I had no prior history on my septic system (where it was located, when it was installed, when it had been pumped last, etc.) and needed someone to inspect it. The owner, David was able to come out quickly and was thorough in his inspection. The septic tank was full and the lid made of cement was cracked and mushy (they hadn't put rebar to stabilize). He showed me immediately and gave me my options, explaining the pros and cons for each and the pricing, never pushy or trying to upswell me. I decided to replace the tank since it was obviously not maintained. When he came back to dig up the old one, he gave me great news! The old tank wasn't as bad as originally thought now that he was able to fully inspect it and he could patch it versus putting in the new one which saved me a lot of money. I would suspect that most businesses wouldn't have told me and just replaced, especially when he had the new tank already there. His prices were fair and reasonable and he is very professional. They also replaced some piping in my water shed that the previous owner had used metal gas piping and put in an extension for my water hose line. Our garbage disposal stopped working, I spoke with a neighbor about plumber recommendations and he recommended DTH Plumbing. I called and spoke with a representative and set up an appointment and I ordered a replacement disposal unit. Paul arrived to check out our problem and he indicated that in actuality our present disposal was in fact not broken but merely needed an adjustment. He could have easily said he was going to replace our unit but his honesty saved us an unnecessary cost to replace our unit. With him just making the necessary adjustment and additional showing me how to do it in the event that it happens again provided us with a great outcome to our problem. He showed up Friday afternoon, assessed what we needed for repairs, went to Charlotte to pick up the parts for our very old (1960) tun faucets and was back out Saturday morning to do the repairs.
