The place is very nice and clean, and the service was very quick and convenient with ordering from the tablet. The server was very nice and helpful. But the donuts weren't that impressive ! The sparkling drinks were delicious though..

I come to mochinut whenever I'm craving a sweet treat. I went with my friend last night and we got the 6 donut pack with 6 different flavors that we got to choose from which is amazing! We tried all of the flavors my personal favorite was the red velvet donut it was flavorful and sweet! We also got the strawberry cookie milk tea with boba of course and it was amazing like always. The staff is always lovely there! Overall, my friend and I enjoyed ourselves there while trying all the donut flavors and our delicious milk tea! I Recommend if anyone craves a sweet treat this is the spot!

Mochinut is located towards the end of a plaza, near Sodabox. There is plenty of parking and some steps to walk up right in front of the business, otherwise you can go towards the sides of store if you cannot do steps. The stop was not busy when I came around 6:30pm on a Saturday. I ordered on 1 of the 3 tablets they have right in front of the donut case. Ordering was very easy and they have pictures which makes it very helpful. I ordered a milk tea, brown sugar Thai tea, and ube with tapioca pearls, Cookie Monster mochi donut, and Cheeto dusted half and half hotdog. The drinks were a bit heavy with floral notes for me and the tapioca was flavorless and felt fluffy vs chewy. The donut was amazing and the hotdog stole the show! The cheese pull was amazing and the hot Cheeto dust added a nice touch and was not too spicy at all. The employees were welcoming and very quick with fulfilling the order. The inside of the shop was relaxed and a great place to sit and enjoy my treats.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon. The service was excellent and Riley and Rika were friendly (apologies for any misspellings of names). Very nice place and the food choices are extremely unique. The space is clean, with trendy Instagramable decor and limited seating. I enjoy being open to trying new things. The half-and-half-hot dog was a surprisingly acquired taste for me. There was a burst of flavor after I got used to the initial bite. I enjoyed the raspberry mochi donut. Very light and crispy not as expected but decent as a first try. Not sure how to address the freshness. Everything I tried wasn't piping hot even though I waited for my hotdog to be prepared. Overall, for what this event was I rate 4*.

Great experience here. Enjoyed 3 mochi donut flavors and loved them all. The service was great. The young lady who rang us up.was very polite and helpful with recommendations. We asked her to choose her favorite 3 flavors or most popular. She chose the lychee watermelon, pumpkin spice, and churro funnel cake donuts. They did not dissapoint. They are ready to order and on display. There didn't look to be many left and it was close to closing time so I was expecting them to be stale but they were very fresh and soft and the flavors were strong and amazing! They can be a little messy so bring sanitizer as you hands will get sticky. The space was nicely decorated and menu (with prices) was largely displayed on the wall for fast ordering. They offer 2 digital kiosks and the counter checkout as well. Overall great experience. Not close to home but good enough and different enough that I'd come back.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL VEGANS! - this Mochinut location has vegan-friendly Korean corn dogs five of them! Now online they don't state which sauces are vegan nor do they indicate if the sugar is vegan, but I've asked multiple times and maybe the owner can confirm (yes we are crazy ): SAUCES - ketchup, mustard, sriracha, sweet chili Sugar - sugarfied All the dogs are vegan Morningstar farms veggie dogs. If the owner sees this, please reply with verified vegan-friendly (no meat or any animal ingredients) sauces and sugar, thanks!

I wanted to try the mochi donuts out. And they were so good. I forgot all the flavors I got, but it was delicious. When you go in you order on a kiosk and your food will be made by a employee. It was so fast! There are a couple of tables to sit inside. But everything was nice a clean! So if you wanna try some mochi donuts and are in the area, stop by and give it a try!!! Cause I did!!!!!!

The interior for Mochinut is so cute! It's very well decorated and makes for a fun hang out spot with friends. I also love the self-ordering option at the front. It took about 15 minutes for us to receive 3 donuts, which was a pretty long time -- but could be because they opened recently. The donuts themselves were delicious, it was hard to stop eating them. We got the strawberry funnel cake, brown sugar, and crème brûlée donuts. They were delicious. Will come back again to try their hotdogs!

I'm very excited for this place to gather its footing and become more efficient. The inside of the store is very aesthetically pleasing, you can tell that they did a lot to make sure that the photos you take here would be very nice. There is very little seating inside, so expect to be standing around if there is a crowd. Mochi donuts are a novelty item, and the price reflects that, I ordered 3 donuts, and each of them came out to be around $3.33. The 3 flavors I got were raspberry funnel cake, brown sugar, and creme brulee. I have to say, out of those 3, my favorite was the brown sugar. It seems like the flavors rotate, so I can't guarantee that you will be able to order the same things that I got. The fun with mochi donuts is that they are crispy on the outside and a bit chewy on the inside. The problem with this is that you need to let the donut cool before you can achieve this balance, so I feel like there is a bit of a hold-up regarding this. We ordered our donuts, and it took around 15 minutes before we could pick ours up. I've also heard from others that letting the donuts sit a little longer can make the texture and taste stand out more, but your mileage may vary. The box is very nice and has some cool illustrations on the outside, I think this would be a very fun treat to bring to the office or a special occasion. I'm excited to see how they optimize their cooking process and add more items to their menu. I saw that they are adding Korean corn dogs soon and have some drink options available as well.

