Hands down the BEST spot for pedicures! Nina and her crew are amazing and thorough. Very clean salon, when they aren't busy I see them cleaning and it always has that clean smell when walking in. This has always been my neighborhood nail place and recently moved to the peninsula and I'd rather come here and pay the toll. My go to nail salon for a pedicure! It's convenient for me as it is walking distance for me but the best part about pedicures here is the massage. They don't rush the massage like a lot of other places I've been to. I forgot to ask who serviced my pedicure on Thursday but she did an amazing job with the massage. My nail shape was a little off on my big toes which I didn't notice until after the polish but the massage made up for it. read more

I made a HUGE mistake coming here. I wanted to like this place since it's close to my work. Its dingy interior with karaoke style instrumental music playing should have been my clue to leave. All I needed was to have my gel nail polish removed. I walked to the door and it was locked, but a lady came quickly to the door to open it. She was friendly and asked what I needed. I replied, "I just need my gel polish removed and a manicure with no nail polish." Sounds easy right?! Apparently it was not. I sat down and another lady came up to me to inspect my hands. They were speaking Vietnamese and all I heard was "gel polish." The lady working on me then grabbed her drill and began to aggressively file the gel polish off! So much that it WAS HURTING!!!! She even grazed the skin of my finger with the drill!!! Worst part...she didn't even get all of the nail polish off and now my nails are SO TENDER from her drilling!!! Not once did she try to use acetone. She went strictly drill. Honestly, I have never ever gotten a manicure to the point of leaving in PAIN! BTW, this was $25!!! read more

Dropped in w/o an appointment on a Monday when a lot of nail salons in Fremont are closed. My first visit was great, they welcomed me in... I picked the color, so I can't blame them for my summer color in this winter weather... haha! The massage chair was kinda broken, kinda worked... The foot massage more than made up for it, my tech I believe she said her name was Nina, I don't hear well so I hope that was it. She did a great job and I will be going back! 5 stars only for Hang. Great pedicure, she does callus removal so well. Strongly recommend to go to her. One new person joined them recently and she was horrible, very slow and super mellow. The massage chair doesn't work. I went through pics after I arrived and started getting worried but with some guiding my acrylics came out nice. They accidentally grabbed wrong color but it was still cute, a bit sloppy but not terrible. The reason for 3 instead of 4 stars was the pedicure was so crappy lol. This is my story . I have been going to Nina for years and she thinks because I am semi-retired that my time can just be moved around like it's nobody's business . I ran in yesterday October 2nd at 5:10 p.m. she closes at 6:00 . I wanted a quick nail fill and she says it would be a half an hour . She said get pedicure so I did . I am disabled so I can't reach my hands over my body I need to have each hand done by itself and she started to do it after I told her several times , being a regular I thought she would remember that . People call and she takes appointments for that night and she needs to close up and she leaves me hanging . I know Nina so she looked really tired I thought I have nothing to do tomorrow morning I'll come back and help her out . Then when I come in to get my water bottle she's working on the woman's nails that she just spent 45 minutes with , why couldn't she come back to me her regular ? I come in this morning and I said you really need to learn not how to pick up your phone and deal with the customers that's in there . She can never admit she's wrong ever , it's just not in her culture or personality . I told her let's do my nails for the last time I'm moving which wasn't true but I was there . We like to go with Hang and Tay, they do a really good job my favorite part is the massages they do. I always leave so relaxed. Just got done with my gel mani and pedicure. The ladies at this place are nice enough. Unfortunately, the cuticle cleaning and nail painting is sub par. I've been here enough times and I always come in thinking today won't be as bad. I think today will be my last visit. The gel manicure is too thick, streaky, and uneven. My cuticles were not cleaned at all. Worst part, the color number is wrong. I only realized after I got up and saw the packaging number. What an excellent experience! I found this little gem using google maps and thought I'd pop my head in. Three employees smiled and greeted me immediately. I asked if they had time for a pedicure. They began to run my foot bath right away and told me to choose a nail colour. I had so many options (they have 7 walls of colours)!!! I'd only been in the door for 2 minutes but was already thoroughly impressed by the service! I ended up picking the "Firewalker Pedicure" with the paraffin wax 'add-on'. This was one of a few add-ons. The others were: callus treatment, hot oil massage AND stone massage (all offered for $50 or less). This is a spacious store with 8 massage chairs and 6 stations for manicures. To be honest, I'm pretty picky when it comes to getting my nails done - I've had some AWFUL experiences, but CT NAILS & SPA deserves the five stars. The paint job looks great, my feet feel happy and my back feels wonderful from the massage chair :)! Thanks guys! read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. Went in to CT Nails just to take off my Dip Powder and get them painted naturally. Ladies did not have any clue how to get off the powder. They soaked my nails for 10-15 minutes, after took an OLD fake nail and shoved it under my powder. They continuously said wow these won't come off. Started to worry me since I came to a "Professional" to get them off. Sat there for another 20 minutes while they tried ripping them off. End factor cane out to be me leaving PAYING $10 for nothing and my fingers bleeding. And this women wanted to paint over my finger with no nail, i'm not trying to get an infection . worst experience hope this saves someone from dealing with what I dealt with . read more

