Our neighbor was pleased with the service, so we had PSCC do our house. We moved all the furniture we could out the way and off all the carpet. Only thing left on the carpet was the beds, and one large, heavy, piece of furniture. I then vacuumed every bit of our carpet until the dirt sensor, on the vacuum, glowed green (indicating no dirt). Note: While the "cleaning wand" can reach a bit under the beds, the furniture could only be cleaned around. Doug H. was our "Lead Technician". I think he did a good job. Now Yelp used to call 5 stars "As good as it gets", and never having this done before, I wouldn't know. But now Yelp calls 5 stars great, and 4 stars good. And since I think a good job was done, I'll go with 4. About the only thing I didn't like is that our living room was considered two rooms, "because of the size." Also, closets are cleaned at a flat rate of $30 (which seemed high, but we did get a 2 for deal deal). When Doug finished, he turned on the ceiling fans in all the rooms. I also had cracked all the windows in all the rooms to get some fresh air. We did find one spot that needed a little extra work, but Doug did get it out. We were told to try to stay off the carpet for 6 to 8 hours, but if we had to go on it, wear white socks. I went barefoot the one time I had to get something from one of the rooms. It seemed it took a little longer to dry, but in the end we were pleased with the work done. Oh, our water supply was used, via the hose bib on the side of the house. Bottom line: And now it's almost time to list our home.

They charged an additional $15 for coming all the way out to Arlington but given the deals they offer I would rehire them again in a heartbeat. Great guys, great service. *To clear up the CL find, I've hired popular companies advertised on the radio or TV and found them to be extremely overpriced for what they offer. I had previously found a company that was equivalent to the big guys but wanted to see if I could find a better one and was glad I did. **I had a roommate with a carpet cleaner but once she moved out I started renting Rug Doctors to clean messier spots. I'd never had an issue until this past time, when, according to the 4 customer service reps I spent way too much time on the phone with afterwards, the vacuum wasn't properly working so it cycled dirty water through the carpet without picking it up. Needless to say, everywhere I "cleaned" dried a light brown color. They offered to give me a different machine for 24 hours and a new bottle of soap, but the damage was done and the stain did not lift. If nothing else, DON'T RENT A MACHINE TO CLEAN IT. Even though I'd had success with them before, they don't rinse between users or check for problems and it wasn't worth the hassle of getting the new soap and double labor only to make a bigger mess and have to hire a professional afterwards.
