First can't believe the high ratings on yelp for this place! Absolutely the worst pedicure EVER!! Never seen an autoclave bag. Instruments NOT sterilized?!! The girl I was stuck with said her name was Ivy... She tried to cut my toenails with clippers possibly from the 99 cent store 15 minutes for 1 foot!! I told her to get another instrument, she went in back and rinsed one off and came back with another same kind of toenail clipper... Another 15 minutes, her hair getting on me!! I had to reach over an hold her hair off of me... She giggled!! GROSS!! Crooked cutting... I took the clippers and file to show her how to do it!! I asked her when she is going to take her test to get licensed... She said she took it 2 years ago??!!! HOLY CRAP it was like a 5 year old learning to do her 1st pedicure!! Barely made an effort to scrub my feet, I really tried not to be rude, and I'm thinking where can I go get this fixed... Picking color; mostly just looking for a not empty bottle!! I used to come here but they sold the shop 2 years ago, then they gave you a hard time trying to sell you EVERYTHING but the kitchen sink so I never went back... Till today, I was rushed Really Really needed a pedicure and thought I'd give em another try... Way Wrong Decision!! read more

My rating for this place is based solely on the outcome of my mani and pedi. If I put other things like decor, etc into my rating, it wouldn't be fair and for the effort, time and outcome, this place really does deserve a 5 star. In NY, I'm used to beautiful big salons with huge rows of beautiful Essie and OPI's lined up in genres of color. I'm used to having free massages after my mani, but I guess most places in Fremont aren't like that. I didn't expect much when I saw this place and the weird polishes I've never seen before. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical at first. This place is what I would have called "ghetto" in NY lol. I came because I saw the beautiful designs and decided to try this place out. I called last minute to see if they would have an open slot in 15 mins and got lucky. I did a regular pedi and a gel mani with 2 ring finger designs. The prices are pretty fair, it's what I'm used to from NY. Nina did my pedi and she was a nice lady. We chatted up a storm. My pedi came out pretty nice. Minh the owner did my mani. She was so meticulous, detail oriented and creative! I mean, this woman can remake any design from the internet. She does beautiful work! She takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. I think they also use LED for gel which is better than UV since it can cause skin cancer. This place has endless options for designs from flowers, rhinestones, glitter...whatever you want, Minh can do for you. I will definitely come back to try different things. I was so happy with my nails. I can't stop looking at them today afterwards. They are just so pretty! Probably the prettiest design I've ever gotten in my life lol. Definitely call to make appt though. She's a busy woman! Only thing was, my gel mani was $25+$6 (2 designs) + $17 for pedi which should have been $48, but was charged $52? No biggie though, maybe next time they can fix that. read more

If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. I went in for a fill because my normal salon was closed. They did a horrible job. I say they because it took 2 people to try and do them. The manager was rude and upset that I complained. She tried to fix my nails and was mugging me and making me feel uncomfortable. My nails look worse than before the fill. Word of advice if your in a panic and you need your nails done just wait and don't go somewhere else to get them done especially not here!!!!!! read more

I came here based on reviews and availability. I called 10 minutes before coming in. I didn't have an appointment. The person that answered the phone said that they can see me. She didn't take my name. I came to the salon. She asked if I had called for a pedicure. I said yes. The salon looks clean. It could be cleaner. I wonder if they sterilize their tools? It doesn't seem like it. Not the traditional pedicures I am used to, but it did the trick for now. The lady that did my pedicure is an older lady. Her methods are different like I said before. She was cordial. I probably won't return. 3 stars break down: 1 star for availability, 1 star for the Okay pedicure. 1 star because the lady was nice. read more

Minh is great, she is also the owner. She is very quick and neat. She is also fun to talk to. She can see a design and just do it by hand. Her prices are very good. I usually go for shillac and it's $22.00. And the nail polish lasts 3 weeks or more sometimes. She also has a nail polish color warranty which is the first time I ever heard of something like that. Was in the area and had just fed my baby. Wanted to get a quick pedi before my baby's next feeding. Called in to check on wait time. There was no wait time, so dropped by within 5 min. Very kind and professional ladies, asked me to pick my polish and seated me and my baby (May gave extra chair support the car-seat and its safety), even I didn't think about it! May talked and played with my baby and kept her entertained, while giving me a nice pedi. Thanks May! May also upgraded by pedi with a sugar scrub for an extra $2 (unlike other places, she mentioned extra pricing, so no surprises during payment). May was very gentle and careful with my cuticles and dry callus. I asked her to trim my toe nails round and too close (I usually like it that way). May did cut it close like I wanted but didn't cut it round, but a rounded square and assured me that it would look nice and I am glad I went with it, it looks very nice. She even extra scrubbed the callus as I requested. I had to rush out as I suddenly remembered that I had to be some place; ended up smudging my toe, but May quickly fixed it in literally 5 seconds! And as I leave in a rush (the polish was still wet), May tells me that if I smudge my polish on my way, i am welcome for a free fix later that day. The polish held up and dried without any problem, but I really appreciate her offer, even though it was my fault to rush out. By the quality of work, I can already say this pedi will last me a while! Every step of my pedi, May asked if I was doing okay and made me feel relaxed. They do not have massaging chairs here, but they make up for it in their service. I have been to an awful lot of nail salons, trying to find the one that would be consistently good. I've found it! I love this place. I always make an appointment, but a lot of times it's not really necessary. Like everyone else says, Min is fantastic, and the massages are the best! I'm getting a pedicure as I type this. Today was my first visit to this salon and it was great! I saw Min for an acrylic fill, she transformed my too-thick square uneven nails with a super cute short coffin set. She was so sweet and talkative the entire time and made an effort to get to know me. She is super fast but thorough and I only paid 1/2 of my usual price for better work!
