I got the nachos and marg pitcher for happy hour with a friend. $27.50 for both! It was delicious and the staff were all wonderful. I definitely will be coming back!

PCH Highway - waffle fries, muenster cheese, grilled chicken, bacon, sauce and guacamole!

All around it was an okay experience at Dry Dock. My friend had been here before but said that this time was not as good as previous. The waitstaff was not very attentive or helpful and ended up arguing with another table over the food order. Additionally, the prices were a little too high for mostly basic bar food. I expect high prices in this area but paying $20 for a burger and fries when the bun is thick and dry does not make me want to come back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall just nothing special about this place - but they do have tvs with sports on if that's what you're looking for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chicken and waffle sandwich with fries!!!

Picked up food for lunch. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich and was not disappointed at all. Very delicious and comes with fries. Also big enough portion to have some leftover. The order was ready within 15-20 mins and the staff were very courteous and friendly. I want to go back for happy hour and have a drink and try some other stuff on the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not a huge place but looks very cozy and a few TVs to keep you entertained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food is good American fare. Standard bar bites. Great craft beer and drink selection. Chicken wings were fried perfectly, crispy on outside and juicy inside. Slider was cooked to perfect medium per request and waffle fries are soooooo good. Beef empanadas are delicious and served with a creamy green sauce with hints of cilantro. Mozzarella sticks were the best I've ever had. Crispy outside and great cheese pull. Fried pickles has a cornmeal batter consistency to keep them very crispy and hold together but a bit thick for my liking. Pickles themselves were delicious. Service is great. Many regulars in the bar area watching ball games. It's a little community where everyone knows each others names and it's nice that the staff know their patrons. Very welcoming place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great decor inside. Modern, clean and smells good as they had candles lit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is on the side and back of the restaurant. I found out they have brunch on the weekends and I look forward to trying it out.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great atmosphere and very friendly service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We chose to come here for Sunday Brunch. I had the Mexican Benedict and it was fantastic. The rum punch on the cocktail menu is delicious!

I would like to state the waitress was extremely knowledgeable, informative, respectful, friendly, and all around outstanding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was chill and decent. It has its regulars, which is good. It was quiet and rowdy at the same time, if this makes sense, since it is still a bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I deducted 3 stars for three reasons. I took a star off because the Philly cheese steak my grandpa ordered was unpleasantly salty and rather dry. There also wasn't much cheese and really no flavor, unfortunately. He stated it was the worst Philly Cheese Steak he's ever eaten. He also stated his sweet potato fries were over-seasoned with salt. I decided to remove another star since my grandma did not enjoy the margarita pizza she shared with her sister. She felt the pizza was too thin, crunchy, and a bit hard to eat. The cheese was also too salty for her. Another star was removed because I did not enjoy my pizza either, despite it being a custom pizza. I should have asked what type of goat cheese they used instead of assuming it was the same type I use when I make homemade pizza. The goat cheese tasted fine; the problem I had was with the sauce, thin crust, and the honey hot chicken. I felt the sauce was unappetizing and had a strange taste. The thin crust was unpleasant and felt a bit undercooked; the honey hot chicken lacked any taste of honey or hot sauce, it just tasted like grilled chopped chicken. Despite eating the whole 12-inch pizza, since I had not eaten all day, it was rather disappointing and ironic that the waitress even noticed I was not satisfied with the meal. My family and I had high hopes since a family friend we were visiting recommended this place, and spoke highly of this place's food and diversity. Overall, my family and I will most likely not dine here again. We essentially just ate the food since we were all starving in the moment.

First time here, food was very good. It's a bar menu so nothing fancy but if you're looking for a food bar, beer, food, sports on tv, then give this place a try. We had the nachos (very fresh and tasty) as well as a Blackened Chicken Ceasar. The chicken was very well seasoned, and tasty.

Lite pitcher
Saiteja G.

The happy hour prices are quite reasonable. We got the miller lite pitcher for 12$. However, the wings and nachos seemed a bit stale. Especially the wings. I am sure the wings were cooked a long time ago and just tossed in the sauce I chose. Very hard and stale. Disappointed with the food! We got the waffle churros with vanilla ice cream for desert. This was absolutely the delightful dish of my DDBG VISIT. I would try this desert again.

