I love a good donut and these do NOT disappoint. Tasty at the very first bite!!! The service was quick and on point, and while there is not much ambiance to be had at a donut shop, I do not care when it's a perfect sweet treat! A must revisit!!! It was also a busy little place so I will get my order in sooner rather than later!!!

I consider myself to be a bit of a donut connoisseur, and these donuts didn't disappoint! Arrived at 11am on a Saturday and there were plenty of donuts in the case. We were the only customers there. I ordered my go-to: glazed vanilla cream filled. You get to watch as they fill the donuts right in front of you. The donut was nice and light and fluffy. Not greasy. The filling was perfect, but I wouldn't have complained if there was a tiny bit more. We will be back!!

Plenty of seating but u gonna have to leave so u can get some water or coffee to wash these bad boys down! Not bad customer service- no frills. Just good donuts handed to u... no smile or extra talk. Just take the good donut and go.

That being said, we got half a dozen donuts, two cream-filled donuts, which they do at the time of purchase, which is pretty cool, and an apple fritter. The apple fritter was for a snack for me, but me and my wife tasted it on the way home, and only a small bite was left for me when I got to my driveway. I live 10 minutes from their shop which is in an old shopping center off 54. Nothing special about the location, really, but the filled, glazed, and fritters were very good. This means I don't have to go back to Dunkin anymore :) I will have to go earlier and try more stuff next time.

Absolutely incredible donuts. Fresh, soft, and perfectly sweet without being overpowering. Every bite tastes homemade. Highly recommend!!

imma be real. i'm a donut connoisseur and these were just okay. we came in around noon on a saturday and they were almost sold out (which was kind of weird considering they close at 6?). the guy helping us was so nice. we ended up getting an old fashioned, blueberry cake and chocolate cake. the old fashioned was crunchy and not that great. chocolate cake didn't taste like anything at all. blueberry was probably the best but it still wasn't anything over a 6/10. maybe it's because we got there too late ? not sure... probably won't be back

We had already started eating the donuts before I took a picture but wicked yummy! Fluffy and soft and the flavors were great! We were greeted by a smiley face and left very happy. We will definitely be back :)

The doughnuts are absolutely amazing! I always get a strawberry and a chocolate cake doughnut. They are always fresh. The staff is always very friendly and patient....especially because I never know what I want but then I get the same 2 doughnuts lol. It's located in a very convenient place for me. It's on my way to work..smile. the restaurant is always clean. They haven't seen the last of me. Sorry no pics...I always.forget to take one because the doughnuts are so good and I just can't wait to take a bite! read more

Great donuts, great value! If you have to provide a dozen donuts for the office, these won't break the bank ($15) like some fancy donuts I've tried recently. But they are made fresh every day and the chocolate glazed was the lightest and fluffiest donut I've ever had. The chocolate cake donut was decent as well. I love that they throw in a handful of donut holes with a dozen (also good :)) read more

That being said, we got half a dozen donuts, two cream-filled donuts, which they do at the time of purchase, which is pretty cool, and an apple fritter. The apple fritter was for a snack for me, but me and my wife tasted it on the way home, and only a small bite was left for me when I got to my driveway. I had Carolina Glazed Donuts at a work meeting and I couldn't stop thinking about them! I attempted to visit on a Friday night but they were sold out by the time I arrived, it was just before closing time so totally understandable. My second attempt I went around 2pm on a Saturday, there still wasn't much to choose from but I got my Boston Cream so that's all that matters! Once again these donuts didn't disappoint. Note to self; get up and go early for more options. read more

If you are coming here, you are getting donuts period. Thats what they do thats what they are good at. The donuts themselves have a good variety from bear claws to apple fritters and donut holes, each type is quality donut and I have heard nothing but praise from the coworkers. They will also fill them with jelly in front of you if you prefer. I wish they had a website to order in advance but they have never been low or out of any of their product when I have gotten donuts for my office. Ambiance is no nonsense (you go in, look at the glass cabinet to make your choice and get out) My current visit where the lady in front of me ordered 4 dozen, I ordered 2 dozen, the person behind ordered 3 etc was very fast and everyone got the donuts they wanted. They are used to people coming in for office treats but will absolutely serve you whatever quantity you need. Overall recommend. read more

