DSW is a really easy-to-shop store. The women's and men's sections are clearly separated as well as the casual, dressy and sneaker section. I was able to find the section I wanted quickly and look at all the styles available....then, I went down the column to find my shoe size and tried the shoe...easy as 1,2,3. I am always in awe when I shop at DSW. This past week, I again enjoyed the shopping experience at the DSW in Warwick, RI, due to two wonderful employees. As I began my shopping tour, I needed assistance as to where to find a particular brand as well as some items for my husband. Kristen, who was very busy stocking and organizing on the floor, was kind and helpful enough to escort me to each location rather than send me walking up and down the numerous aisles. When I decided upon what I was planning to purchase, I found that my size in the shoes I loved was not available, Ishi, the cashier, began the ordering process. She guided me in finding information and coupons on my phone. She was well-versed, knowledgeable and patient. Two great employees along with a fabulous manager who always makes himself available to greet customers as well as advise them when asked. Keep up the great work! read more

I want to say I usually have no issues with dsw but on 01/22/25 I had to use the bathroom and I now see thy are locked and you have to go ask for a code to get in. Well I wish I didn't have to go but the bathroom was so disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days - the toilets were all stuffed with paper and clogged and the floors were dirty as well as the sinks. there was only one soap dispenser that was hardly working and both soap dispensers looks as if they were rusting and rotting off the walls. This is really unacceptable and should be attended to on a regular basis. Shame on you DSW Warwick. This is a total embarassment. I would post photos but no one wants to see that.... read more

Love! For sure love it here! Whenever I need shoes, for some reason I always forget about DSW and then when I do remember, I end up getting my shoes at DSW. I used to go to a different location, until I found this hidden gem. It's in a plaza with a ton of other places but plenty of parking. I walked in recently and couldn't believe my eyes, they had women's and men's Gucci sneakers, slides and a ton of other name brand shoes. I was startled and saw the prices and immediately asked for help, because I wanted to see if they had my size available. Originally I was going to this location for birthday heels, which I DID find but I ended up getting a lovely pair or Gucci sneakers as Well. I love this! This location is so clean, and there's soooooo much to look at, so many styles and the employees are awesome. Let's recognize the sweetie Heather, she helped me get my shoes and heels, she was patient with me and she tried to find my size in several name brands until we came across one, which I got. She helped me sign up for DSW rewards which in turn helped me get a discount on my shoes and so many points which gave me bucks!! The lovely manager Jeremy was also very kind and held my sneakers for me while I was shopping to grab my heels and accessories. I really do enjoy my experiences every time I come here. They always have deals and the customer service is great! read more

Showed up at DSW tonight at 8:30. I walked up to the door and the girl told me they were closed. She said the registers were shut down and they were waiting for their rides. The hours online and on the door clearly state they are open until 9. Ridiculous. read more

The service was absolutely terrible. All of the employees in the building just completely ignore you and pretend that you are not even there. Also the selection is not great especially if you are a man with a foot size of 11 and higher. All of the actual good footwear that I actually liked and would wear, didn't have my size every single time. Not that any employees even came up to me and asked me if I needed help or asked my size and went in the back to look for me. They do none of that. The entire store would be better off being g ran by robots. Even a robot would be more personable than the actual people who work at this establishment. Absolute garbage. read more

Shoes, sandals, boots, socks, pocketbooks, wallets, etc, This is a giant store full of men's and women's footwear. Brand names without the high end prices. Of course the quality is not the same as if you were buying $500 shoes, but for $100 or less, you get a large selection. Whether you are looking for work, casual, or a night out, you are sure to find something here. Wide widths are available in many styles. I don't always find what I am looking for, but it's certainly worth a look. For me, super high heels are out, but I still like a cute 'out on the town' low heel shoe, which is often hard to find. I would like to see more cute dress shoes with a lower heel. Also love a comfy, cute work shoe. Who says work shoes have to be boring or hurt your feet? There's such a big selection here. I often find something to fit the bill. read more

I love the store, but They never have my size!! It's a well managed store lots of great styles , boots, sandals, sneakers. Just not my size! They do have every occasion to choose from . Handbags tights ,shoes , boots and cute accessories . I still keep going back hoping to strike it big ! It's location is great it's near a nice eatery and Ulta beauty. Huge parking area. I love shopping at this store because they have such an incredible selection and variety of sizes. I think I know what I want to buy when I go there but then I see so many new styles and colors and heel heights that I have to try everything on and then narrow it down to the shoes that I really need. If I could buy the ones that they have that I really want I would have way too many shoes. It is nice how they display the shoes so that you can walk up-and-down the aisles in see 1 or 2 aisles over on each side because it is huge and you really need to see them all to make a decision. The only concern than I ever have there is that I can't ever find someone on the floor to help me. The day that I went was a sale day and they were overwhelmed with customers and there was a huge line so I understood that but it is typical that it is difficult to find someone to give you service on the floor. But it's a great place to shop and a nice place to get ideas for new styles. read more

