*UPDATE ALREADY* Gel-X Nails are WEAK AND TWO ALREADY BROKE!!!! Unfortunately, getting my nails done around my birthday never seems to work out, no matter where I go. I made an appointment for three people on a Sunday at 4:30 p.m. for full sets and pedicures. We were greeted, checked in, and seated together. Two of us were assigned nail techs right away, while our third friend had to wait, which wasn't a huge issue at first. I told my nail tech I wanted a pink-and-white full set, which I thought was a pretty common request. Somehow there was a miscommunication, and he gave me Gel-X instead. I had never even heard of Gel-X before that day, so I know I didn't ask for it. Since the nails were already done, I asked him to get as close as possible to the pink color I wanted, and I ended up liking the color enough to leave it as is. The pedicures were fine, but our third friend didn't make it to the pedicure chairs until 20-30 minutes after we did. By the time she joined us, we were almost finished. The real issue started after I left. In daylight, I could see that my nails were almost see-through, and all of the glue underneath was visible. It looked sloppy and unfinished. I considered going somewhere else but decided to give them a chance to fix it. When I called, I explained the issue and was told that since it had only been one day, they would fix my nails for free. I left work early to come back, only to be told that a reshape and color change would cost $25. Had I known that, I never would have left work early. I was seen by the same nail tech, who seemed annoyed that I wasn't happy with the results. He filed them down and applied one coat of a darker color, insisting that adding another coat of the original color wouldn't help. He wasn't particularly friendly during either visit, and I left unhappy with the results once again. At that point, I decided I was done. I went back to my usual salon and had the nails removed. Needless to say, I won't be returning. The only reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because both of my friends were happy with their nails. read more

Walked in today- it was super busy and still they could accommodate my sister and I immediately! My nail artists name was Taylor and she was an absolute angel! She kept asking me how I liked it along the way and did the most beautiful job!! Didn't cut me or hurt me once and I noticed if she didn't like how the cat eye came out she did it again. Really great attention to detail. The area is really busy but I hear a lot of regulars so I know it has to be a good spot. 100000% will return! My latest visit: I came here as a walk in on a Wednesday morning for a pedicure and someone was able to help me right away. The staff who did my pedicure really did great on my nails (just simple white toes) and the massage was definitely worth spending the extra money. I also really enjoy this spot -- apparently it's my 7th visit according to the device that you check in at the front. They always offer drinks and everyone that has helped me has always been kind. The aesthetics here is also nice - marble floors, gold decor, and a lot of picturesque spots for you to take of your nails! read more

Very disappointed with both the service and customer care. My gel manicure chipped on several fingers shortly after my appointment (2 days later ) When I returned, the technician immediately blamed me instead of taking responsibility or trying to understand the issue. She filed and cut the chipped nails and only applied a clear coat. After the UV light, my hands were left covered in nail dust. She then picked up her phone and began chatting with a coworker while I was still there. When I asked for lotion, she told me to go wash my hands if I wanted. The entire interaction felt rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I expected much better customer service and will not be returning. The manicure looked nice at first, but the chipping and poor customer service ruined the experience. The lady at the front desk always nice and caring . The technician Jessica was the one who was very disrespectful. I like this salon and not all the technician are like that . Maybe was my luck . read more

Highly recommend this place! The nail artists are very skilled -- I had Lynn and she was amazing! When I came in my nails were all cracked and she completely reshaped them with Gel-x. I also called last minute and they were able to accommodate me and stayed after their normal hours. read more

I came here with about 3 broken natural nails hoping to get them fixed. I was able to get an appointment the same day I came in, but not even 3 days later my nails broke again that same week. This shouldn't be happening especially if I am trying to get them professionally taken care of. I was left feeling frustrated as I spent quite a bit of money, including tip. I had to go to another salon and they explained better on what they'd do to help. The quality of work is not good if my nails break again 3 days later. They just put a thin layer of glue which barely holds anything. I'm disappointed and frustrated. No pictures since I got them redone somewhere else. Because of this, I find staff is not customer focused and just intends to make as much money as they can without providing quality service. Also they talk in their native language so you're left wondering if they're talking about you. read more