These are delicious doughnuts! I love raised yeast doughnuts & this is only 1 of 4 places that make great ones in the region. Get them to go. Not a great deal of room or ambiance to hang out in the place. All 5 stars are for the doughnuts. read more

There's nothing better than a really good donut and a fine cup of coffee on a brisk Saturday morning. So this morning, I ventured out on a 20 minute drive to Carolina Glazed because of the reviews I read. The place is an unassuming, no frills donut shop. I basically missed it and had to drive around in the strip mall wondering if I was in the right location. But am I glad I found it! The donuts are so fluffy and soft and...and...and...good! The texture and consistency was just perfect. I couldn't wait and consumed a glazed donut while I was driving home. I had pulled out a napkin spread out ready to catch the mess. To my surprise, nothing. None of the glaze flaked off! Even better! The lady threw in some donut holes with my dozen and they weren't the same as the donuts. I had to stop myself from polishing off the entire dozen!! read more

I was told that the donuts were very good & was not disappointed. I went at 11 am after an appointment & did not know if there would be donuts left. I was pleasantly surprised as there was still a very good selection of both yeast & cake donuts. I chose the 1/2 dozen mixed glazed donuts and the price quite reasonable. The counter person greeted me as I entered the shop and answered my questions. Try it out & I know you will have a great experience! read more

Donuts are fire! It got 3 stars because if they sell out of donuts and/or close early, you won't know until AFTER you get there. I tried going 2 days in a row and got so frustrated lol. They don't have a social media presence to update customers about any closures for the day & the phone really doesn't work. I suggest going early in the morning but I've had people I know snag some in the afternoon too. Just depends I guess. Overall, the donuts are great! Definitely better than Dunkin Donuts & Duck Donuts and offer more variety + options than a Krispy Kreme. They had other types of donuts but I forgot to take a picture of everything they offer. I love how you can decide what flavor you want to stuff your doughnut with. I am not a jelly person, so I did the vanilla frosting... so bomb! read more

How am I just finding this location? What a treat! There is a good selection of doughnuts for all to try - fresh and yummy! We got a half dozen this time that cost about $8 in total. We didn't get anything filled on this trip - so that might change the pricing (just be mindful). The staff was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had about any of the donuts. Parking wasn't hard and the location is very simple to find. If you enjoy Baker's Dozen, I believe you will enjoy this restaurant as well. NOW, they do have a different donut profile, however, if you like the fresh made that day, simple yet yummy donut - they would be your places to go. Unlike Baker's Dozen, the donuts here are a little lighter and not as sweet. Its the perfect combo! They have a really good chew to them and stretch (I am drooling as I type this...) The only one that I wasn't toooooo happy about was the apple fritter. It was alittle tooo crunchy for me - as if it had been cooked to long. Outside of that, I would get any of these again! An surely would recommend them to anyone in town wanting a quick pick me up :P read more

I would have taken a picture, but they were gone in a flash!! Half a dozen "big" doughnuts and a dozen doughnut holes for $11.49! Great price, great service and oh so yummy doughnuts! It's dangerous knowing that they are within 5 mins from work, as I will be stopping by more frequently. If you're looking for a sweet treat in the morning, I highly recommend you stop in. You will not be disappointed! read more

I've driven by plenty of times but never had an opportunity to stop. My youngest son had the bright idea to grab donuts in a tropical storm. I thought he would forget that we had talked about it right after breakfast. Just as the weather was tuning up, he gave me puppy eyes and off we went. I am so glad I listened. They have a great assortment of both cake and yeast donuts plus fritters. You can fill a donut or have both cake and yeast donuts covered in frosting with or without sprinkles. I had to fight my son not to eat both of his donuts immediately. They are worth the trip. Great parking right in front and lots of options. Go make a trip! read more