Sloppy job. Don't go here to get a full set! Not only did she make one of my fingers bleed, she didn't have me wash my hands after she filed down the nails so there's bubbles and debris in the gel. I came in after taking my acrylics off. Some of my nails were in bad shape, but others were fine. She filed some of my nails only because the other nails were short but it was bad. I had to ask her to file my thumb the same shape as the other since it was rounded and she made one thumb square. I had to ask multiple times because she forgot. My paint job is super bad. I understand painting my small nails are hard, but there's places missing polish. I've gone to other salons where they've painted my nails with perfection. If you look at the pictures you'll see how bad it is. I do not recommend this salon at least for gel manis. This is the worst service i've ever received at any salon. read more

Update:: Van is NO longer working at this salon which really bums me out!! I decided to give Nina (the owner) a try. As soon as she started my nails I knew the results would be bad. I just needed a quick fill because I was attending a wedding the up coming weekend, She cut off my acrylics I already had on and and started a new full set, which I never requested!! I was getting the pink and white french manicure, They came out soooo thin, and all my nails were crooked and very sharp on the square shape. These only lasted me 2 weeks(when Van did them they lasted a little over a month) and had to pull them off!! I also decided to get a pedicure, which was not the best as usual!! What a waste of $50.00 bucks!! I really liked this salon, but miss Van. I will NOT be returning to this salon. read more

Me and my friend are going on a trip in a few days and thought we should go get our nails done! We searched up places near us and CT Nails came up, so we went. Not looking at the reviews was a bad idea because it was horrible. When we walked in, the place was really outdated but we didn't judge. We were immediately greeted by, Nina. It was horrible customer service. I don't even think this place even deserves one star because of how disrespected we were and she barely even tried and was paying attention to her phone like 70% of the time. My friend picked out a really bright pink but neutral, she only put 2 coats but barely and nail polish she then told her she was done, we tried to aks her if she could do more coats and she got mad at her. Me, I asked for acrylics and she was so harsh, that I started bleeding. She didn't even finish my entire nail and she also tore some of my skin and shaped it unevenly along with my friend. Followed Nina here, as she previously owned City Nails. She is awesome! Although, Van did my nails this time and did a great job. I couldn't find the perfect nude, even though I pulled 3 polishes off the shelf.. Undecided, like always, I wasn't sure which polish to get. Nina was helpful in finding the shade I didn't even know I was looking for. I usually bring my son and he is normally quiet playing on my phone. Sure enough mommy is getting a pedicure and he wanted a massage too -_- Nina was nice enough to let him sit on the chair next to me just to get the massage for about 10 min.
