I sent a panicked request for a dryer repair late in the evening. I provided the information about the repair needed. I knew what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. All of the replies said they charged a diagnostic. I replied and stated that I knew what the problem was and UJ was the only one that provided me a specific quote for the exact repair the dryer needed. He was reasonable, showed up on time. I was out and my son was at home, as a result he sent me pictures and video of the repair and it working. He also advised me about future care for the dryer. He did a great job. Everyone has their areas of strength. Very appreciative of UJ Appliance for coming out as scheduled. I was very clear about the service request was converting a gas appliance to propane. In the end he was able to take the piece out that we were not able to, that in itself was helpful, but clearly could not finish the project. For us safety is always first so we paid him for coming and removing the appliance part, but had another company with experience in dryer conversions finish the job. read more

Umid did a great job on my dryer. The dryer wasn't drying clothes very effectively so he opened the entire machine to vacuum out all the lint. He didn't have another extra vent on him at the time so he came back two days later to replace the vent with a new one. Dryer is super hot after that. They came out on short notice to diagnose my refrigerator and quickly identified that the main control board had failed and wasn't powering the unit properly. They ordered the part right away and returned just a couple of days later to complete the repair. Everything was resolved exactly as they said it would be. I also asked them to check on an LED light inside the refrigerator that wasn't working. They initially explained it might be related to the control board, but after the board was replaced, we realized it was a separate issue. He advised me to purchase the light part directly and call him to schedule the installation. When he came back to replace it, he didn't even charge me for the labor.
