but he didn't show up as planned. I called and spoke to Patty, I did NOT experience the rude lady as others have said, and she apologized for the delay, she said he would be here about 5:30 and I asked if the tech could come the next day, Friday, instead as I had plans, she said that would be good. The guy showed up pretty early on Friday and diagnosed the problem. very quickly, took pictures of the units and he let the company know what was wrong in a phone call. I didn't hear from them on Monday so I called and Patty picked up and said she had gotten the approval and would order the parts. I asked how long before the tech would be back out to repair the unit. she told me possible Tuesday but probably Wednesday. I sad ok and I called back on tuesday and she said he would be here Wednesday first thing and would call before he showed up. 9 am rolled around and I hadnt heard from anyone so i called and again Patty answered, she said he was on his way. All of a sudden I hear someone shouting at Patty and asking did she call me or did I call them. I didn't understand why he was yelling at her about that but anyway she told the me the tech was on his way and shortly after that the technition arrived. The technician named Mike was very pleasant, repaced the parts, checked to make sure it was running properly, cleaned up and left. My AC unit is still working perfectly. I can say Patty was mostly pleasant to me but having a boss yelling across the room when she is on a phone call with me is rude so if people have had a hard time with Patty being anything but nice it probably because of her bosses behavior. He probably could be more professional and not yell across the room at her while she is on a call with a customer. After putting up with behavior like that all day I think I would probably be a bit nasty mood too. He is the only reason i didn''t give them 5 stars. Thanks Patty and Mike for a job well done! 5 stars for you both!

Got the job done fast, but beware of their pricing. I paid just shy of $2,000 to have a blower fan…read morereplaced, $1,200 of which went directly to this company for labor and markup on an already ridiculously inflated part. The actual repair took maybe an hour and a half tops, but was charged for 2.5 hours at $200 an hour as they drove to Maitland and back to get the part then to the shop and back to get more tools. Their cost on the part was $800, and they claim their policy is 45% markup, so they added on an additional $650 to that (if you're doing the math, they actually charged me over an 80% markup). I get that everything is more expensive right now, so I'm not questioning the $800 for a part that should be around $200-$400, but adding in an additional $650 on top of a $200 per hour delivery fee essentially really feels like taking advantage of the situation. I reached out to the owner with my concerns and he told me "...this is the cost of business, we provide a service for profit. I guarantee we are the most affordable contractors in the area." My advice is to get quotes from a few businesses and don't blindly trust companies like this are trying to help you out at all.

We called late in the day Saturday and they responded very quickly. They were very clear about their prices and service. I would definitely recommend making the call to see what they can do for you in your time of HVAC need.
