I come in twice a week to see Cashay for a round brush blowout. I'm obsessed with her! Literally favorite place in the world lol

First timer here at Dry Bar. I typically go to my regular hair stylist for stuff like this but she wasn't available. Made an appointment online specifically for a morning before an event where I knew I would be in a lot of photos. Ultimately, the service boosted my confidence and got compliments, as I had hoped. I liked the stylist I worked with (Kheava, she was great) and the location itself was clean and convenient. I got the Cosmo style and would recommend my stylist specifically. But I don't know that I would come back. My initial impressions were negative, as I wasn't greeted and staff didn't seem ready for my appointment. I called on my way because I couldn't find the building (it's over by Cycle Bar) and no one answered - the ringer appeared to be turned off. Not a good look. I had an appointment (as did the lady who entered after me) and for whatever reason, there was no receptionist and the two stylists who saw me didn't say anything. I realize hair dryers are loud but we're talking zero acknowledgement. Not a good vibe. When the male stylist brought his client around from the wash room ten minutes later, he was the one to greet and welcome us. I booked here based on the company's reputation and felt the service itself wasn't up to par. Their monthly memberships aren't a bad deal but there isn't a location convenient to me on the NW side and I would expect longer lasting results - my hair only held up for the second day. When getting blow outs from my regular stylist, I can stretch it for nearly the full work week. Other recent reviews mention this as well. Also, the website and in-store signage indicate that there should be some sort of discount for first timers, but at no point was I able to find a discount code nor did anyone mention anything. Using new contact info to schedule should automatically qualify me.

Liked the music and the vibe. The wash and style was ok. I will definitely give them another try. Oh and as a bonus they do "happy hour" with $5 off your blowout Monday-Thursday from 11am-3pm

Drybar Henderson has upped their game! I won't go anywhere else anymore. Stylists are top notch, service is on time and friendly. Love it here. And as much as I want to keep her to myself - shoutout to Deana. A gem, and one of the many reasons I'm keeping my membership. Also, this place is a VIBE now.

I requested loose beach waves and instead received curly Sue curls... this was my first time at a dry bar. I also requested moisture and hydration treatment and it was merely a leave-in spray. Disappointed and will need to fix my hair for my photoshoot. Came home and brushed out my hair to hopefully loosen the waves and it just turned out flat. Doing my hair again before my photoshoot...

My stylist on April 10th 2022 did a wonderful job! HOWEVER, front receptionist 0 stars. I delayed this review because I didn't have time to dwell on this negativeness. I was about 5-10 minutes early to my appointment. I waited for my stylist to finish her guest. I waited about 10 minutes past my appointment time at 12:15pm. So at 12:25 ish I was seated with my stylist. Upon checking in I was greeted by the receptionist, she stated I was here for a blowout however in my appointment you can see I booked a dry style, I corrected her and she didn't say anything. Once I was finally seated and by the way my stylist did an amazing job per usually with dry bar stylist she literally only took 15 mins for my hair and I was out by 12:40 . I was pretty happy with my hair as usually Dry bar stylist never disappoints! Then, once I went to pay the receptionist stated my hair was wet and I never saw any communication my stylist had with the receptionist or any statement saying from my stylist I was wet. Also for reference my hair was dry but I did put some in some products due to the texture of my hair which needs the protection and extra help. But again my hair was DRY. The stylist asked if I wanted to use blow dry or straightener I said whatever you think ! I ended up being charged for a blowout. If that were the case I would have just had them do my entire wash. I have had many other blowouts and dry styling and was super disheartened with the dishonesty of the receptionist and horrible communication. I didn't let this bad location/receptionist ruin my love for Dry bar. However I will never support this location. I tried to contact Dry bar to speak about it but there's no contact information and you have to just speak to the specific location which obviously won't solve any issues that arises.

