What a killer idea for a business. Because when your dryer won't work, it feels like an emergency! David came out on the same morning we inquired, quickly diagnosed why the dryer was dead, and was back the next day with the right piece in hand to make the repair. Note to self: throw away the Linteater dryer vent brush kit. I saw some YouTube videos on cleaning lint in a dryer vent and ended up getting the brush stuck in my vent. I contacted various vent companies looking for vent replacement and it seemed like only Dryer Emergency could do it. Setting up the estimate appointment with Mary via email was easy. David came by right on time and quickly suited up and analyzed what was needed and the options. After a trip to HD, he replaced the vent along the whole 20 ft+ length. our dryer stopped spinning somehow so we called this business for help. we were able to schedule for service on the very next day, and the technician arrived on time in the time window they provided. the technician (David) was able to quickly disassemble the dryer, locate the issues (broken wheel connected to the motor) and replace the wheels with the new ones he had in the van. he also cleaned up all the dusts everywhere in the dryer and installed a new exhaust hose for us for free, although it was technically not his responsibility. he also sanitized the dryer after working on it. we appreciate the high-quality service! glad that our dryer is working again. read more

I had an incredible experience with the Dryer Emergency "family." Our dryer stopped working unexpectedly and I called an appliance repair shop I had used in the past - no one answered the phone, so I left a voicemail. When I called Dryer Emergency, Mary picked up immediately and offered to have a technician come to our home the same day. The appointment was too soon for me, so she sent the team the next day because it was more convenient for us. She was friendly and clear in what I could expect with regards to the diagnosis. David, who I assume is a project manager, and the technician arrived and were both kind and respectful. After their thorough dryer exam, they shared that a part would need to be ordered and shipped. Both David and Mary set my expectations around how long it would take to receive the part and assured me that as soon as it arrived, the appointment for repair would be set. (I finally heard back from the other repair shop by the time the new part was en route). Within a shorter time frame than I expected, the part arrived and David and his technician returned to repair the dryer (successfully!). I was happy knowing my dryer wasn't headed toward the landfill. The entire process was stress-free and friendly. I needed to get my dryer venting cleaned as it was pretty clogged with lint potentially creating a fire hazard. The technician showed up on time and quickly gave me an estimate and finished the job promptly. He also opened up my dryer to clean out the cavity where the lint filter goes in as there was a lot of debris there including coins, buttons etc. He also mentioned that the dryer was making an odd sound indicating that the roller bearings under the drum were worn out. He promised to send me a separate estimate to fix that in case I was interested. I highly recommend them! read more

This company is amazing and David is awesome! I called on a Sunday morning. I thought I would just leave a message. I had a return phone call within the hour. David showed up a couple hours later right on time. He even called to give me a 20 minute heads up! He evaluated the problem, informed me of what he thought it would cost and then got to work. He did everything possible to give me the best deal and to ensure my brand new (1 day old) dryer would work with the new vents!!!!! My 20+ year old dryer stopped drying (only cold air). I dreaded the idea of getting a new dryer because I've heard they don't last as long. They were able to come out the next day and David replaced the thermostat and also told me to be sure to check my exhaust tubing at least once a year because it was wayyy to impacted which caused the dryer to overheat. Requested a quote via Yelp at 1am and when I got up at 8am they had already responded with when they can come out for same day or next. I went with same day and they were onsite by 11am. Did professional work running a long brush through the entire system and and vacuumed up the lint on both sides. Also did a pressure test to check air flow. All in all, totally worth it given my dryer has stopped drying due to 32 years of blockage build up. Worth it. read more
