Did you know that Duchess Cookies is the home of the $1,000 cookie?! Sadly, I wasn't able to get one of these when I tried then out for the first time this past weekend, LOL! Instead I ordered a box of four cookies: Chocolate Chip, Cookie Monster, Pistachio White Chocolate Twizzle and a Banana Nut Cookie Butter. When I visited, the store had just opened for the day, so all of the cookies were fresh and warm from the oven. The centers were gooey and soft while the outside was crunchy. Overall, I really enjoyed the cookies. The Cookie Monster had a chocolate chip cookie dough center and a sugar cookie outer shell. The Banana Nut cookie had a penut butter center. Located on the second floor of Roosevelt Field Mall, this Duchess Cookies location has been open since July. Cookies range from $3.75-$4.75 so they are on the pricier side. Luckily, the cookies are quite large, very pretty and not to mention tasty. These cookies are a nice option if your looking to treat yourself or looking for a nice gift.

I took a trip to Roosevelt Field from Queens and as I was on my way out I spied the giant Duchess logo, and I did such a sharp left turn mid-stride, my head almost broke off my neck. I was like, is this what I think it is? I've frequented several locations, specifically the ones in Gansevoort Market and Penn Station, both of which were just small kiosk-type stands and not full stores, and now both closed. I've been working from home for the past two years and never thought I'd have a Duchess Cookie again. I waa so excited to see a full store with so many flavor options! The kiosk versions only had several types on any given day, but today I was able to try some that I've had my eye on but never had the chance to grab! I got: churro, blueberry cheesecake, and cotton candy. They're on the pricier end for cookies: $4.50 each, but they're pretty large and can be cut in several pieces to save for later. I keep mine in the fridge and then throw them in the microwave when I want a piece. Churro didn't really taste like a churro, but it has a nice caramel center, cotton candy was LEGIT, I felt like I was actually eating one. It is super, super sweet. Blueberry cheesecake has a smooth, creamy blueberry cheesecake interior, while the cookie has dried blueberry pieces in batter. The blueberry flavor really stood out. Having a Duchess on Long Island is very exciting since I'm there frequently.

So as I was leaving the mall I saw & smelled the most heavenly smell. As we walked in an was greeted by the 2 beautiful mom & daughter behind the counter, they matched my excitement as a 1st timer to there establishment, I'm gonna show you my picture but know I came home a tasted almost every cookie before I remembered to take this picture. 5stars all around. Definitely go here & treat yourself

This place is in a complete hidden area so a lot of people don't notice it while walking around the mall. I happened to find it while walking to a different store. The smell of the cookies dragged me into the store to try it out! There were different varieties of cookies but we picked the chocolate chip. It was just made so it was very warm and soft. There was also melted chocolate inside which was the best part. The price was kinda too high for one cookie honestly. But the taste is pretty good so it's upto you if you want to spend 4 dollars on one cookie or not. Overall i loved it.

A random pick while walking in the mall. I had the oatmeal apple pie cookie & my friend had the red velvet cheesecake cookie! Not bad but not extremely great. We gave it a 5/10. Cute vibe k& I'm sure other flavors may be worth trying. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

When I go to any mall , I love checking out the sweet spots. I was excited to go here when I walked by. I even saved it for last and everything , but unfortunately this place did not hit the spot. Cookies were dry as hell and not tasty. We got the s'mores , strawberry peanut butter , apple pie and the blueberry cheesecake and only the s'mores one was half decent in taste. Overall I say skip this place. Ps. The prices online are different from in store . Almost 6 dollars in the store for a cookie.

The center man was nasty., very bad service the cookies not worth $9.80. Very expensive . I had the Pistachio was very Joey and gooey.

    Very dry Oatmeal Rasin cookie

Super expensive, tasteless cookie. These cookies were very expensive 3 cookies for $20. Oatmeal raisin was very dry and un-sweet. Unicorn & Cotton candy were also a disappointment. I will not be returning here, and I do NOT recommend. Very unhappy with the quality.

    Chocolate pecan with fudge filling

I was looking forward to trying these cookies for a long time and was pretty disappointed. At first sight they looked enticing and delicious. I opted for the chocolate pecan filled with fudge. It was very moist, which was a plus. Unfortunately the cookie was overly sweet and the "fudge" tasted more like pudding. Perhaps I chose the wrong one and should give it one more try.

While on a corner on a pretty busy street, the location seemed slightly obscure. No parking - just 2 or 3 spots in front of the establishment. We came mid-day on a gloomy Sunday in February...so we didn't have an issue parking right in the front. We were greeted by the friendly associate. There were lots of great-looking gelato flavors which the associate also allowed us to sample first (very kind). She was very patient with us and really seemed to enjoy working there. We're BIG hazelnut enthusiasts, so we each had one scoop of hazelnut flavor and one of the Rocher (hazelnut) flavor. They also had an amazing fig and honey gelato flavors which was absolutely delicious. They offer 4 sizes - kids' size, and then the usual - small, medium and large. The small is 2 generous scoops - and that's what we went with. The overall experience didn't disappoint at all; we thoroughly enjoyed the treat, my hubby had an espresso coffee as well (very good) and we got a kids cup of vanilla for our pup. The prices were also decent and for this type of experience, I will gladly support a small business. I definitely recommend checking out this little gem. Will return once the weather get warmer!

The cookies are exactly how they should be: warm, soft, and fresh out of the oven. My favorites are the classic chocolate chunk and the snickerdoodle, but honestly everything I've tried has been great. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even with a bunch of people coming in. Another huge plus is that they stay open late. Places that serve warm cookies at 2 or 3 in the morning are rare out here, so this spot is definitely going to be a go-to for late-night cravings. If you've had Insomnia in the city, you'll be happy to see it on Long Island. If you've never tried it before, this is the perfect excuse. Definitely worth the visit.

It has been on their menu from the time I bought my first Insomnia cookie. Someone decided in their infinite wisdom, to take this item off the menu. Why? It is a popular cookie.
