I feel like these are put in a microwave. Store was clean and not too busy I was waited on promptly and didn't wait too long for my order. The donuts are reasonably priced ($1.65), however, some of the toppings (sprinkles and Oreos) are sparse. They were ready about 6 minutes after ordering them online. I can't believe it took me this long to go to Duck Donuts. I happened to be near the post office on Wrenn and they were just calling my name. Since I have never been to Duck Donuts, the gentleman at the counter was very kind in explaining the options. Social distancing is in place and everyone was wearing masks. When I had the donut at home, the soft, warm, melt-in-your mouth flavor was still fresh and the 6 donuts did not last long. Having moved here recently, the concept of only plain cake donuts is new to me. Personally, I suppose I like yeast donuts along with chocolate cake donuts. I liked the atmosphere of the place and like that they also donate to nonprofits too. I noticed that the glaze seems to melt somewhat within a few minutes since they put it onto warm donuts, I don't think that changed the flavor though.