Did a walk-in on a Saturday evening to get a pedicure with Anna. The salon is quite large and offers a range of services from mani pedis to lash extensions. When I arrived I noticed that the salon was bustling, and all the chairs were filled which was to be expected on a weekend, but the wait was very brief. There were different pedicure packages I was able to choose from, and I believe the one I got was the lux pedicure. You can either choose from regular or gel polish; I opted for the gel. I only do white on my toes but I was tempted by the myriad of options they offered. The entire experience very relaxing. I loved every part of the treatment and would say it's worth upgrading from the basic package. Every employee I encountered was so sweet and welcoming. I usually never do walk-in services. I prefer to book appointments after doing a lot of research to find the right nail tech so I was a little nervous, but I had a lovely experience. Would definitely return to get my next pedicure! read more

I have been going to Su, she knows what I like as far as my nails go and she always has good suggestions when I'm undecided. I do Recommend reservations. A tad too crowded for my taste. Feels like they tried to squeeze in as many nail stations in as possible. It takes the ambience of Moods away. My partner has been a customer of mood nail lounge for quite some time, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Business owner also takes zero accountability for negative experiences if you look at Google and yelp reviews there's so many negative experiences but the owner doesn't care to respond or acknowledge them and only responds to ones with good reviews. She went in for a manicure and pedicure and specifically requested square-shaped nails. During the appointment she asked the technician multiple times to adjust the shape because the nails were becoming rounded instead of square. She also asked a question about her cuticles and was completely ignored. I was sitting next to her the entire time and witnessed the interaction myself. When the service was finished, the nails were uneven, bulky, inconsistent in thickness, and not the shape she requested. The photos speak for themselves. For a service that cost around $100+ for the manicure and close to $200 total with tip and additional services, the quality was nowhere near what we expected. The most frustrating part wasn't even the nails--it was how the situation was handled afterward. We contacted the salon immediately, sent photos, explained that she had already raised concerns during the appointment, and provided proof of the issues. Because she had an event the following day, she had to pay another salon in San Francisco to fix the work. The difference in quality between the original set and the corrected set was obvious. Instead of acknowledging that the concerns were raised during the service, management responded by saying they didn't hear any issues and repeatedly referred us back to their no-refund policy. We were offered a complimentary future service, but after this experience my girlfriend was not comfortable returning. As a business if you're offering a service and you didn't provide a good service and quality the first time what makes you think someone would feel comfortable and want to return for a re-do. I understand businesses have policies. However, policies should not be used to avoid accountability when a customer raises concerns during the appointment and the final product does not meet a reasonable professional standard. What disappointed me most was not the mistake itself mistakes happen. It was the lack of ownership and the refusal to make things right for a loyal customer. Please don't waste your time and money going here you're far better off paying a little extra and going to much better nail techs in the Bay Area quality matters more than convenience especially for nails. read more

I have gotten my nails done here for maybe a year-ish now and I love it. I don't have to be afraid that one nail tech is not as good as the other because they all know how to do everything you ask for. The appointment booking system is very easy and straightforward. The salon itself is also so nice and clean. It's a very nice establishment to be in. After hopping around with a couple of techs, my go to now is Sunny, he is so good and does any design I show him. He's very meticulous and precise with anything he does. First time in a long time getting my nails done! (Three Years to be EXACT) I've seen this place open sometime ago and thought "wow what an aesthetically presented nail salon!" Finally went in tonight and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. To add, I was a walk in (which they do accept). Coming in - greeted right away and asked what I wanted (showed an inspo photo). It was busy! I was prepared to wait honestly. I did not. They got me seated right away. They host with the most, asking if I wanted any beverages or snacks. I wish I did take advantage of that but maybe next time! My nail tech was Jolie. VERY SWEET and TALENTED LADY! She was so gentle with me from application, acrylic process to filing. I was almost falling asleep. Please see the picture, no words, the results speak for itself. I will be coming back! So, the price... Acrylic and design came out to $110 altogether and I was very pleased so I tipped an extra $50. It may sound expensive but these are going to LAST and well done so I can justify spending that. I've come here a few times for pedicures. The vibe is cute and I've generally had a pleasant experience. However, my most recent visit was very disappointing. I booked a large group appointment, but the salon was not prepared to accommodate us together. I ended up sitting with my feet soaking for 45 minutes past my scheduled time before my pedicure even began. My first manicure here was equally underwhelming. The technician didn't clean my nails properly and treated the service as if it were a chore, chastising me for broken nails. The gel polish started chipping just four days later, and because my nails weren't prepped well, the grow out looked messy within a week. I felt embarrassed for recommending this salon to my friends, only for the service to fall short. I may return for a pedicure, but I'll be going elsewhere for manicures and definitely won't book group services here again. read more

