It took me a while to decide on which of the contenders I wanted but I settled on the Maple and Bacon. It was the right choice & it was delicious. The only reason they receive 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that most of the donuts aren't real good heated over. Both times were Saturday mornings. Near the entrance are pencils and order lists. You grab one of each and mark off what you want, then give it to the person at the register. It's that simple, but you really don't have to do all that as long as you know what you want. If you're stammering or stumbling in your indecisiveness, they will assuredly skip to the next person while you rethink your life. Be prepared. I ordered one dozen of all different flavors/assortments. It's basically one recipe with varied coatings and toppings. My favorite is the Maple Icing. Lots of people love that with the bacon topping, but not me. I think that's ridiculous. How they're made: fried in a soy based shortening and contain wheat and corn flour, soybean oil, nonfat dry milk, egg yolks and beta carotene. As with any meal, consider the ingredients if you have nut or gluten allergies. Best part? It's all made to order. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! No already made donuts that have been sitting around waiting for you to buy here as they are made once you order them. What's the process like you ask? Well, you step inside and are warmly greeted and asked what donuts you'd like. This process can be confusing so they have a handy order form for you to fill out where you can select your glaze flavor and/or toppings--just depends on what you'd like! I've tried different flavors but I love their maple icing with bacon! So delicious I've gotten it each time I went! I've also tried their peanut butter icing with peanuts, their powdered sugar, their cinnamon sugar and regular glaze and enjoyed them all. Just a warning, their donuts are cake donuts so they're a bit heavier than Krispy Kreme's glazed donuts (just a comparison).