I haven't been here in many years definitely before being bought out by the chain PARKING - the definition of disaster. But they have a few spot's available ENTRANCE - you are kind of on your own so catch an employee for a table CLEANLINESS - a negative for me in that there was an old beer smell from the night before. I worked in bars decades ago and whom ever cleaned didn't do a good job MENU - very limited but definitely pub and grub WAITER - this is 5 star for sure service was exceptional. Albeit the policy there is you have to wrap your own doggie bags. APPETIZERS - the wings were dry and over cooked. The calamari was rubbery but the breading was light which is good. ENTREES - I had fish tacos and not great. The shells were soft and under cooked. There was no flavor at all. Had to add pepper and spices DECOR - very different but they have 2 big screen TV's for sports PRICE. - we had a party of 7 and with tax and tip the bill was just under $300 so not awful

We had to ask for a bigger table and was led towards the end. Very interesting menu, we had the pu'er tea, which is not very commonly offered in the Chinese restaurants in the area. Love the teapot presentation and overall the branding effort. We tried to order the soup dumpling but was told something wasn't working properly and it's going to take over an hour so next time. Got wontons in chili oil, love the flavor. The mushu pork, a little bit too sweet for me. And the beef chow fun, just can't go wrong with that, and the szichuan pot with cumin lamp. I think this more authentic Chinese but my husband felt the lamb was too oily. I requested to get the little cute cat cup for my daughter's lemonade order and they said yes, so it was a very cute touch. Very happy with the visit definitely a lot of potential we will be back.

We started off with the chili oil dumplings which were super flavorful! For entrees we got the Mongolian beef and the shrimp fried rice. Fried rice was my favorite -- didn't need any soy sauce or duck sauce bc it had enough flavor on its own. For drinks I got the lychee drink which was on the sweeter side for my personal taste. Overall, loved my experience and can't wait to go back to try more menu items.

Super surprised that it wasn't slammed. We walked right in at lunch time and were just about the only ones there. The menu is overwhelming. I feel like I'd need to eat here for like a month straight to actually try everything that I want to. My son eats like a bird so he stuck to the "basic" menu and got the cookies and cream waffle. That was breakfast, lunch and dessert all in one. They did not skip on the crushed oreos. My daughter and I needed to see some of the viral dishes for ourselves so we stuck to the Social Media section of the menu. She got the Fried Chicken Mac N Cheese burrito and I got the Smash Wrap. Neither one of us finished even half of our mains. They are huge! Bigger isn't always better but the quality was not lost in the size. They were also delicious. We both loved the mac n cheese filling. Our waitress was super sweet and when she found out we were traveling, she threw in some complimentary "famous" cinnamon sugar donuts for the ride. I forgot to get a pic of those, but they were nice and fresh, even after we waited a few hours before eating them because we just about rolled out of there after eating so much. We will have to stop back in another time to share one of the gigantic milkshakes.

They have special desserts that really are for 2-4 people not 1. They do love to celebrate birthdays with the whole staff singing! The menu is very strict and they would not just bring 1 pancake for the toddler at our table at whatever the cost or an extra bowl of fruit. Both of the items were part of a bigger meal that would have been wasted if ordered.

My first meal was the Caesar salad, which was outstanding. The poached egg was cooked perfectly with that soft, medium‑boiled center I love. The Parmesan was fresh, the dressing was balanced, and the grilled chicken was a generous, well‑seasoned portion. Simple, clean, and delicious. The ambience is a huge part of the charm -- a cozy, wood‑cabin feel with a great bar setup. You can get full service at the bar, enjoy top‑shelf drinks, and watch the TVs without it feeling like a sports bar. It's a comfortable mix of locals and travelers, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Benny behind the bar was great, and he made the experience even better with fun conversation and excellent service. For dinner, I tried the pasta with sausage, which was flavorful without being overly salty. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The mussels were a standout -- the broth was clean and delicious, with a white‑wine base, a touch of tomato, fresh herbs, and just the right kick from jalapeño. One of the best mussel dishes I've had in a while. The wine selection was also very good and paired nicely with the dishes I tried. After several meals back‑to‑back, I can confidently say this place delivers every time. Great food, great service, great vibe. I'll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a consistently excellent dining experience

