While the tuxedo and my younger son's outfit were satisfactory, my eldest son received a pair of pants with what I thought was a stitching defect on the back. We picked up the items on Friday, and before my son wore them for the wedding the following day, my wife and I noticed the defect. Fortunately, the defect was not visible when he wore the suit jacket. Since the store was closed on Sunday, we returned on Monday. I returned the tuxedo rental and explained that there was an issue with the pants prior to my son wearing them and simply requested a replacement. However, we experienced a confrontational and unprofessional response, during which we were shouted at, and my son was repeatedly accused of dishonesty. This was one of the most unprofessional interactions I have encountered with a business. I would not recommend anyone to shop at this establishment because of the horrible experience, unbelievablely poor customer service and the atrocious behavior of the extremely unprofessional owner and his staff.

The store is larger than the one we customarily visit in Simsbury, so I didn't feel cramped walking around alongside a fair number of fellow shoppers. It's very neat and well organized inside and seemed to have a lot of merchandise. I saw the usual dishes, housewares, women's and men's shoes (including some gorgeous Air Jordans), shirts, blouses, outerwear, pants and jeans, plus sportscoats and men's suits ($25 or so). Some of the more unusual things I saw was an impressive collection of "I Love Lucy" memorabilia, and hiding among the audio CD's was a William Hung CD! He made quite a splash on American Idol 20 years ago, and if you're too young to know who he is, go check him out on YouTube.
