A complete waste of money. I had a terrible experience at this salon, and I am never going back. They work is far from the Professional. First, the consulting was frustrating. The staff member didn't speak English and kept repeating "sugar" to upscale my service, even though I clearly chose the basic menu for the cuticle and heel care. The nail shaping was done poorly. I asked for a round shape, but it was rough and uneven. Even after I pointed it out, the technician failed to fix it properly until I took a photo on my phone to show the sharp spot. The cuticle removal was also poorly executed. During the pedicure, they skipped a hard patch of skin on my toe. When requested to clean it, the technician made excuses. They then proceeded to watch the TV while working on my feet, rubbing the wrong spot, which caused pain. Finally, before completing my service, the technician left to attend to another customer. Up on inspecting my nails, I noticed the tip were missing the top coat. They do not listen to customer feedback and lack basic technical skills. This service is definitely not worth paying for. read more

i went it to get a super basic set, long almond with a white french. I show her the inspo and she proceeds to make them shorter, I had to tell her twice she didn't fix it instead she took them off and charged me 5 dollars for what i would call her mistake. She tried to do them, they came out nothing like the inspo which i kept referring her too and i had to keep telling her to fix the frenchie and the shape. I hate my nails. One of the most reasonably priced salons in the area! I called in the morning and was able to secure a same day appointment for an after work pedicure. I believe its $35 for the most basic gel, and I opted for the next option up at $40 to include a scrub. The service was efficient and comfortable, and the salon is clean and welcoming. My pedi is still holding strong with no chips and I got my service done a month ago. I'll definitely be back! read more

I have been coming to DTnails since they opened in fremont. I have always loved my nails after leaving but recently have received extremely poor service. I went to get GelX nails for valentines day and while making an appointment I waited over 30 minutes to get helped. While waiting another walk in came in complaining about a broken nail and she was helped first. After I got my nails done I loved the design, but within a few days my nail broke off completely. Living in san jose, I drove 20 minutes again a few days later to get it fixed. They kindly fixed it and did not charge me but a few days later both my index finger nails popped off again. At this point I don't want to drive back to fremont to get this fixed. I paid $100 for these nails that could not even last a week. It was overall so disappointing and I no longer want to come to DTnails. read more

10/10. I came on a Thursday and it was fairly busy. I got gel manicure and I did not like it. It was chunky and uneven. It happens. I made another appointment to fix it I was attended right away and free of charge. Everyone is so nice in there. You can tell they care about their clients. They were giving out gifts for christmas to their regulars. The vibe was great. I will come back for sure. Highly recommend. read more

They did a very sloppy job with my nails. It was pathetic , cut uneven and extremely short. I came in with a much better nail size and came out in a very bad shape . When I expressed my frustration to the owners - they did not even acknowledge or apologize for the messy nails. Even my feet were done badly by their employee. If there can be -5 stars I would give that. Poor service and unwilling to take my feedback. I was willing to pay for the pedicure but she insisted I take out the nail polish before I leave. I called and got in same day my cousins nails looked terrible the lady didn't cover the whole nail and the builder gel had holes in it and I got my toes done and my big toe now is throbbing a day later it's red and it hurts to the lightest touch I'm hopping she only created a ingrown toenail and not a infection we shall see and she put rhinestones on the big toe by the cuticle and the rhinestones aren't lined up evenly and she did ask me if it looked good I replied yes as from what I could see as I am pregnant and couldn't get my leg high enough to inspect them I will say though there are some lovely ladies who go in here as I had my 4 year old with me and pregnant it was hard to keep her entertained and everyone was talking to my daughter one lady even asked if she could talk to my daughter and she went and sat with my daughter till it was time for her nails and that to me was the best but I honestly won't come back here due to my big toe throbbing and super red a day after getting my toes done read more

They were able to take me in ASAP since i came right at opening and CALLED before hand (always call first! They answer and are so helpful!) The owner, "T" is an amazing nail specialist. I can only go to her for pedicures because my toe nails tend to be ingrown and I've always been sensitive to getting them shaped. She makes the whole experience so relaxing and I've never cringed when she does my pedicures. I also really enjoy watching them do the long acyclic nails on other people because they are quite the artists! They also are skilled with the newest techniques and use the newest and latest tools. Wish I didn't have to write this review but there were many opportunities to change the outcome and they never took them I came in on new years eve to get some sparkly gel nails done, and was greatly disappointed. The bottle was supposed to have both small sparkles (which it had lots of) and big ones (which it barely had any). When she first put the nail polish on and showed me I asked her why it looked different from the nail book (especially that there were no large pieces of glitter/sparkle), and she said after 3 coats it would be fine. As she continues on she keeps showing me the nails to ask if I am okay with them and I keep asking her how to make it look like the nail book. She didn't have any suggestions. I asked if we could change the color to another sparkly one or use sparkles from another bottle and she said no. In the end she still charged me full price for something very different from the nail book. For reference it was #236 in the gel nail book. Whoever last used the nail polish bottle knew that it was low on the large glitter pieces and still put it back, rather than ordering a new one. read more