Damn what a night this has been!…read more So a friend and I decided to come eat here after going to a funeral visitation for a co-worker. It was the first time in 18 years I had been to anything funeral-related, but harkening back to my childhood, we'd have food after funeral services to celebrate the life of the lost loved one, so it was a piece of me I wanted to share with my friend. Another thing that contributed to my wanting to come here is that this is a place I've been wanting to come to ever since this restaurant opened, and it went doubly so when it was named the Best Restaurant in Connecticut for 2024. The fact I finally got to go in of itself was a blessing, and I have to say that I am glad we came here. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and service was quick from start to finish. Our waiter was excellent. He was great making recommendations in effort to get us to save some money, took any questions we had with a smile, and made ordering an easy-peasy affair. Ambiance was very casual, great for any occasion really. If I ever had a date and this was where they took me, I'd be wanting a second date already. They're great for family get-togethers too. Oh, and the bathroom walls made me laugh with their witty one-liners like "Don't be a Gherk" or "Just Dill With It". So based on the recommendations we were given, we shared both of the appetizers we'd ordered: the fried pickles and the biscuits and fix-in's. The fried pickles that this place is known for were really good, very comparable to what you might get from a true Southern state. It comes with a spicy mayo, and paired together, it's divine! The biscuits & fix-ins are two large biscuits accompanied by four types of butter: salted, maple, vanilla, and the strawberry. They were all good, but we both agreed that the vanilla one was out-of-this-world, and the maple one had an authentic Vermonter taste to it. The strawberry one tastes like a strawberry cream cheese which is a good thing here, and even the salted butter was good. We each also got an entree, and I was the only one who ordered a drink. My friend had the Classic Mac & Cheese, and I had the Southwest Meat Platter as well as a Dirty Aphrodite. I love me some good ribs when I eat Southern food, and having the meats all in one, I couldn't say no to that. If I'm being honest, I came close to picking the Kentucky Porch Sipper for my drink, but the call of the Dirty Aphrodite was too big to ignore. And boy oh boy do they make the combination of pickle brine and vodka work with this drink! I don't think I've ever had vodka quite like that before, but Jacob's Pickles does it so well here! The entrees were also great. I saw the cheese pulls as my friend ate and I could tell I probably would have enjoyed that version of the classic dish. As for my dish, the ribs were tender and fell clean off the bone, tasted like a true BBQ wonder. The pulled pork was succulent, ratioed perfectly so nothing overpowers in the dish. The sausage tasted superb. The Nashville Hot Chicken was crispy, juicy, spicy without being overwhelming. The Pickle Slaw was some good Slaw. Is it the best I've ever had? No. But it's competent and definitely deserves to be called a slaw. Jalapeños and corn were great, and I even got another buttermilk biscuit to use the remaining butter we didn't use on our appetizers. All-in-all, one of the best outings I've had in a while. I mean it when I say this: Jacob's Pickles is a MUST-GO! It's that good! You won't regret it.

(Visited 3/11) Ambiance [4/5]: Minimalist style design, it's nice, Theres also pretty lighting and a good amount of seating with an open bar as well. Food: Trix latte w/ whole milk (seasonal): [4/5] Tastes like a bowl of cereal from a cup. Topped with whipped cream it's really delicious! Tastes like a cup of childhood. Theres a good anount of cereal in the cup alongside the ice so it feels like you get a good amount of sips before the drink is done. Other than that it's still pretty good nonetheless. Sin-A-Bun: [5/5] This is very delicious, it's a perfect mix of sweet and savory. The smokiness from the bacon surprisingly compliments the cinnamon roll buns. Good concept and executed perfectly. If there were an option i'd choose that over having it on the side. Surprisingly I didn't notice it on the side on the sandwich until I was half way through. Still delicious though. Challah french toast [5/5] Tasty and sweet. You can't go wrong with french toast. I added strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and Nutella drizzle (each topping is $3 extra). It was worth the price it was delicious. It came with a side of butter which compliments the sweetness of the toast and some syrup. I didn't use much of the syrup but it was still delicious when I did decide to use it! I wouldn't order this because for delivery because its one of those things that taste so much better fresh in front of you rather than waiting to he dropped off. Service: [5/5] Fast and efficient service! The restaurant works as a team. One man sat me, The middle eastern girl with the long sleeve black shirt took my order and checked on me, and the white boy with the arm tattoos and pen between his ear checked on me at times, and cleaned my table while the girl was busy. It's great to see everyone helping each other and not letting anyone suffer. I Loved it! Overall Cafe social, is a great restaurant to stop by if you plan on going to the mall. Not only is it a 8 minute walk but you're also given a great meal and overall greater experience. I see myself coming back here if I'm ever in norwalk looking for a quick bite!
