One morning I was driving to work when all of a sudden my truck started to overheat. I was trying to head back home before anything bad happened to my motor but couldn't make it as it started to overheat really bad. I pulled over and called a friend who referred me to Sammy's Towing and Service. I called and right away Sam answered me, he asked for location and without question came to me. He checked the vehicle to see if there was a possible temporary solution. Unlike others that just see easy money. He was friendly and helpful. I ended up asking him if he could drop it off at my residence and without any questions he drove my truck and me home for a great reasonable price. I couldn't have been any happier with his service. My State Farm assistant contacted Ken and he arrived really quickly. My Avalanche had a wheel issue and we couldn't go in reverse. Our spare tire was useless. Never used and about 13 years old. Ken knew what the problem was, so he and my husband went to his shop for a part. While there, he found he had a decent tire on a chrome rim that would fit my truck, so they brought that back. Fixed the problem, put the tire and chrome rim on, and everything was perfect. Ken is the nicest guy you'd ever meet. It was his birthday, and he still took time to help us. Wurtz, I think not…read more I work for the USPS. today I was stuck in the snow while delivering packages/mail so our customers/citizens can get what they order even on sundays. today was another nasty day weather wise. The wind was 50MPH and the road and drive ways were icy. So I tried to enter a driveway that had a hill. I didnt go far until I realized, no way. However, backing out was another story and I got stuck in the ice/snow and could not get out. I called the office who called Wurtz. When the trucker arrived he rediculed me by asking if I new my vehicle was a rear wheel drive? and stated, did you really think it would get up that hill? So I am not frustrated enough but then to get sarcasm from the tow truck driver? Come on! Next time I will use Davis!
