    Very disappointed with both the service and customer care. My gel manicure chipped on several fingers shortly after my appointment (2 days later ) When I returned, the technician immediately blamed me instead of taking responsibility or trying to understand the issue. She filed and cut the chipped nails and only applied a clear coat. After the UV light, my hands were left covered in nail dust. She then picked up her phone and began chatting with a coworker while I was still there. When I asked for lotion, she told me to go wash my hands if I wanted. The entire interaction felt rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I expected much better customer service and will not be returning. The manicure looked nice at first, but the chipping and poor customer service ruined the experience. The lady at the front desk always nice and caring . The technician Jessica was the one who was very disrespectful. I like this salon and not all the technician are like that . Maybe was my luck .

    *UPDATE ALREADY* Gel-X Nails are WEAK AND TWO ALREADY BROKE!!!! Unfortunately, getting my nails done around my birthday never seems to work out, no matter where I go. I made an appointment for three people on a Sunday at 4:30 p.m. for full sets and pedicures. We were greeted, checked in, and seated together. Two of us were assigned nail techs right away, while our third friend had to wait, which wasn't a huge issue at first. I told my nail tech I wanted a pink-and-white full set, which I thought was a pretty common request. Somehow there was a miscommunication, and he gave me Gel-X instead. I had never even heard of Gel-X before that day, so I know I didn't ask for it. Since the nails were already done, I asked him to get as close as possible to the pink color I wanted, and I ended up liking the color enough to leave it as is. The pedicures were fine, but our third friend didn't make it to the pedicure chairs until 20-30 minutes after we did. By the time she joined us, we were almost finished. The real issue started after I left. In daylight, I could see that my nails were almost see-through, and all of the glue underneath was visible. It looked sloppy and unfinished. I considered going somewhere else but decided to give them a chance to fix it. When I called, I explained the issue and was told that since it had only been one day, they would fix my nails for free. I left work early to come back, only to be told that a reshape and color change would cost $25. Had I known that, I never would have left work early. I was seen by the same nail tech, who seemed annoyed that I wasn't happy with the results. He filed them down and applied one coat of a darker color, insisting that adding another coat of the original color wouldn't help. He wasn't particularly friendly during either visit, and I left unhappy with the results once again. At that point, I decided I was done. I went back to my usual salon and had the nails removed. Needless to say, I won't be returning. The only reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because both of my friends were happy with their nails.

    I've been coming to this salon for about two years now for my manicures and pedicures, and I've always been extremely satisfied with everyone's work. The entire team is highly professional and skilled, and the customer service is outstanding. Everyone here is wonderful. This time, Nancy did my manicure, and she completed it quickly, meticulously, and perfectly. I'm very happy with the result.

    My latest visit: I came here as a walk in on a Wednesday morning for a pedicure and someone was able to help me right away. The staff who did my pedicure really did great on my nails (just simple white toes) and the massage was definitely worth spending the extra money. I also really enjoy this spot -- apparently it's my 7th visit according to the device that you check in at the front. They always offer drinks and everyone that has helped me has always been kind. The aesthetics here is also nice - marble floors, gold decor, and a lot of picturesque spots for you to take of your nails!

    My partner has been a customer of mood nail lounge for quite some time, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Business owner also takes zero accountability for negative experiences if you look at Google and yelp reviews there's so many negative experiences but the owner doesn't care to respond or acknowledge them and only responds to ones with good reviews. She went in for a manicure and pedicure and specifically requested square-shaped nails. During the appointment she asked the technician multiple times to adjust the shape because the nails were becoming rounded instead of square. She also asked a question about her cuticles and was completely ignored. I was sitting next to her the entire time and witnessed the interaction myself. When the service was finished, the nails were uneven, bulky, inconsistent in thickness, and not the shape she requested. The photos speak for themselves. For a service that cost around $100+ for the manicure and close to $200 total with tip and additional services, the quality was nowhere near what we expected. The most frustrating part wasn't even the nails--it was how the situation was handled afterward. We contacted the salon immediately, sent photos, explained that she had already raised concerns during the appointment, and provided proof of the issues. Because she had an event the following day, she had to pay another salon in San Francisco to fix the work. The difference in quality between the original set and the corrected set was obvious. Instead of acknowledging that the concerns were raised during the service, management responded by saying they didn't hear any issues and repeatedly referred us back to their no-refund policy. We were offered a complimentary future service, but after this experience my girlfriend was not comfortable returning. As a business if you're offering a service and you didn't provide a good service and quality the first time what makes you think someone would feel comfortable and want to return for a re-do. I understand businesses have policies. However, policies should not be used to avoid accountability when a customer raises concerns during the appointment and the final product does not meet a reasonable professional standard. What disappointed me most was not the mistake itself mistakes happen. It was the lack of ownership and the refusal to make things right for a loyal customer. Please don't waste your time and money going here you're far better off paying a little extra and going to much better nail techs in the Bay Area quality matters more than convenience especially for nails.

    I haven't been going here for very long, but I'm very impressed with the staff, the services, and the friendliness. I have been going to Su, she knows what I like as far as my nails go and she always has good suggestions when I'm undecided. They always offer snacks, water, or mimosas I would highly recommend mood lounge for their pedicures and manicures (I get the gel X).

    The first time I went, the nail tech was rude. But this time it was better. She didn't talk smack or judge me. My only complaint is that I went with someone else and they had to wait 30 minutes before someone actually started to do her nails and the nail techs were complaining that it wasn't that long of a wait. So when I asked the front desk lady, she said they did me first before they did the other one. Which confused me because I thought my nail tech was doing both mine and the other person. Other than that it was fine.

    Mood Nail Lounge is the best nail salon in Fremont. The salon is always so festive and everyone that works there is always so welcoming. I went in today for Mother's Day and the owner Jen gave all the Moms a rose and a cookie which was much appreciated.

    My "services" Absolutely INSANE. I went in for a fill and simple chrome on the top and got 2 extra charges. Length? "Ombre" (using your brain to blend the chrome) I'm extremely disappointed. Length for A FILL?!!! I always go to Yvonne's and I will continue to do so. Also the manager was super rude.

    Did a walk-in on a Saturday evening to get a pedicure with Anna. The salon is quite large and offers a range of services from mani pedis to lash extensions. When I arrived I noticed that the salon was bustling, and all the chairs were filled which was to be expected on a weekend, but the wait was very brief. There were different pedicure packages I was able to choose from, and I believe the one I got was the lux pedicure. You can either choose from regular or gel polish; I opted for the gel. I only do white on my toes but I was tempted by the myriad of options they offered. The entire experience very relaxing. I loved every part of the treatment and would say it's worth upgrading from the basic package. Every employee I encountered was so sweet and welcoming. I usually never do walk-in services. I prefer to book appointments after doing a lot of research to find the right nail tech so I was a little nervous, but I had a lovely experience. Would definitely return to get my next pedicure!

We talked a lot and I preferred it to be quiet. She gossiped later that all I did was talk about myself. But girl, you kept asking. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Also at the end before it was over she just opened up the towel and exposed my back and she left afterwards for a few minutes. What is the reason to leave product on my skin and the cold air? It was cold and I didn't expect her to leave me. At least let me know to expect that ya know??