Carolina Glazed Donuts has such great reviews that I had to go check it out for myself! It's tucked away in a strip mall and honestly it's not the fanciest on the inside. BUT please give it a chance and I promise you, the doughnuts will be worth it! I got a single doughnut for my first visit just to try it out, and so I opted for the original glazed. It was incredible - just the right amount of sweet, soft, and doughy. So good and so cheap. I'm really excited to go back to try more flavors. read more

10/10 for taste, because it is hard to get here during early hours for my particular schedule, personally it's a 4.5/5. But the hours and limits of available donuts are the nature of a fresh donut shop so my Yelp rating remains a 5/5 stars. If I have to give one item of feedback to the location, it would be amazing if they had a true website or even a social media site that had their true hours and up to date news. Nothing fancy, but a simple website with current contact information and hours particularly if they're going to close. But all of the above is absolutely worth it for the amazing taste of these donuts!! There isn't a wrong option! But the maple, strawberry, and Boston crème are the literal best! read more

This is a little donut shop tucked away in RTP. I had several people tell me about it, and I decided to make the trip there to try it myself. I would say it was well worth it! The shop is located in an strip mall. It's not upscale looking. However, for this place you're going for the tasty donuts and not the ambiance. If you do choose to stay and eat, there is plenty of parking and a good amount of booth seating inside. The donuts are really delicious. They're a reliable kind of good. Nothing fancy, just a big, sweet donut that tastes fresh. The donuts are all classic flavors and options. The best part is you can custom fill some of the donuts at no extra charge. My personal favorite is the maple bar with bavarian cream. I'd also recommend the bear claw and the apple fritter. Lastly, the guy behind the counter was super friendly! He asked us how our day was going, and made out trip visit feel very special. read more

This particular morning, I knew I wanted to stop by Trader Joe's afterward, but they weren't open yet. So I pulled up the map looking for a coffee shop where I could get a little coworking done. Thousand Hills Coffee popped up, and it had been on my "need to try" list for a while. I also shot my buddy KH a quick text to see if he wanted to join me and catch up on our latest ultra running training shenanigans. Thankfully, he was game. I rolled in around 8:30 a.m. and managed to grab a decent parking spot. Worth mentioning because the coffee shop shares parking with the apartment complex next door, so I imagine spaces can disappear quickly. KW arrived a few minutes before me and had to park a bit farther away. Walking inside, I immediately liked the vibe. It feels modern but still cozy, almost like someone's really well-designed living room. There are several distinct seating areas, plenty of soft chairs, a long community table, and even bar seating overlooking the baristas. It struck a nice balance between coffee shop and comfortable workspace. Since I'd already knocked out my morning run, I was ready for a little breakfast. KH and I both ordered the cheese, Danish. It looked huge in the display case, though it shrank a bit once it made it onto the plate. That said, it was really flavorful and definitely worth ordering. I also grabbed a regular drip coffee, which was excellent. My timing was amusing because they had just finished the last pot and were brewing a fresh one, but honestly, getting a fresh cup probably worked out for the best. We grabbed chairs next to the long community table instead at the table since the morning sun was already heating things up. We spent a while catching up, talking running, races, and all the usual endurance athlete nonsense. After KH headed out, I relocated to the long table that was in the shade and spent another hour or so catching up on emails and getting a little work done. It turned out to be a great co-working spot with plenty of room to spread out without feeling like you were taking up space. One last shoutout to the staff, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Good coffee is one thing, but great people always make the experience better. Overall, I came away impressed. Somehow, they've been open for about two years, and I'm honestly not sure how they managed to stay off my radar for so long. Safe to say they'll be making it into my regular rotation whenever I need a good cup of coffee and a comfortable place to get some work done.

During the height of the pandemic, they offered free bagged lunch to anyone who needed one. They also were (are?) part of the pilot project for Durham's guaranteed income. It looks to me that the owners/company are concerned about being good citizens of the community and that's a great thing. These days, so many companies get bought out by private equity companies. I hope this bakery continues to be locally owned and operated! (Also, generally this bakery isn't offering the very fancy European/European-ish style pastries which is fine by me. The prices are very reasonable, possibly in part because they aren't trying to make their baked goods a "high end" item. There are other good local bakeries that offer "high end" pastries, but they are also much less affordable and for my taste, too rich.)