Outstanding selection of many trend shoes. Came in for a new pair of boots and found appear that I really loved. Was quite busy as a sale was going on and the store was a little on the messy side. But I realized it was because of the amount of customers that are constantly trying on shoes and not putting them back probably. Was disappointed I could not get my free gift as they were out. I receive coupons in the mail for free things but whenever I go there they never have them and they told me they just ran out. But I love the shoes so I will continue to go there read more

For a shoe store they have barely any selection of men's dress shoes. Not only that but they didn't have anything close to my size. And on top of it all there weren't any staff to be found to check in the back for me. read more

Who doesn't like shoes? Seriously, no matter what you do, you pretty much need to outfit your feet and this is the place to do it. Lots of styles, although hit or miss on sizes. My only complaint is that the men's section and selections are so much smaller than the women's - yes, I understand that this is based in on who buys more, etc. Lots of parking. Easy access. Clean. Yes this is like my dream come true- aisles and aisles of shoes, all styles, colors, designers and all at reasonable prices. Seriously, you get a workout just browsing. I arrived 30 minutes prior to closing in search of the perfect sandal. While I loved the shoes and the prices, there were some aspects of the customer servcie that were a bit annoying. 1. There were like 20 salespeople in the store and they seemed to be following behind everyone re-adjusting the displays immediately after we walked away from them. 2. At 850 a salesgirl went up to every customer to tell them they are closing in less than 10 minutes- okay!!! I get it, you want us out. 3. The cashier at the register became angry with me that I was not interested in signing up for a rewards card. Every way that I said no thank you she had a reason why I should just say yes. I will be back because, like I picture my heaven- it is an endless arena of fashion options- I would like to offer this feedback to the store however because even though the shoes numbed my annoyance, they could substitute the overcompensated customer service with a cocktail. read more

I love shoes, but for me, this place is hit or miss. With my small foot size, I can either get an awesome deal, or leave with absolutely nothing. If you have an average size foot, like a 7 you will probably be in your glory. I like to hit the clearance rack in the back of the store first, as I have got some amazing deals on pumps, and sneakers. The nice thing about DSW is they have a rewards card and the points can add up quickly. I probably receive a $10 off coupon 2 or 3 times a year which is a nice surprise to receive in the mail. It can be a little overwhelming because there is a HUGE selection but I like that the shoes are categorized by style, flats with flats, heels with heels, you get where I'm going with this. Now if your a man.... the selection is much smaller. read more

Sometimes I go in there and buy 3 pairs of shoes for under $100 because there was an amazing sale other times this place is a giant store full of ugly shoes. I went here today and nothing peaked my interest. Maybe it is just me? Maybe there are too many options and I get overwhelmed? Today I almost bought at $40 purse, but it had three sections and I do not need to become one of those giant purse hoarder women. I know I have the potential so I just did not even go there. I am a size 7 shoe so I rarely have issues finding my size but I could see how others might as from what I can tell is not always a lot of variety in the sizes available. They keep the store clean and have a pretty large clearance section and everything for dress shoes for weddings to sneakers. I am always down for a trip to DSW because what women doesn't love a place where you can just shop aisles of never ending shoes? read more

I just left DSW in Warwick with my two girls. We arrived at 6:55. We did not know walking into the store that it closed at 7:00. I thought the store was open to 8:00- my mistake. As we walked into the store a women with brownish red hair greeted us to let us know that the store was closing. She said it in a way that made my girls and I look at each other not knowing if we should walk further into the store. My older daughter said we still have 5 min, so we moved forward and went on our mission quickly to look for shoes for an event for my daughter. The employee was kind of cold and clearly was not pleased we entered 5 min Before closing. I respect the fact that the store was closing and made my daughter quickly run around to see if anything caught her eye. This woman continued to glare at us. We were not the only customers in the store. She was rude and made us completely uncomfortable. We did leave the store pretty quickly, did not linger or purchase anything. Other customers left after us. I am sharing as I feel annoyed by this DSW employee, but still gave it 3 stars as I do shop there frequently and I have had no other issues. read more
