Went for Sunday brunch. Smoked salmon eggs benedict - 2 eggs with smoke atlantic farm salmon on a soggy croissant type muffin? Hollandaise sauce had a sourly taste. Irish breakfast - 2 eggs, bacon, ham, sausage. Eggs were quite oily, sausage was similar to breakfast sausage with unknown ingredients. Bacon and ham were of standard quality. Lots of deep fried potatoes. Service was excellent and environment & atmosphere was excellent! Food is overpriced for the quality. read more

Service was just okay. We would be at the last sip of our pints and have to ask our waiter for another. It wasn't that busy so no excuse for this. Our waiter was really nice and checked up on us enough...minus the drinks. Food was good. I had the Yorkshire pudding which was great and my partner had the cottage pie that was good..maybe a tad dry. For a Thursday night it was pretty steady. This pub is trying to be Irish but trying to please local Vancouverites with their local dishes and local beer... I think they should go for one or the other. I would come back. read more

Nice looking Irish Pub. Great atmosphere. There is a separate upstairs section which is pretty nice. Service was good and friendly and we were seated right away. Live act was playing on a Friday evening and he was pretty good. The food was mediocre. Had the Irish Potato Nachos. It was like eating a a stuff baked potato but "nacho" style. Pretty pricey at $18.95. Had Buttermilk Chicken Tenders. Fries were overly salty and the tenders were frozen(not fresh). Also ordered Smoked Dry Ribs. They didn't have any flavour. I am disappointed since it's nice to have a pub in this area. Unfortunately, I most likely, won't return. read more

The place wasnt full yet it took them 45 minutes to get our food out We ordered the "steak sandwich" which was a greasy bread with a dry piece of meat on top. The Belfast burger" wich was also extreamly dry "Fish and chips" with an unusual thick super greasy batter a horrible salad yuk! No dressing no vinegar no nothing! And from the brunch menu the "French Toast" which was just two slices of white bread with syrup on the side and some pieces of fruit which was the only good thing outbof all of our plates! And even getting our bill took 20 minutes, they claimed no printer was working and even after we paid we didnt get receipt cuz their machines were out of ink! The cute server with red/pink hair was extra nice and kept us happy with regular beer refills and quick wit. Erin I think? I dunno. Either way, that sh** was so good. I overfilled my belly, took it home and ate it the minute I walked in the door. But for seriously tho, dem tacos were a tad pricey. $5 taco and that was the happy hour deal. Genius cuz there ain't any bars around to compete with, but sad that I won't ever try their tacos unless that price gets like the bass and drops. read more

Third time there. Service has gone down with each visit. Arrived on a Friday around 8pm. Seated by the hostess. Reviewed menu and then waited for someone to take our order. Waited ten minutes, while three servers walked by us. No one came to offer us water, drinks or to let us know they would take our order soon. One waitress went to a table at least three or four times to bring their bill, fix their bill and pay their bill. I don't often give a review, We got up to leave and as I handed the hostess back the menus, she was too busy hanging out with that same waitress and talking to some guy. Great place. Came here in the middle of the day for a beer & food and was not disappointed. Prompt & friendly service, a great selection of irish draft beer (I had the Kilkenny) and tasty food ( I had the chicken burger/sandwich & leek soup). We had drinks and burgers before going to a movie at marine gateway. It was POURING rain and the hostess asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside, which was pretty funny given the weather. The waitress was pleasant and the decor was on pointe for an Irish pub. The pub was about 30% full and our food order took forever and then was cold when it arrived at the table. We upgraded to the side ceasar instead of the green salad that came with the burger. It was $2 extra and was quite tiny. We were planning to share, but it was too small for more than a couple of bites each. It's too bad that it wasn't better than it was, because it has a lot of potential. For the money, I would rather have grabbed a sandwich from Subway. read more

Came here with some of my team after our game on a Wed night. It wasn't too busy and we got seated in the room at the back. Nice place. That's where the good ends. The food was ok but super small portions and way overpriced. $22 for the Irish Nachos which is essentially a few potatoes worth of chips and a small sprinkling of cheese and bacon bits. It comes with small bit of salsa and sour cream on the side. And do not get the poke appetizer. For $14, it's about 1 scoop of fish with a few crackers. Teammate got a quinoa bowl with shrimp - came with 4 shrimp and a small portion of quinoa. Think that was $16. Really surprised with the food here! Not your average pub fare AT ALL. Food was fresh, tasty, well presented , and served in a timely manner. Went with the BF, he had the Yorkshire pud w/roast beef, mash and veggies and I had the turkey salad. Both our plates were well portioned and really so so surprised with the presentation, it was defo more upscale than expected(well done chef!) I think one of the best parts of our visit was the servers were genuinely welcoming. Good atmosphere to meet up with friends/family for a casual night. We live close so we will be back to test out other dishes. Looking forward to sitting on the patio when the warmer weather arrives. read more

Strangely inconsistent. The corned beef sandwich was excellent, as were the Yorkshire Pudding and Shepherd's Pie. But the Cabbage Roll was a very disappointing serving. There wasn't much food on the plate, and the cabbage wasn't really rolled. It was just there in a little pile. I can't say I would recommend it. read more

Well, first of all I must say this place is cursed lol....let me explain. All afternoon my fiance and I were shopping and couldn't wait to sit out on the patio. Arrived and the patio looked awesome, but surprisingly empty. We found out that the patio is ready to go but the city hasn't zoned them yet for it SO no one could sit out there lol. We looked over the menu and found the "bar bites" to be really interesting...then found out the one item we were most interested in eating they were out of bahaha. THE PLACE IS GREAT though, our drinks were brilliant and the staff amazing. We didn't eat because we had just finished eating but the food going to tables looked SO delicious we almost ordered something even though we were full. We will DEFINITELY be giving this place another chance, and once that patio opens I predict this place is going to be hopping. If there was an option for less than a star, this location would have received less than a star. I ordered the two piece fish and chips, my portion was less than average and the second piece of fish was mainly all batter.. And the batter was also extremely crunchy. Our waiter was less than trained and every single time I asked him about the menu, he would say things as it's steak on bread. Needless to say I will not be recommending this location to any one. So if you want to come to a location where you get over charged and receive less than satisfactory service than come here. If you'd prefer to save your money and have a good time, go to a different restaurant. There's even a Thai restaurant near the new cineplex!! Would have been better than this restartaunt.. I also ordered a Caesar salad that had no dressing and was six bucks for a starter! Never again! read more

Dublin Crossing is an excellent pub for a large gathering, particularly if you call ahead of time to reserve the library area. The service is excellent and customer-oriented. The atmosphere of this pub is fantastic: the physical setting (old Irish decor, books, posters, etc) feels fairly authentic and very laid back. The live music scheduled throughout the week is another added bonus that helps create a comfortable yet upbeat social environment. The food is delicious (especially the curry poutine, in my personal opinion) and the drink options are great. Menu pricing is reasonable and they have quite a few vegetarian options. I highly recommend this pub for an outing on any day of the week, for a group of any size, really. It's a great location for a date or just a meal with friends, but it was my recent experience in hosting a large party here that really made me appreciative of this business. Check it out! read more
