Today we visit again and it was wonderful. The service offered by Marina, was professional, courteous and diligent. We spent a lovely time and the culinary is delicious and well presented, affordable and generous portions. As usually we will go back again !!

Great date night location. It can be loud at times but the food is good. The service was quick for how packed they were. Middle of the week and they were busy. Great place to come and watch the sun set with the love of your life. Check them out.

Went to Mahony's on a sunny afternoon on a Saturday by waterfront and they had lots of space available. They have two patios and an indoor space. We sat outside to get some vitamin D. For drinks I tried their zero proof hibiscus margarita. It was very refreshing!! I got their spinach artichoke dip with pretzels - it was pretty good! The portion was big, can probably share it amongst 3 people. Their crispy chicken sliders were also pretty good, definitely crispy and sauce was stellar Lastly, we got their veggie burger with fries. Service was good, pretty fast and friendly staff. A good place to chill during the summer if you're ever by waterfront

We ended up here by mistake and Im so glad that we did! We were expecting diner quality of food, but we're pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food is. The service was nice even though we were expecting beratement from the signa on the Wall. There was a lovely jukebox which had a really diverse set of music. The only complaint is that there tables were a bit small.

Seafood chowder was really good. I do wish it came with some sort of bread though.

I recently went to Mahony's Tavern by Canada Place downtown in Vancouver for a Women in Business Lunch & Connect. I got their delicious seafood chowder. Flavour was great. There could have been more seafood in it though, and would have been nice if it came with some sort of bread (not just croutons). Service was fine, and it's a great location. They have several things on the menu I'd like to try. If you find yourself by Vancouver's Coal Harbour waterfront, Mahoney's Tavern is a great option.

Found Mahony's based on recommendation from Visitors booth in the convention center. We chose an Outdoor table where we were able to watch cruise ships, sea planes, helicopters, ferry boats and more! My chicken sliders were crispy and delicious! The pretzel bites were a nice app to share. Our server was friendly and helpful. If you are near Canada Place in Vancouver, stop into Mahony's Tavern, you will be glad you did.

This was one of those situations where you turn chicken you-know-what into chicken salad. We woke up early to go watch the Arsenal game at the local supporters pub.. but they were closed. So we walked through the cold rainy streets of Vancouver desperately looking for a place to watch the game. Enter Mahony's Tavern. The location couldn't have been any better, right next to the beautiful Coal Harbor on a chilly cloudy day with the fog over the mountains in the distance, it was picturesque. We go inside to a mostly empty pub and lo and behold, a large assortment of screens showing my beloved Gunners as they dismantled West Ham.. lol. We sat at the bar and had the absolute best experience with Ryan. He was incredibly friendly, upbeat and charismatic. Made sense that the lad was Irish. We split a breakfast burger and were pleasantly surprised at the great quality of ingredients. The burger was well put together and tastier than any food I've ever had at a bar/pub before. Not to mention the crisp Stella Artois that just completed the experience. Maybe I was just so happy to be in Vancouver, next to beautiful sights, watching my favorite team and throughly enjoying the moment.. but Mahony's is the kind of place you want to go every weekend with your friends to escape. Next time I'm in Vancouver, I'll surely be back. Greetings from your friends in Houston, TX

Just had appetizers, but the calamari was very good, we asked for them to put the cilantro on the side they did. The dipping sauce had a nice flavor to it. The serving size was very good. Stopped for a beer and a mixed drink. The local Amber beer was very good. Nice crisp taste to it. Friendliness of the staff 5 out of 10. I found some of the staff very unfriendly, if they bumped into you, they did not say excuse me or apologize. I realize that may not be a custom in Vancouver, however, it's a human courtesy to be apologetic and to say excuse me. I gave our server 8 out of 10 because he checked on us. Our server however, gets a 8 out of 10. The quality of food 10 out of 10, quantity of food 10 out of 10. Atmosphere 8 out of 10. space is plentiful for outside dining and relaxing drink.

The location of this place is 5 star, beautiful view. The bar itself looks very nice on the inside. The menu didn't really appeal to us, and the prices seemed high for what it was, but to be expected in a tourist spot. We had drinks and enjoyed the water. Service was fantastic!

