It's always a pleasure coming here. Lucy and Anna are super welcoming, friendly and do a fabulous job at a reasonable price. I have been coming here since 2007 and am so thankful the pandemic did not put them out of business. Their shop is always super clean, and even now with covid precautions in place. There are plexi screens separating you and them as they work on you. I went in for a pedicure as they always do a fantastic job on my awful runner's feet. Anna did an awesome job. $28 to pretty up my gnarly feet is a total steal! The color always lasts a long time and doesn't chip. With the exception of being away on travel, this is the only place I come to to pretty up my nails. I'll occasionally get my eyebrows threaded here as well. I highly recommend this place! read more

If you are hesitating going back to Nails Perfection because of concerns about Covid, rest assured. I have been there twice since Anna and Lucy reopened and I can tell you it is totally safe. Anna and Lucy have always emphasized cleanliness and their care has ramped up to another level. Masks are required. When you walk in the door, your temperature is taken and a log is kept. There are plexiglass shields between each customer and Anna/Lucy- even at the pedicure stations. All chairs are covered in disposable plastic that is removed after each customer and each chair is sanitized. Lucy and Anna wear gloves and masks at all times. All stations have been moved so they are at least six feet apart. There are never more than two clients in the salon at any time and all clients are at least six feet apart from each other. Do yourself a favor- relax and get those nails and toenails done. You know you want to!!! read more

She focused solely on me, as I was the only customer there, but definitely not for lack of quality! Apparently there was a game on so everybody was at that LOL. This isn't your posh nail salon, just the bare basics, and the prices reflect that, they are great! If you're looking for quality nails, without all the glamour and bling of your more expensive nail salons, this is a great place to go! Usually, I go to places in San Jose while I'm at school, but since I was at home in Fremont during break, I didn't want to make the drive to get my nails done. They told us they usually provide services by appointment, but were free that day. First off, Anna and Lucy are wonderful (both are sisters). They're both super sweet, nice, and talkative. Throughout our entire session, they chatted with us and whatnot. What I loved about this place is that since only two of them work here, it is a very clean and quiet salon. Very relaxing and a big change from the usual crazy and loud nail salons. I got a full set done for about $24. Great price and what I loved most was the time and care that they put into doing our nails. They don't do the usual drilling your nail down and did everything with a nail file. My nails were done so perfectly - even, very natural looking. The only thing about this place is that if you're looking for funky nails, don't come here.I wanted color tips, and since they don't carry any, I just had clear tips painted over. I just came back from this place an hour ago, I was very pleased with my experience with this salon. I had place my appointment the same day I came in. I came in about 20 mins earlier than my appointment and they were happy to help me within mins. Lucy was very sweet and introduced herself to me before she sat me down to do my nails. I asked for a french manicure. Not only Lucy chatted with me but she was also chatting with other women in the place. I felt very welcomed here even though the woman talked about things I couldn't follow. Lucy took a lot of care with my nails and really did a fabulous job, it was quick and carefully done at the same time. I had also asked for an eyebrow wax. This is my first time doing this but Ann did a nice and painless job on my eyebrows. I usually don't like the thought of hot wax near my eye but she carefully did it, knowing it was my first time. She also asked if I wanted it to be more thinner but I was really happy what came out for the first time. They accept check and cash, since it's a very small place it's very cozy. I liked how the fact they didn't want my nails to be ruined so they reached into my back pocket to take out my cash for me. I guess this was my fault for coming here on Memorial Day right when they were about to close early because of no business. The result? A crappy job on my nails. Still trying to grow out the damage that she did to the surface of my nail bed. I had Anna, don't get me wrong she was nice but maybe she was just irritated cuz I had walked in right when she was about to lock up! First off, she manhandled me with her nail drill! She over used the nail drill that they use to smooth out the surface of your nail and remove the cuticle. My cuticles looked unnaturally pushed back too far AND the part of the nail closest to the cuticle was indented lower than the rest of my nail from passing the nail drill over that part of my nail too many times. When they started growing out, you could see the crescent shaped indent on my nails. It's finally growing out but took over 3 months! THEN she nicked me with the nail drill on my right pinky finger and then acted like she didn't do anything! So application of the acrylic and all the layers of nail polish and top coat stung like hell!!!! Will neverrrrrrrr go back even if they were the last option, which was the case why I went in the first place and now I regret it so much! read more