Acrylic full set. Let me know if you think this is worth $97. The photos really dont do justice however paint job is lumpy, my nails are so wide and uneven I'm just unhappy overall. It was close to closing and i didn't have time to go back and fourth with the person on how unhappy I am with my nails. She's incredibly personable, always greets me by name, and clearly takes so much pride in creating a warm, welcoming experience. It really sets the tone. Jessica is my nail tech and I can't say enough good things about her. She shapes my nails perfectly every single time -- natural, clean, and exactly what I want (even when I don't know what I want). Her recommendations are always spot-on, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. After months of trying to find someone to replace my old nail tech from another salon, I'm so happy to say I've finally found my person. I'm not picky when it comes to pedicures, but honestly, everyone here has consistently done a fantastic job. The attention to detail, consistency, and overall care really stand out. After showing her a photo of the new design I wanted, she skillfully delivered a pretty finished product that I absolutely loved. I was quoted $70-$75 (without extensions). Fast forward to my 11am appt. a few days after our interaction.. I arrive 10 min early, but the shop is completely closed. The sign says they are open at 10am, so I'm confused, like maybe I'm at the wrong place or?? I call, a girl apologizes saying someone should be there shortly. Ok, not a huge deal. I thought I would be getting my nails done by Janice, since that's who I chose in my appt. request, but Yumi was the one who opened up the shop and ended up doing my nails. She was really sweet and easy to talk to. For my nails, I wanted the design from the photo, but without the accent nail. I wasn't completely satisfied with my nails bc I feel like it wasn't as precise as in my inspo photo, but it was decent enough. When I went to pay she told me my total was $89, which caught me off guard bc according to our messages, I was quoted $70-$75, which when I told her, she said "I said it would be AROUND $70-$75." Why give a price range and not honor it? $14 is a big difference. Anyway, I'm not one to cause a scene so I paid, tipped, and left feeling like I was taken advantage of. 5 days after getting my nails done, the gel has already started lifting/ peeling. I'm even more disappointed and probably would not come back.

