Pretty good buffet. There were no bowls for the fish soup, but I put some on my plate and ate it. Was nice and spicy. Mashed potatoes were instant. Food was overall pretty good. Nothing I had was bad. Nothing I had was amazing. My waitress was overloaded, but super nice. I really liked her. Price was not bad for a seafood buffet. I almost went back yesterday, because they were open on Easter, but made the mistake of trying a Chinese restaurant in town instead. Edit: I've eaten here a few more times, and I stand by my original assessment. It's a decent little place, nothing special. Hours are hard to pin down. They are closed a lot. Food is okay, very crowded and very expensive for what you actually get, buffet was stocked every time a tray was getting low, clean and the staff is wonderful with the big, big, big crowd, not good to have to wade through the people and wait so long to get more food or the dessert, salad bar was very small. read more

Dry Dock is one of the better buffet style restaurants in the Marion and Mullins area. They have a good variety of typical southern staples such as fried chicken, catfish, ham, Calabash fried shrimp, deviled crab, collards, mac & cheese, lima beans, and biscuits among others. Because the place is quite large and there is only one buffet table, fresh new food comes out regularly so it isn't sitting out for very long. This is definitely an efficiently run restaurant. It's not anything fancy but the food is generally pretty good for a buffet. Although I've never been there any other time than lunch during the week and Sunday after church, I understand that they do have table service when they are open in the evening. My mother chose this spot to have our family dinner. First eating here since being a kid. My dinner dates were mother, auntie & my uncle. We dined from the buffet side. Fried fish/shrimp, Hush puppies, corn-on-the-cob, greens, cornbread and iced sweet tea made our tummies very happy! The restaurant was clean and observing Covid-19 compliant. Great food, lots of laughs and good memories with family ! All staff were professional, courteous and full of happy energy! Special shot out to the following staff, Lauren, Missy and Brittany. Best restaurants around for miles. Be aware they get busy after 6 o'clock and Sundays are usually busy for breakfast. I really like the staff and service of the servers and the kitchen staff. We arrived early for Sunday lunch and were glad to see many open parking spaces near the door. However upon entering we were required to add our name to a wait list. After waiting for awhile, my husband inquired about the abnormally long wait. The hostess adamantly told him our name wasn't on the list and we had to give our name when entering. He told her we had done that and she replied that we needed to make sure she wrote it down. After her unprofessional response, we decided to leave but were approached near the door and told she had found our name and we were next. No apology. Totally unacceptable. This place was really good or service was great all the staff members were smiling and friendly. The food was hot and perfectly seasoned the seafood is truly Calabash murrells inlet style, that means lightly breaded and quickly fried. I will say that the salad bar is a little basic, and it is the first time I've ever seen canned mushrooms on a salad bar, but it was fresh salad and good iceberg lettuce only. you could have easily thought you were at a buffet in murrells inlet are Calabash the seafood was very good. read more

Southen Food 101. Stopped in for the Sunday buffet on the way home. Good, friendly service. Good price $12 a person, $6 for kids under 10. Lots of southern fried options, sweet greens and fatback. Yes, fatback! (Not a fan, BTW). Buffet was solid: Ham, turkey, fried chicken, fried shrimp, fish and stuffed crab. Baby lima beans, greens, green beans.... the food is solid southern fare. My only real complaint is the bathroom. If you have to sit down to use the toilet, you are in trouble! Toilet is tiny and about 8 inches from the front wall. Anyone over 220 pounds is going to long for spacious airplane bathroom. It's compact. read more

Every time I go by this place, it's got a big crowd. So after our round of golf at Diamond Back on Hwy 9 near Myrtle Beach, we took a side road that led us to Mullins so we could try this place out. Sunday lunch buffet is $11.50, that's total (tax included and a drink). Buffet was awesome with many choices. Popcorn shrimp, fried chicken, fish, turkey, dressing, mac & cheese, green beans, rice, brocoli & cheese casserole, hushpuppies, slaw, potato salad, sweet potato casserole and several other items. The only thing on the buffet that I didn't care much for was the deviled crab. A little plain tasting, and it needed another minute or so frying. Ice tea was delicious, and the refills kept coming. The dessert bar was probably one of the best I've ever had. Key Lime pie, banana pudding, million dollar pie, coconut pie, cherry cheesecake were great, and there were alot more, but I was just too full to try them. read more

Stopped in for lunch after leaving the beach. It's been 5 years since we have eaten here and it was packed with people. Still great food at a great price. We got the buffet and had many different items including fried squash, fish, fried chicken and much more. Anyone going through Mullins on the way to the beach need to stop and enjoy the food and the southern hospitality Well worth the trip. read more

Food was terrible. Steak cooked medium rare but totally lacked seasoning. No salt, pepper or butter. Steak was frozen, not fresh. I pay less for filet mignonette at outback and better grade food. Woman at hotel tried to convince to go elsewhere.....wish I would have l listened. Cutting quality and charging more money is horrible. read more

About me I have worked in kitchens as head chef and managed restaurants for about ten years I'm out of the business now but I know what good food is and what it tastes like. With that said when you order shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and get bottle or frozen sauce like substance over angel hair pasta, RUN. The name on the menu says fettuccine Alfredo not angel hair. Any good not great chef just a good one knows that angel hair pasta never goes with a cream sauce. No respect for passing this off, read your own menu. I asked before I sat down is it cooked fresh and I was lied too. The Garlic bread were two dry and burnt pieces of toast bread. Really. This was sixteen dollars???? WTF. I've worked with Head Chefs before and if they're is one at dry dock he should be shot for serving such... No other word for over priced crap. Crap. Crap. Crap. The buffet was fried and dry. My daughter had the frozen chicken fingers And she wouldn't touch the under cooked French fries. I was done. They'd have to burn to the ground find a real kitchen staff and new management before I went back in there again. Worst excuse for a standing restaurant. Weird thing is the parking lot at times seems so busy. HOW??? WHY??? Maybe taste buds are obsolete in this town!! FYI the one star was for the way the young waitress treated my daughter. I visited this restaurant last night and the food was great. The manager was very nice and my waitress was amazing! I had the broiled shrimp with shrimp fried rice and the salad bar. You have to try the hush puppies with the butter spread as well! I will definitely be visiting this place again when I come back to SC. Ask for Kristy. She's the best :-) read more

This place is great. We loved the Prime Rib and the Rib Eye is wonderful. I highly recommend to all to come in and try them out.

I have been coming here since I was a child and always good experience. Buffet is straight forward country cooking and fried seafood. Always a crowd for Sunday lunch but otherwise pretty good service. Surprisingly good steaks and salmon. Oysters when In season are clean and done right. read more
