I had an issue with an electric door strike that wasn't opening properly. I emailed Daniel and he got back to me very quickly. A part that costs 15$ from a supplier cost 75$. That markup wouldn't seem too bad if it weren't for the 250$ for an onsite rekey of an existing lock. That's basically a 30$ service (at most) and a 220$ service call. This all occurred during normal business hours on a weekday. Seemed deceitful about pricing. I asked Daniel to assess our front door security, as I thought our lock was flimsy. He recommended and installed a Schlage Multi-Lock, which is super-high residential security, including a non-pickable, non-duplicable key and nearly indestructible dead bolt and housing. He also changed out the part where the deadbolt goes into the frame so that it's deeply secured with six long screws rather than the standard two shorter screws.
