**A True Example of Professionalism and Customer Care**…read more I wanted to share my immense gratitude for the exceptional service provided by the technicians at Del-Air. Back in May, Eric and his team came out to handle a line replacement for my outside AC unit leading inside after finding a leak. They were thorough, professional, and explained everything clearly. When I started experiencing intermittent cooling issues again recently, I specifically requested Eric since he was already familiar with my system. Although he wasn't available, Tony came out today to troubleshoot the new issue. Tony quickly identified a new leak inside the unit. Naturally, finding another issue so soon after a previous repair was overwhelming and stressful, but Tony handled the situation with complete empathy and professionalism. What stands out most about both Eric and Tony is their dedication to the customer. For both repairs, they took the time to clearly explain the root cause of the issues, why the specific repairs were necessary, and what steps could be taken to save money on the work and prevent future AC problems. In my opinion, both Eric and Tony are exactly the kind of technicians who should be handling escalated issues and working with customers facing repeat callouts within a short timeframe; their approach makes a stressful situation so much easier to navigate. If they aren't already managers, shift leads, or lead trainers for Del-Air, they definitely should be. Both technicians are a fantastic reflection of the standard of quality at Del-Air. Every technician I've interacted with from this company has been exceptionally knowledgeable, understanding, helpful, and professional. While I'm currently waiting for this second repair to be fully completed, I couldn't be more grateful for the care and expertise both techs provided during stressful moments. Highly recommend their service team, specifically Tony and Eric, if you can request them personally. Thank you, Tony (and Eric)!

It would be zero stars, if I could. Here is why. We hired them in July 2026 to install new air…read moreducts in a new to us/but older house. The guys fell through the CEILING. They stopped fixing the air ducts. The air ducts are to be strapped to the roof. They stopped that. They did not do the "return air vent" into the second bedroom (because they fell through the roof? (no one was injured BTW). We held payment, until someone came out. My husband who is an "egg head" (love him, but I was at work) and doesn't understand the air return situation...paid them because they showed him pictures in the attic. that there are "some" strapped us air ducts...but still missing a return in the second bedroom. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE...IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM...YOU ONLY GET AI PEOPLE...WHICH TELL YOU IT IS "ESCALATED"...BUT i'VE BEEN CALLING FOR 7 DAYS NOW...WITH NO RESULTS. I had a very disappointing experience with this company through my home warranty…read more The technician came to my home, diagnosed the issue, and I paid the $100 service call fee. However, my home warranty company later informed me that this company never submitted the required diagnosis or claim write-up for authorization. Because of that, my warranty claim was closed without any repairs being approved or completed. After I raised the issue, the owner apologized and agreed in writing to refund my $100 service call fee. He asked how I wanted to receive payment, then later stated he would mail me a business check. I provided my mailing address immediately. Despite multiple follow-up emails over the following weeks, I never received the promised refund. I was also given conflicting explanations for why my claim was denied. During the service visit, I was told the issue was an improperly installed double-trapped condensate drain. Later, after the claim had already been closed, I was told it was denied because of a lack of maintenance due to construction debris. Meanwhile, my warranty company maintained that no diagnosis or authorization request had ever been submitted before the claim was closed. Ultimately, I had to hire another HVAC company to resolve the problem myself. My concern isn't that the warranty claim wasn't covered--it's that the required paperwork was never submitted, the communication was poor, and the promised refund was never sent despite repeated assurances.

Unfortunately, the home warranty company was a pain for them to deal with, in getting the part they needed, but they pursued. Got the job done fast, but beware of their pricing. I paid just shy of $2,000 to have a blower fan…read morereplaced, $1,200 of which went directly to this company for labor and markup on an already ridiculously inflated part. The actual repair took maybe an hour and a half tops, but was charged for 2.5 hours at $200 an hour as they drove to Maitland and back to get the part then to the shop and back to get more tools. Their cost on the part was $800, and they claim their policy is 45% markup, so they added on an additional $650 to that (if you're doing the math, they actually charged me over an 80% markup). I get that everything is more expensive right now, so I'm not questioning the $800 for a part that should be around $200-$400, but adding in an additional $650 on top of a $200 per hour delivery fee essentially really feels like taking advantage of the situation. I reached out to the owner with my concerns and he told me "...this is the cost of business, we provide a service for profit. I guarantee we are the most affordable contractors in the area." My advice is to get quotes from a few businesses and don't blindly trust companies like this are trying to help you out at all.

We called late in the day Saturday and they responded very quickly. They were very clear about their prices and service. I would definitely recommend making the call to see what they can do for you in your time of HVAC need.