No, I will not give this place five stars. First of all, I made an appointment and they wouldn't see me until 30 minutes later... I came in here for a fill for my gel tips (it was my first time getting a fill)...they were very friendly and talked to me the whole time (for that they get two stars..otherwise it'd be one)..but my nails turned out nasty. They claimed it was the way my nails are...but c'mon, when she was done, my nails were yellowish, you could see the nail part grown out under the tip, and you could see where the gel ended on the nail bed near the cuticle from the last manicure.. I asked her why she said "that's just the way it is..just don't look at it closely". Usually after I get my nails done, I like to put my fingers over them to feel how smooth they are...after I got them done here, they were not smooth at all. I think it's the gel they used as the gel brush looked very old and nasty... I really really wanted to like this place because they are SO CLOSE to my house..but I don't like the feeling of 20 bucks being taken away from me... I dropped in with my daughter on a weekday afternoon and we were lucky that no other customers were there, as two more arrived shortly afterward. Lucy got both of us started right away and called Anna to come in and help. This was only my second ever manicure, and I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle and quick Lucy was. I got the clear gel and I am happy that it was dry before I left the salon. Lucy and Anna are very friendly. My daughter and I were instantly comfortable with them. The prices were reasonable. i decided to get my nails done impulsively one day so i decided to come here after reading pretty decent reviews on the place. probably the biggest mistake i have ever made. i didn't have an appointment so they made me wait around an hour (people with appointments walked in way later than me and were immediately taken into care by the two ladies working there, which was understandable so i still didn't mind too much). however, the attitude i received from the ladies gave off the vibe that they didn't want me there. i got my nails done here around january and it was the ugliest thing ever. i only chose to write about this now because i basically went through my camera roll and saw these nails, remembered how upset i was about them after spending so much money, and had to share because i highly do not recommend this place and u should spend your money elsewhere!! i chose a baby pink color and the lady that did my nails rushed through the whole process. i did a full set and the fake nails they attached to my nails were improperly bonded and i could see a gap between my real nail and the nail on top on multiple nails. she then proceeded to file my nails to all different sizes. my left and right hand looked completely different although i don't have a picture of the side by side. honestly i could probably paint them better than her because she did such a sloppy job as u can see in the pictures attached. there were literally splotches missing around the edges and it looked horrible. it looked fine from afar but it was the most atrocious nail job i have ever seen up close. i could even see my real nail because she painted them so bad that the nail polish was almost transparent and u could see the individual brush strokes all over the place. i will never come here again and never recommend this place to ANYONE. they also only accept cash which is not an issue but a little inconvenient. would give this place zero stars if i could and that's being generous! read more

I found this place from yelp randomly, and I decided to go there to have a try after reading the reviews. On sat, I went there and there was no customers at that time. The shop is clean and comfortable. Anna (one of the ladies who works there) asked me to pick a color and I requested to have a color dark purple or dark blue. However, she told me that they didn't have those colors so at the ended i just picked a color of dark red. After that, Anna started to help me to paint my nails. Anna is a nice person because she kept talking to me and didn't let me feel bored. After she finished painting my nails, and she used a fan to help me to dry my nails. However, after few minutes, I could see that there were many bubbles inside the color. I asked Anna is that supposed to have bubbles inside and she said it is. But honestly, I had done that before with the dark color at other places. There is NO bubbles inside the polish. Of course I was not satisfied with it cuz it doesn't look perfect! Anna said she can remove it but I have to wait longer, so I left and I won't come back again. =( read more

I got a manicure and pedicure from this nail salon a couple of weeks ago. It's located next to a ramen shop and Hilltop Gifts. Sisters Lucy and Ann are very friendly and talkative. On the wall they have a shelf with an enormous selection of colors; whether you are looking for something to match a dress for prom, or just a color that simply matches your mood, you will find it there. Although the venue is not very large, it never feels particularly cramped in there. Everything is carefully sterilized by a UV light-type thing. The pedicure treatment was very soothing; my feet felt like a baby's after. They also do anything they can to make you feel comfortable, including giving you a pair of foam slipper so you won't have to walk to the manicure tables barefoot. They are very good at manicures as well; my french tips for prom lasted more than 2 weeks. I have never gotten an acrylic set; it will be something for me to try in the future. You should call ahead first to make an appointment. They are very popular, but sometimes they accept walk ins. Overall, this is a salon I trust and would visit again. read more

This place is definitely not your luxurious nail spa. This is your typical nail spa conveniently located at your local Asian strip mall! This place only has 2 stations for manicures and pedicures, but is very well kept and clean. They did a great job on my french manicure and an awesome job on my niece's full set acrylic nails! The ladies (sisters Ann and Lucy) that work/own this place are very warm and friendly. They seem very sincere and nice not like the other ladies at the other spas who just try to make small talk with you.
