Debris all over dirty microfiber towel used to scratch my screen
    Fernando I.

. So I have a 2017 iMac 27 inch and I called this place because I had a fusion drive in my Mac that basically wasn't any good anymore so I needed him to replace my hard drive. We agreed on a 2 TB hard drive for $250, I came in and I dropped off my iMac. He said it would take a day. OK a day passes my Mac is ready I'm excited I come in. I have my card in hand ready to pay for the services. I was like great I'm gonna make sure I leave a good Yelp review. If everything went well he said yes everything went great. I said OK I'll leave you guys a positive review. Then some guy comes from the back brings my iMac sits on the table I take a look at it and my screen has scratches everywhere whatever they use to clean my screen has scratches all over. the guys laughing like I'm crazy or something saying they were probably there already. I told them there were no scratches at all, you can clearly see that my screen has been cleaned. He then explained to me that they used the micro fiber towel to wipe it down. So then he brings the towel out. I take a look at it there's debris all over it. So I explain to him that you cannot leave these towels out because they pick up debris and you can clearly see that they have been reusing the same towel. There was debris all over it then wipe my screen with that towel he's telling me I don't know they were already there or take it home and clean it. I'm explaining to him there's nothing to clean these are scratches they're in the screen they caused it. He gave me a $30 discount like are you serious I paid and left because I didn't know what to do. I paid $230 for a hard drive replacement and to have my screen all scratched up. I cannot believe this I am so upset over this, I spent so much money on this computer. I was so excited so happy to have it back then I see all the scratches like what do I do now this is so unprofessional and just so messed up I would never recommend this place to anybody he was unsympathetic and all he could offer me $30 off? Keep your 30$ and go buy some brand new microfiber towels, so this doesn't ever happen again.

Got my laptop screen fixed and it's like new again!

I found this place and got the screen fixed on my laptop because I had a big crack. They fixed it fast and it's like brand new. I've been using them for a few years anytime I need something fixed on my Apple products. You can't go wrong bringing your items here.

I came in looking for some help upgrading my current rig, and he was incredibly courteous, polite, and patient with me while I asked what probably felt like a million questions. I'm pretty computer illiterate when it comes to a lot of this stuff, and he took his time explaining everything without ever making me feel rushed or like I was bothering him. This is actually my third time coming back to this Central Computers, and experiences like this are exactly why. They've helped me build my NAS, they've helped me repair my rig, and now they're helping me upgrade it. Every time I've come in, the staff has been kind, helpful, and willing to take the time to actually work with me. It's just nice having a computer store where I know I can walk in, ask questions, and get genuine help from people who know what they're doing And not feel like I'm some kind of bother or they don't know what they're talking about. Thank you again, Antonio. I really appreciate your patience and all the help today. God bless.

I was literally asked when I walked in if I wanted to walk out with a gaming PC that day. You would think that would be the easiest sale in the world. Unfortunately, the customer service was terrible. I spent time looking at two computers and reading the brochures, which I could have done myself online. The employee helping me didn't seem knowledgeable enough to answer basic questions or actually guide me toward the right system. Meanwhile, another employee who clearly seemed more knowledgeable was standing there discussing computer specs with the employee instead of talking directly to the customer standing there with $3,000 ready to spend. At that point, I just walked out. I hope when people talk about AI eventually taking over jobs, they're talking about experiences like this. Not because I want people to lose their jobs, but because a customer should not have to teach themselves everything and then walk into a computer store just to have someone ring up the box they already picked out. If you've already done all your homework, know exactly what you want, and just need someone to hand you a receipt, maybe this place works for you. But if you're looking for someone who can actually listen to what you need, explain the differences between systems, answer questions, and help you make a $3,000 purchase, I'd look elsewhere. Terrible experience. I walked in ready to buy and walked out with my money. That's a pretty significant failure in customer service.

I was asked if I wanted expedited service and of course I said "yes" to the charge of $99 since I needed it turned around fast. On Friday I called to find out the status and was told that it needed to be "opened" and if I approved (another charge) with no commitment as to when it would be fixed. Saturday was the tech's day off and they are not open on Sunday so no apparent rush to fix it. On Monday I was asked if I needed the data. I had originally said "no" because I had my data backed up on Carbonite. I asked about the Apps that I had and the tech said they would be wiped as well so I decided to save the data and apps. This was a $199 charge to "determine if the data was salvageable" by testing the SSD. I was then called and told that yes, the SSD was salvageable and there would be a $599 charge to recover it. Each step was a dagger because I needed my computer and the data/apps so I approved the charges. I finally got my computer back on Monday afternoon with a $1,600 bill feeling like I should have just bought a new computer and put up with reinstalling my apps. I got the computer home, hooked into my system and it worked fine. The next morning it was dead again. I hooked it up to a spare charger (bypassing the powered hub) and the computer was back to life. The entire problem was my hub charger! At no time was I advised that a charger might have been the problem and was instead overcharged for work that wasn't needed (probably not even opened to get to the SSD that I was bill around $800 for testing and recovery.) THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF! I'm thinking of reporting them to the BBB. Update on 08/14/26: Eddy from ClickAway reached out to explain the services that were performed on my laptop. After his explanation I am now better informed of the work and charges and better appreciate what was needed to get it restored to working order. I updated my original rating based on an agreement to reduce the price of data restoration. I am looking forward to a continued relationship with ClickAway.

One of the worst I've ever experienced. I can't believe that Apple actually contracts them to work with their customers. The tech has no sense of customer service. He was very rude in the way that he greeted me, spoke to me and helped me. He had a bit of an attitude from the very start and it gave me the impression that he did not want to either work with me or he was frustrated and stressed out. I tried to overlook it, however by the time I was about to hand over my phone. I just couldn't give my money to a business who treats their customers in the manner of which I was treated. I really needed my phone battery to be changed as I am traveling tomorrow morning. However, given the treatment that I did, I much rather sacrifice and wait until I get back from my trip. I'm big on customer service and believe that when you treat your customer as well they return and make referrals. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming to the shop Apple authorized or not. I plan to give Apple a phone call and share my experience with them as well. And by the way, this wasn't my first encounter at the shop. I remember going there years ago to get my son's iPad fixed and after today, I was reminded why I left and took my business elsewhere. I was trying to give them another chance, but they ruined it for me altogether.