Solid spot. Was in Vancouver for the night and glad I stumbled across this place. Sat at the bar with no wait. Bartender was extremely nice and great with his recommendations. Food was delicious and priced well. The views of the bay are awesome as well! Overall a great spot for food. Would not hesitate to come back if I was visiting this area again.

We went here on a Monday for lunch. It wasn't too crowded or loud. We were seated quickly and sat inside since it was a little chilly outside. Mahony's had a good atmosphere. Our server was nice. She was friendly and polite. Our food was delicious. The burgers tasted much better than most tavern/bar burgers. The Philly cheesesteak was a knock off. It wasn't Philly style. It didn't have the correct toppings or the correct type of meat. Overall it was a fine sandwich, just don't label it as a Philly cheesesteak. I recommend coming here. It's right next to the cruise terminal (Canada Place).

This place is right next to the water and you can watch the seaplanes land and takeoff. The view is priceless. The food is delicious. I ordered a Bloody Caesar with Clamato juice. My favorite way to drink Bloody Mary. I also got the ahi tuna poke bowl which had rice sesame miso cucumbers grilled pineapple salsa and crunchy onions. Lip smacking good Enjoy the view and eat fantastic food

Haven't been here in so long but popped in with the Yelp group! It was nice that they were able to accommodate such a large group. The drink and food menu is standard pub fare but the items were quite good! I got the moscow mule and it was nice and spicy with the ginger beer, which I really enjoyed. The food was tasty as well - the nachos, pizza, and wings were my favorite!

Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. One of the coolest things about Steamworks is the history behind the brewery. The brewery was originally inspired by Gastown's famous steam clock and historically used steam power in its brewing operations. Even today, steam remains part of the brewing process, helping heat the brewing kettles and connecting the brewery to the neighborhood's industrial heritage. Of course, the beer is the star of the show. Fresh, flavorful, and brewed on-site, it's hard to beat enjoying a pint in the heart of Gastown. If it's your first visit, I highly recommend getting the 10-beer flight. It's a fun way to sample a wide range of their brews and find a few favorites without committing to a full pint. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a great meal with excellent service, Steamworks is well worth a visit.

Our server suggested that, because it was happy hour, a pitcher would be cheaper and save us money. I specifically asked how many ounces the pitcher was and was told 32 oz, which sounded reasonable since we planned to get 15 oz beers. When the pitcher arrived, it was clearly 64 oz. The server apologized for the mistake, and I let it go, thinking we didn't have to drink it all. However, when the bill arrived, the price didn't match the quote. We were charged $25, not the $20 we were originally told when the 64-oz pitcher showed up, with the explanation that the regular price was $35 and that we had "saved" money. In the end, we were served twice the beer we wanted and paid twice what we intended, based on information that kept changing. Whether this was incompetence or intentional, it left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. The food and atmosphere really were great -- but the experience was overshadowed by feeling manipulated. Enjoy the food and beer, but pay close attention to what the wait staff tells you and what ends up on the bill.

Firstly when we arrived nobody greeted us for I would say about 10 minutes even though the place was quite empty when we arrived, and when we finally received a table we were seated at a table that was wobbly, and the menus we received were stained and sticky, which got me immediately on edge about hygiene and made me uncomfortable. For drinks selection - nothing special that you can't get anywhere else, and the place being quite empty the vibe was quite boring too. I just felt uncomfortable being there and there isn't anything special about this pub that you can't get better anywhere else. We finished the one drink that we got and headed elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this spot.

This corner spot is neatly tucked away with a few outdoor seating spots, but the magic in itself is inside. The mix of vintage and old glam showcases the hybrid aesthetic. Perfectly described, The Ballyhoo definitely lives up to the over-the-top decor from their food offerings and styling. I managed to find myself arriving within happy hour and was super please I was able to bring my laptop out and get some work done without it causing anyone a fuss. The server I had was super friendly and she had all the tables she was handling in good spirit. After opting for a local draft beer and some bites, I kept over hearing how delicious the mozz sticks were. Now IDK how one levels up mozzarella sticks, but these truly were some of the best I've ever had. The dipping sauce was super spicy but bearable for anyone's heat preference and the breading and cheese inside had such a burst of flavor you wanted to simply inhale them. What had me in awe though was the cheese pull game. No need to fear about them being overdone not cooked enough, these babies were cooked to perfection with the cheese literally oozing out of each bite. I saw a few plates being served around and think this spot is definitely worth exploring.
