Maple bacon: maple icing with chopped bacon
    Ben L.

I kept hearing about duck donuts and how good it was. Finally stopped by and was very impressed! They greeted me when I first came in, and they took the time to explain how everything worked, that they make their donuts right in front of you and when I was overwhelmed by the number of choices, they recommended their two most popular ones right away: maple, bacon, and bacon in the sun. The donuts were really good and I am not normally a sweets person! I'll be stopping back in. This was a cool spot kind of reminds me of voodoo donuts in Portland, Oregon if you've heard of that: custom interesting donuts and a cool vibe.

Everybody's been telling me that I need to try this place. I've been here almost a year. I don't know why it took me so long to try duck donuts may because I knew that they were gonna be good. Greeted right away with a Good morning welcome to Duck Donuts. The team member asked me have I ever been to a duck donuts? I informed him that I had not. He took the time to explain to me how their donuts are made in the process of how they do their donuts. Such a big selection I didn't know where to begin, so I order two dozen of just random donuts . The best part is watching them make all of your donuts right in front of you. After bringing them home, they taste as amazing as they look. If not even better. I think I'm hooked. I think I have a new donut home. I cannot wait to go back. I really want to try their frappe. It looked so good and of course has more varieties of donut said I need to try could you could try them all in one day. Even though donut Sundays look and sound good now I know if I want an ice cream fix I might just have to try them as well. If you haven't been, I highly recommend and please don't take as long as I did to go and try them because they are definitely worth it. Unless you're afraid of getting hooked on them.

I am glad I remembered to stop by at Duck Donut today, as they are making special donuts to celebrate Philippine Independence Day. And just for today in the Chesapeake & Norfork locations only they are making special Ube & Buko Pandan donuts (Wed -6/12/24). They are making them all day. I rushed in early this morning, and soon as I walked in the door you just get that fresh smell if cooked donuts and sweet smell of toppings. I only focused on the special donuts today, and I have to say they are tasty. I tried both, but I'm just an "Ube" kinda girl. Lol If you have a chance stop by and give them a try. I always believe in trying something new once. And happy I did!

This will always be our go-to donut place whenever we're back in the 757. And honestly, probably our favorite donut spot ever until another pops up. YES, they ARE pricey but I definitely think it's worth it. Their donuts are like little cakes in donut form. They're moist and delicious, and they have endless flavors to choose from. The staff was friendly and they worked fast despite the long line. The space itself was mehh. Nothing too fancy about it, just basic. I do like how they have the history of the franchise displayed on the walls. Overall, come here. You won't be disappointed.

I'm still very impressed with this location. It is the only one that offers off menu options such as Ube and Padan glaze. The store itself is always very clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful in making selections. They host special events for the community. They also cater weddings and parties.

Literally, some of the best donuts I've had. The donuts come out, fresh, and hot, and they make them right in front of me. There are several different flavors that you could choose from. I was literally in heaven. They also have several different other items on their menu, like milkshakes, or donut cakes, you name it. The Young girl, working behind the counter was very sweet as well. Everything inside the store was very clean, and made me feel At ease. Bathrooms are clean as well! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some delicious donuts anytime of the day.

This place was awesome! I highly recommend going there if you are in the area. Super friendly and nice staff. And the best donuts I've ever had.

these delectable donuts are a flavor explosion for your taste buds. The perfect blend of various flavors makes each bite a delightful experience. Whether you crave classic tastes or adventurous combinations, this place has something to satisfy every donut enthusiast's palate. Highly recommend!

always made fresh to order. Plenty of choices, probably the hardest part of getting these donuts, what to pick. Whatever you get, you can't go wrong. If you love cake donuts this is your places to go. They offer donuts sandwiches for breakfast (eggs bacon cheese) coffee, milks, and donut ice cream sandwiches. Literally could eat here everyday ! Clean restaurant. Great customer service. If you've never been here, you're missing a piece of heaven in your life.

It's been about 5 years since I've been here. This was mostly an impulse visit since I was getting take out next door. It was late afternoon on a Friday, I decided to get 6 donuts and bring them home for my guys....(and maybe 1 for myself). wink wink. What really did it for me was their fall menu..OMG...pumpkin coffee cake, blueberry crumble, and more!! They were super friendly and the donuts...delicious!!

What a fun find. We were driving around the area just to see things and were intrigued by the cute name. Well the decor and donuts did not disappoint! We were met with a smile and given some excellent recommendations by a very friendly worker. We got a glazed, cinnamon sugar, maple bacon, apple pie, French silk pie and chocolate covered strawberry...how do you pick a favorite?! If you're nearby it's definitely worth the stop.