If you're someone who regularly gets their nails done, you KNOW that finding the perfect salon is like discovering hidden treasure, and this place is truly a gem in the area. & as a girlie who loves and has been getting her nails done for a long time, this nail salon is the dream spot. The girls who get it get it, and the girls who don't don't!!! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff here is not only highly skilled but also incredibly friendly and attentive. They take the time to listen to your preferences and make sure you leave with nails that exceed your expectations. I've been to my fair share of nail salons and I do understand that language barriers can sometimes complicates things but the nail techs here will go out their way and over communicate with you every step of the way. You can tell because all the staff is involved and so friendly with every client, whether you are theirs or not. What truly sets this nail salon apart is the quality of their work. I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this salon. I came in for a dip manicure, but from the beginning, the technician was rude and dismissive. When I mentioned that I wanted dip powder, he immediately told me it was unhealthy and would thin my nails, which felt unprofessional and discouraging. While applying the dip, he only completed the process halfway down my nails and then began using his own fingernail--rather than proper tools--to remove the excess powder. I politely asked him to use sanitized tools instead, but he refused. When I insisted, he abruptly said he was not interested in continuing the service. What's worse, the salon made no effort to offer another technician to finish the job. As a result, I left with incomplete and painful nails. One of my nails is now sore and slightly red, which is very concerning. The lack of hygiene, poor customer service, and complete disregard for professionalism were shocking. I would not recommend this salon to anyone who expects basic courtesy, cleanliness, and proper care during their service. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent nail appointment. The nail tech clearly lacked experience and it showed throughout the entire service. The shapes of the nails were completely off, and there was a thick layer of gel underneath that made my nails look bulky and unattractive. The nails were filed unevenly, and the nails weren't even fitted properly some were way too small, and you can still see my natural nails showing on the sides. To make matters worse, while she was drilling some of the nails, she applied so much pressure that she completely removed the artificial nail beds from my natural nail. Instead of fixing it properly with a new nail, she just filled the gap with regular gel, which looks terrible and doesn't match the rest of the set. I mentioned a few concerns during the appointment, but nothing was corrected in a proper looking manner. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt overwhelmed I just wanted to get out of there. Today me & my coworker's decided to get pedicures so we ended up at Mood Nail Lounge , for their $95 Valentine's pedicure package, and I have to say, it was a complete disappointment. From the moment I sat down, it was clear that the technician was in a rush. She hurried through the entire process, which made me feel like I was just another number rather than a valued customer. For $95, I expected top-notch service, but what I got was far from it. The technician was rough and ended up cutting my toe, which caused it to bleed. Instead of addressing the issue with care, she just continued as if nothing happened. The entire pedicure was over in less than an hour, and I left feeling frustrated and unhappy. I had high hopes for a relaxing and luxurious experience, but unfortunately, Mood Nail Lounge did not deliver. I had a really good experience at Mood Nail Lounge. I have extensive allergies, including sensitivities to fragrances and certain nail products, so I was nervous going in, but Jennifer was very understanding and took the time to listen to my concerns. Teresa did my pedicure and she was wonderful. She was friendly, helpful, conversational, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Even though I could not do gel polish or scented products, my pedicure still came out beautiful. My feet felt so soft, clean, and looked great afterward. I would definitely come back and request her again. Taylor also did my 4-year-old daughter's service and was very sweet and patient with her. My daughter loved her nails. I came here a few months ago for my pedicure I had an appointment but still waited about 45 minutes to be seated. The work was good hence why I brushed it off. Today I called for a walk in; front desk lady didn't seem to eager to talk, she wasn't able to provide me with a wait time she just sounded like she wanted to get me off the phone. She was like " I'm not sure , I don't know, we need some time to prepare " which is fine but She seemed almost annoyed. I called Yvonne's nails, guy was super nice and welcoming. They advertise and are open about fixing the problems with your nails, and invite you to come back so they can do them right. They have a 7 day policy, if I remember what the receptionist said. I went back and my god the owner Jenifer, Jen or whatever, SOOOOO RUDE. Very uninviting words and faces were made toward me. And she wasn't even the one doing the work, just hovering. Seemed to take it personally. Thankful for the guy who re did my nails, but my god, owner is rude and will ignore you if you make her follow the policy she created. Silly behavior from an adult. I recently tried this salon for the first time, booking a gel manicure appointment with Tracy. Despite the salon being extremely busy, Tracy exceeded my expectations. Her attention to detail and expertise resulted in perfectly shaped and lengthened nails. While I did wonder why my hands weren't soaked and cuticles not thoroughly cleaned, it didn't detract from my overall experience. Tracy's skills and efficiency make her a must-book. There about a handful of good nail artists here. I've been about 10 times. Really make sure you go to a good person and read reviews. Others aren't the best at nails. My tops are Cindy, Andy, and Jessica. I feel like they're more real nail techs and do your nails to your hand/finger shape/size no matter what shape or length you get. I'm sure there's other great ones, but my experience with others are very sloppy, rushed, and off putting. My last one was with Jennifer I believe, and I'll stick with my top 3!! read more

(It was included in the more expensive manicure that I didn't choose.) My friend was upsold as well. Her gel mani/pedi was $110! She reminded them that she wanted only basic pedicure. Most nail places hand you a menu and when you tell the the service you want, that's what they give you. We felt scammed. When we tried to question their shady business ethic, they gave excuses and stamped extra punches in a card to "apologize". We won't be returning.

Anyways, I had to leave another nail salon because they could not honor their 2pm appointment. T Nails took me immediately and started my pedicure as soon as I walked in. It was nice, but the lowest price is $35. I usually don't pay that much for a basic pedicure with regular nail polish, but the Friday before Christmas is not the time to be cheap. My full set took a bit longer to start, but no problem--I got to sit in the comfortable massage chair. I asked for a pink and white full set in an oval shape. He got the nails and color on super fast, but the shaping took forever. While sitting there, I was so upset he was taking so long. After the fact, I now see why he took his time. My nails look amazing and, two weeks later, still look like the first day.

First, the tech showed up late, but I wasn't in a rush so it wasn't a problem. As for the actual work, my cuticles could've been cleaned up better on both my hands and my feet. I paid for gel nails thinking they would last longer, but they started chipping after a little over a week. The biggest issue, though, was my eyebrow wax. My eyelid actually got burned during the service, and three weeks later, I still have a mark from it. I tried reaching out to them privately through their contact form to show them the photos and ask for a refund on the wax service only, but they never bothered to reply. It's a bummer because the day started out nice, but between the burn, the mark still being there, the nails not lasting, and being ignored regarding the burn, it left a sour taste.