Overall, I always enjoy my experience at this Drybar. The staff is friendly and professional and really works to achieve the look you are going for. My stylists have always made great conversation and I have always enjoyed my interactions with them. The interior is gorgeous. I am only giving four stars for two reasons: First, the last few times I have visited, the temperature when they wash the hair changes drastically mid-wash. It will go from hot to cold on it's own. My stylist did apologize for this, but seeing as though this has happened on multiple occasions, it should probably be looked into. Secondly, my curls don't seem to last when I go to Drybar. This is not specific to just this location- it may be the products themselves... I'm not sure what the issue is. When I see my normal hair stylist or if I do my hair myself my curls last a few days- certainly longer than one night. My hair feels great and I can always add curls again. I just have had better hold of styles at other Dry bar salons in town personally so I cannot give it a true 5.

Can dry bar, blow out thick long African American type 4 Hair?

Would i be able to bring my own haircare products for my wash & blow out?

No, but drybar has amazing products free of harsh chemicals and safe for all hair types.

I have two type of extensions. I have about 6 clip ins, and I also have a "halo" extension. Do you work with these types as well and if so, is there an additional fee?

They will work with them and can put them in for you and it's $20 add on fee!

What is the direct email and telephone number to this store? I had a incident happen today that is very serious. The manager was supposed to email me with the details and claims from the stylist Drew, but I have not recived anything .

Hi Ashley, We see that the District Manager had reached out via the contact information we have…

    Do they take walk ins?

I have tried walking in twice and they weren't able to take me. I think it also depends on the location and day of the week. I wouldn't try walking in fri-sun

This looks nowhere close to a naturally blended balayage. YOU can tell yourself whatever you need…read moreto in order to justify not correcting this but this was devastating to me. In addition you have always maintained that you "did exactly as I requested." And no ma'am you did not. I wanted a natural looking, neutral toned balayage and this is not that. My hair was different colors of blonde and very warm. Yes when I was in the salon I said I loved it. After being there for several hours I was tired and ready to leave. This was not a simple "I put my hair in a pony tail and didn't like it." You charged me $500 to destroy my hair and I've had to have it redone twice to move away from the brassy mess you left my hair. NOW after having spent another $1,000 on my hair it's how I would like it to be. You're not the stylist you think you are. You should truly be ashamed. I could easily take this to small claims but I'd rather call it a loss and hopefully you improve your skills and don't do this to anyone else. Alsssooooo....the tone and demeanor you've had towards this issue that anyone can read in your reply is that it's MY FAULT and you just did what I requested....Nope, this is nothing close to what I wanted. And you leaving the salon in the middle of a service to go to your house and feed your kids is unprofessional. Take a look at the photos and let me know if anyone asking for a naturally blended balayage with a neutral blonde would be happy with this. Absolutely no one is shaming you for being a working mom. I'm sorry you took offense to that. However, leaving the salon while a client is processing is unprofessional. Using your kids as an excuse for unprofessional conduct isn't okay. I've been a working mom for 16 years. In addition I know you attempted to jab at me by saying "bouncing around stylists" and that isn't the scenario here. Since getting my hair done by you I was able to find someone highly skilled that could tackle the work you did. I'm thankful for that and for her patience. I wouldn't have even posted this review however your system sent me a text alerted me on how to book my next appointment and I found it funny. You should have taken me off your client list but I can't be surprised at your lack of attention to detail as it seems to be a pattern. If anything I said had no merit then you wouldn't be offended. ****ALSO you will never admit to your greed and lack of skill and that's okay. Unfortunately this will probably happen again with another client but hopefully next time you don't let your ego get the best of you. Also, maybe communication is a skill you should aim to improve on. I mentioned I COULD take you to small claims but honestly I rather just take the loss. So when you say "you can take me to small claims if you want." Girl, of course I can. But if you would listen instead of hearing what you want to hear it's not worth it for me. Attention to detail and communication is taught through accountability and self reflection in case you were unsure where to start. And just to be clear girly pop, I ALWAYS wanted a well blended neutral blonde balayage. Nothing about this ever changed. I know WHAT YOU SAY you're an expert in and that's why I went to you. When I chose the girl who did my hair after you I put much more effort, time and research into making sure I could protect the integrity of my hair the best I could and find someone who could do what I wanted. You don't offend me when you mention you could have gotten me there for less. It's a silly thing to say. You should have gotten me there for $500. I can and will make more money. I hope you handle situations like this better next time so someone else doesn't end up feeling as bad as I did about the way my hair. Best wishes