Hot, fresh, customizable donuts. What could be better? You can choose from dozens of options, or you can create your own from scratch. The donuts are prepared right in front of you, and they are served piping hot. I'm always a sucker for a sweet and savory combination, so I'd recommend the Maple Bacon. My husband also enjoyed the strawberry and vanilla donuts. We will be back the next time we're in town!

The line was long, but after the first bite, it was easy to understand why. We tried the Cinnamon Sugar and the Blueberry doughnuts. The doughnuts were generously sized, making them perfect for sharing. We paired them with our Pinup Coffees and enjoyed them inside the brewery's air-conditioned taproom--a welcome escape from the summer heat. One of the fun things about Klassic Doughnuts is that their wagon is always on the move, popping up at different locations throughout the area. I opted to try one of their seasonal lattes - the Mounds Bar latte with almond milk, mocha and coconut cold foam. It took only a few minutes for my order to be prepared. I did find the drink to be slightly sweet for my taste and would ask for half sweet on my next visit. For the lactose intolerant, they have almond and oat milk options. Everything I've had here is delicious, but here are some of my favorites: UBE BLONDIES *** Probably one of their most signature items that stays on the menu season to season, this crumbly, satisfyingly dense, soft baked good with that nice punch of ube flavor will really have you coming back for more. The frosting glaze is just perfect, adding that sweetness that carries the ube flavor really nicely. The texture is just soooo satisfying, you can just tell when you cut your fork through it that it has this airy, yet dense and crumbly texture. TURON FRITTER Kind of like an apple fritter, but oh so crumbly, delicious, bright, and soft on the inside. Also had their brown sugar boba pudding cup when it came out, and it was really good; the tapioca actually blended quite nicely and was chewy and fresh, which means you're not stuck chewing it forever. Definitely on the sweeter side, but brown sugar items tend to be that way.

Next time must try their lavender latte or pistachio... but gotta get it before 5/31 as it's available for a limited time! Definitely recommend the brekki bowl with cheese grits and fried chicken! You will not be disappointed. Cheese grits like "buhhhttah" without the oily and maybe the calories?! But honestly, so flavorful and creamy without the guilty feeling for having something that tastes so good. The veggies are fresh and perfectly cooked to give you great texture contrast. And let me tell you about their fried chicken!! Chefs kiss! Moist, flavorful lightly breaded chicken fried to perfection that had a slight kick for this girl. In full disclosure black pepper is spicy for me so take that with a grain of salt. And for those of you like me that believe there is never too much salt and add salt to your salt but need to cut that bad habit... this whole dish is the perfect amount of salt. There is a direct indoor passage from La Taqueria Hacienda to MRTL, my youngest and I went to take a peek while we waited for our takeout order. It's a small store but lots of great stuff packed into it. At the front, there are some freezers and fridges with frozen treats (paletas, mangonadas etc) and other prepared goods from local businesses like flan and tres leches from Jessy's. The first front aisle is dedicated to a showcase of Mexican baked goods also brought in from local bakeries. The next few aisles are filled with grocery store items. I love seeing the products that familiar brands release in other markets. Will have to go back for the Palmolive fruity bar soap. It smelled so good ! All the way back, is the butcher with all sorts of meats, both plain and marinated. After we did a once over to see what the store offers, I couldn't help myself with the baked goods. I see/hear about baked goods and it's a trigger word (a good trigger). My eyes start to glaze over and I start making my way over LOL. I stopped a staff member and I asked her about all the goods. I wish she could truly understand the level of my enthusiasm and curiosity and I think she did the best she could to describe all the items, but I made do with what she shared and I just went with what looked good. She said that the case under the La Sabrosita had been delivered that day, so she didn't need to tell me twice. We got 4 things (these are not the proper names as I have no idea, just descriptions): - sugar donut with custard - classic sugar yeasty donut with custard, except, they don't poke a hole and fill it, they slice it in half and slather the custard. I loved this one. - puff pastry with cream inside and then a thin layer of icing type coating on top, and then rolled back in the puff pastry crumbs? These type of pastries tend to be on the dry side. It was pretty straight forward and it was pretty big. - cake/bread with sesame seeds - this reminds me of a homemade pound cake (not store bought) or madeleine type texture, not cake and not bread, in the middle. The size is pretty large (picture those jumbo muffins at Costco that you have to buy two packs) and it's topped with sesame seeds. Great morning item. I loved this one too. - Cinnamon cake - there was a thin layer of a cinnamon mixture at the bottom, majority of the cake/bread and then the top had a crack-ly crust, piped with what looked like a cinnamon stick, but it's actually another edible cake thing. Check them out!
