Shipping from anywhere, even DTC Grip, for spike tape costs more than the tape itself, so I was excited to go.

Great business. I just got some film processing done here, C-41 and E6, some cross-processed film…read moreand some real black and white also. They were prompt to notify me when it was all done. They sleeved everything nice. Even sold me a loupe. My film was really old, I shouldn't have waited so long to process it, but I did have some keepers. I had a photo of Gus Van Sant directing "Milk" on Castro Street and some photos of 2 dead friends, so those images made me happy. I know my friend's family are gonna want to see these. I had some photos of my friend with no hands rolling joints and that series came out nice and sharp thank goodness. And I bought some b&w film also to shoot more. Life is good and so is this photolab. Believe me, I worked for I've done many weddings, have two photojournalism degrees, worked at Kodak Processing, Fuji Processing, Adobe Camera, Mission One Hour Photo, Action Shooters, Grad Trak Photography, Evans Photography, Price Club One Hour Photo and more.

I use to have two Cibachrome (a process for printing slides) prints done a month. Rob was a master of this process. This paper and the chemicals to produce these truly amazing prints was discontinued almost 20 years ago. Rob now as all the latest papers, metals, and canvasses, you will really be able to see how much better his work is than what comes out of your printer at home. I have read he also works with artist to reproduce their work.

Most of the Yelp reviews mention the rental equipment that can be rented. What they don't really…read moreadvertise is the stellar production service Studio B also offers, especially with knowing all the technical requirements live streaming over YouTube Live or Facebook Live (i.e. 1080p vs 720p on Facebook Live). It was my first attempt at trying to do so, so having someone with previous experience and the right equipment was invaluable. Dan Williams put together a reasonable proposal with a 2-camera person team, showed up for an on-site survey the week before the event to figure out what lenses and camera angles to use, and came with his team to shoot on the holiday evening. He also helped put titles on each of the speakers and adding transition slides between each part of event. If you're interested in seeing the final product, take a look at: https://www.facebook.com/sv4obama/videos/356849578033299/ (skip 15 minutes ahead). In retrospect, we learned: 1) use AT&T/Verizon LTE data wireless service instead of trying to install Comcast/AT&T Uverse (Uverse is insufficent for upload bandwidth, and Comcast is problematic if you have no cabling in the complex) along with a Pepllink router to avoid streaming over WiFi. 2) Rely on Studio B for the camera shooting (make sure to give them 1920x1080 JPG slides for any transition slides) 3) bring a USB v3.0 1TB hard drive so you can get the footage after the event. 4) Just start your live streaming on the time of the event instead of 15 minutes before hand. 5) If you are streaming any type of copyrighted music, Facebook will flag and actually detect what songs you are playing. You must override the default controls if you are using the music for fair use. Thank you Studio B for helping with this event!
