While originally I enjoyed coming to this salon I have to admit I don't care for it anymore. The ambiance has changed, they only accept cash which is an inconvenience especially if you're like most people I know who don't carry cash, or if it's your first time they direct you to the ATM inside Stater Brothers next door. I walked up one day to get a trim @ 7:03p to find out that they actually close at 7p NOT @7:30p like the sign on the door says. I went in for a simple short haircut with layers and curtain bangs. I chose this place because the Yelp reviews were decent and got a choppy uneven mess. I came in during a Friday evening, very friendly service but I paid $40 for amateur hour and now I'm going to have to spend more money to get it fixed somewhere else. I originally started with hair that started above my back bra strap and wanted to end with hair above the shoulders. It came out uneven with choppy layers, I asked her to correct it and she was very nice to attempt, but in the end it's still uneven in the front and not even the length I wanted it (thankfully bc I can at least get it fixed to the length I want anyway). I give 1 extra star bc the lady was very very nice and I didn't want to stress her out with anymore changes. read more

I liked my cut. It was close to closing time and I was the only customer. Sunday mid afternoon. My only feedback was I was charged $30 for a cut on already short hair. The stylist blow dried even though it was neither requested or suggested by her. $30 for a cut is a bit much. I would return but hopefully at a more reasonable price. read more

I dropped in for a trim off my 1 year old shorter haircut from another salon. It had all sorts of crazy layers and dead ends. I explained to Lucy that I mainly wanted the bottom trimmed up evenly. She went through my whole head and took off very minimal length. When finished I was extremely pleased. She suggested I take another inch off the back, which I did. It's bouncy and looks great again. I also love her leave in conditioner that she sells in the shop. I would've given a 5 star, but I thought for 15 minutes of work the $25 was a little steep. The first time I made an appointment they quoted me the wrong price at over the phone. When they were done with the service I ended up paying $20 more than what they quoted. The second time I called, they made me an appointment for a certain time. When I shows up they said they could not help me. I had to show them my phone calls in order for them to believe me. I found this gem and I couldn't be happier! I decided to make an appointment (recommended if you don't want to wait) and I only waited about 5 min before I was seen. Her name is Alley and she did such a great job! The owner happened to be there and I received the best customer service asking if I was okay, needed water or anything. I came in and asked for a simple beach wave style , and the main lady (Lucy) said okay no problem ! She sat me down and recommended a quick wash , so after the wash she began blow drying and kept pulling on my hair and it was very hot on my scalp ! Hard to tell in this picture but it hey butchered her hair here! First off, it took her 4 minutes exactly to "cut her hair" and my little girl was still as can be, not once did she move. Hair dresser even complimented how good of a child she was just still for her haircut. After 2 minutes, she was trying to tell me she was done, I looked at it, and of course she already taken most of her hair when I asked her to trim it but mostly for her bangs. Which by the way, those also look awful! Never going here again! She did this to both my kids, but the other one has curly hair, so it's not as noticeable. I didn't want to keep telling her to even it, because every time I did, she cut more off and her version of even is NOT straight or even close to it. I'm sorry, but if you can't cut a kids hair who is still, I can't imagine you cutting hair on a kid that isn't. I rated a star because I couldn't rate zero. I typically don't go there, and don't plan to ever go there again. And... to top it off, she was trying to tell me that I didn't know what I was saying, rude! It is obvious it wasn't even. Ughh!