Being taught how to better care for my hair at home. From styling techniques to color longevity, I really appreciate the expert advice tailored to my hair type and goals. 3. I tend to write more detailed reviews about hair salons because my hair has always been a big deal for me. I have very curly, frizzy, coarse hair that tends to puff up and look much fuller than it actually is. It is definitely not the kind of curly hair that naturally falls into pretty, defined curls. Without blow-drying or straightening, it can get very unruly and hard to manage. I have been dealing with this hair for decades, so I have had more haircuts, blowouts, straightening treatments, and salon visits than I can count. Because of that, I can usually tell when someone really understands how to work with difficult curly hair. I wore short hair when I was younger, but after a bad experience, I avoided it for decades. About six months to a year ago, I decided to try a bob again. At first, I felt like the only way I could really manage it was by getting a straightening treatment about every six months. Since I also color my hair, I did not want to keep combining coloring and chemical straightening because of the damage it can cause over time. I decided to keep coloring my hair and stop the straightening treatments. Once more of my natural curl started growing back, though, the bob became harder and harder for me to manage. I was honestly starting to think I might have to give up on short hair and grow it out again. That was around the time I found this salon. What has impressed me most is how much easier my bob has been to manage since coming here, even without going back to regular straightening treatments. I am not especially skilled at styling my own hair, but after shampooing, I can now blow-dry and straighten it at home much more easily. The cut itself makes a huge difference. It also grows out really well, which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. -- What really stands out to me is how well Risa listens. -- At every visit, she takes the time to ask how my previous haircut worked for me, what I liked, and whether there is anything I would like to change. I really appreciate that she listens to my feedback instead of simply repeating the same cut. I loved the shape of my last bob, but the back had been cut very short with clippers. Because my hair is coarse and pretty stiff, those very short hairs felt uncomfortable against the back of my neck as they grew out. Since I had not worn my hair this short in decades, I simply did not know my hair would react that way. I mentioned it to Risa, and this time she adjusted the cut and used mainly scissors and thinning shears instead of cutting the back so closely with clippers. I really appreciated that she listened to both what I liked about the previous cut and what I wanted changed. Most importantly, I love my bob again. The shape is clean, balanced, flattering, and very easy for me to manage. I also enjoyed the shampoo service. The brief scalp massage felt really relaxing and refreshing, and the salon itself always has a calm, comfortable atmosphere. My husband had his haircut again too, and his cut came out clean and polished, just like the previous visits. After three visits, it definitely does not feel like we simply got lucky once. The results have been consistently good for both of us. For me, a haircut that grows out well and stays manageable for two or three months, sometimes close to four, is absolutely worth the investment. Being able to maintain my bob this easily without relying on regular straightening treatments makes it even more valuable. That is why I keep coming back, and why I take the time to leave reviews. After our third visit, I feel even more confident recommending Risa.

For me it was about $80 for a wolf cut and $600 for a full bleach and colors for me. I only did the haircut for now, as the color price was way too much out of my budget. After the message, I did the booking online at their website, which was pretty simple to do, and the deposit was only $30. I came in and was greeted by someone right away and led to the back to get a robe on over my clothes and then right away to the shampooing station. Then hop on to the salon chair. I showed my stylist the inspo pictures I wanted, and he got to cutting right away. Now, I'm painfully shy, and I've usually been to other salons where everyone is talking and the stylists are chatty, but here it is super quiet. So it wasn't a good salon for me, as I find it hard to speak up unless spoken to first, but everyone was nice, and the haircut was fine and pretty fast. If you want a quick and quiet haircut for a decent price, I would go here.