This place is so cute! Very clean as well. My friend and I went in with a lot of questions and the girl in the front answered everything for us, so shoutout to her. Their online presence is a little lacking; the website shows a list of donut flavors but not all are listed. From the 6 flavors they had today, only two of them are on the website. They also only list 8 drinks on the menu but there are a lot more to choose from so don't be scared if the website is your reference point. When walking in, there are 3 screens: donut flavors, Korean corn dogs, and teas. I was under the impression that the drinks on the screen was all they had but you have to go to the kiosk tablet thing to see the full menu. Let's dive into the food. I love the shape of a mochi donut. It's perfect for sharing or ripping off a bite sized ball without having to take messy bites. The dough itself was nice. I think it's comparable to a Krispy kreme but chewier (not in a bad way though). I like that their flavors change weekly. My favorite was the red velvet. It had a thick glaze and was subtly chocolatey. The cinnamon roll was also nice with the cream cheese drizzle. I'm not a connoisseur of Korean corn dogs but these seemed to be good as any. They give you lots of options for dipping sauces too. No complaints here! Lastly, and perhaps the underdog, was the tea. Even if it was nasty, the packaging would have me buying it again. They seal it with a can lid so you open it like a soda. Very fun experience and something I've never seen another boba shop do. As for the actual tea, I was enticed by the mermaid. There was no description and the girl said a few things but didn't seem too sure. I got it anyway because it was pretty. It ended up tasting really good! I got it lightly sweetened and it was pretty lychee forward. I know they also add blue curaçao syrup into it. I would highly recommend it! Overall, I would recommend this place. I wasn't blown away by the food but I'm also not a huge donut person. The boba is worth trying tho!

I've been here a few times and really love everything about this place. I brought a friend who was visiting and she got a peach drink that she loved. We shared the churro caramel and chocolate doughnuts. I didn't care for the caramel flavor but the dark chocolate was delicious. You place your own order at a kiosk and they assemble then call your name. Really easy. The bathrooms are very clean as is the store. I just love this place and highly recommend it. We didn't get the Korean dogs today but I've had them and love them also!

This is the first Mochinut in NC! Woohoo! I went to their grand opening to support and boy it was so packed. (Sold out around 4pm.) My favorite flavors are the matcha and cookie & cream mochi donuts! I promise those won't disappoint! Tip: They have new flavors and rotate them so make sure to follow Mochinut Cary for updates! Donuts: out of this world. They will melt in your mouth! Milk Tea: the matcha milk tea was interesting. I will have to try the Ube one next time to have a final review on their drinks. Atmosphere: very aesthetically pleasing and busy Staff: nice and friendly! If you haven't tried these donuts yet, you have to!

Atmosphere: Mochinut is a new shop serving mochi donuts, drinks, and Korean corn dogs. There are only a few areas to sit inside, so we'd recommend planning for takeout during busier hours. Service: At times it can be a bit slow, but overall we've had pleasant experiences at Mochinut. Food: We've tried several of their mochi donut flavors, but our favorites have been the Milk Pebble, White Chocolate, and Matcha. Generally, we've enjoyed the donuts with more frosting on top since the ones not covered in a glaze tend to be drier and not as flavorful. We also have tried their potato hot dog with sausage and cheese. It's served hot and crispy! We recommend their house sauce on the side. Overall: Mochinut has quickly become a go-to spot for a quick treat or an appetizer. We love how they have rotating flavors, especially the ones that are themed for different seasons. We recommend giving them a try, though we've found their food options to be more noteworthy than their drinks.

Great, lofty space...and nicely decorated throughout. Now comes all the disappointments. First of all, I was the one customer when I stopped in around 2:30 pm...and while the place itself was nice, it felt kind of stale. Total silence...no music. I also noticed that they changed things...for the worse. They no longer had on the menu this trio sampler that I had my heart set on. Also, I didn't find their drink menu that appetizing. Also, everything was now served in paper cartons...not actual plates and cups. This is a running pet peeve of mine. Since Covid, many cafes and bakeries have downscaled on cups, plates and utensils...to serve everything in cheap to-go wares. I expect that type of vibe at fast foods, like McDonald's and Taco Bell...not nice cafes and bakeries. I ordered this soupy dessert (forgot the name), along with this Crepe Cake, and this Mango Fruity drink. Truly, each and every item was forgettable. Just not that good. Then the service... dead-pan. The lady at the counter had this rude-cold demeanor, and did not flick even a slight smile even once. So yeah...NOT great all around. Aside from the place being so attractive, the foods, the presentation and the service was far below what you'd expect from a nice cafe-bakery. A huge disappointment.

Went in after eating down the street with a couple friends as when we passed we all realized we wanted something sweet. However, we were also quite full so we decided we'd just get a single milkshake and split it. We ordered one and without us even saying anything the worker asked "would you like to split that?" A bit confused I asked what she meant and she explained they can split the drink, into small cups, just the same amount split into multiple small cups. It was absolutely perfect, and it wasn't simply just poured into small cups, they were adorned like a full size shake (whipped cream and garnish and all), at no additional cost! Absolutely love this offering and it seems so obvious everybody should be doing this now. It's so simple but honeslty made all of ours day. Because sometimes you want just a little bit, and I understand not selling that small of a size but if I'm ordering a large one to split, pre splitting it into multiple cups is fantastic. Ok now to quickly review the rest. The interior space was large, plenty of seating for groups of all sizes. The decor was quite nice, clean and modern while maintaining a fun character. The case was full of incredible looking treats from chocolates to stroopwaffels and the milkshake options were plentiful with something for everybody. The one we ended up getting was a tad on the sweeter side imo but that also may just be the flavor we got (was still quite good). The prices were a tad leaning towards the higher side but still reasonable, and the service was incredibly friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend and will likely return.
