This donut is at least two days old

I stopped at Battlefield to grab donuts for the team this morning.....and they are STALE! Not just that they weren't hot, but actually dried and crumbled inside!! These look like returns from a gas station or something. For the first time, I'm taking these back today for a refund. There are 10 and a half left. The first one was so bad, nobody will take one. How embarrassing and disgusting. I've been eating KK since the 70s and NEVER had a dozen of throw-aways handed to me through the drive thru with a smile.

I went through the drive thru and ordered the valentine dough-notes for a special event for my kids. My bad for not checking before I pulled off. I paid for the full dozen of heart doughnuts but was given these with 4 original glazed in place of the others. I would not have minded if they had told me that was the last of the hearts and charged me accordingly. Unfortunately, they didn't.

Krispy Kreme has a great assortment of doughnuts to choose from. Today we tried the cinnamon roll- it was great! The staff that works the drive thru is always friendly and attentive. Clean store with awesome doughnuts, coffees, and apparel!

Half dozen with new biscoff donuts

I came by here because the re-released the biscoff lineup. My wife and I both love anything that has to do with cookie butter. They have 3 new cookie butter donuts, a basic ring with cookie butter icing, a chocolate iced ring with cookie butter frosting piped on and cookie butter cookies crushed up, and lastly a cookie butter filled donut with cookie butter icing and crushed up biscoff cookies. I went through the drive thru and was greeted promptly. The worker was friendly and patient with my order. My one issue is that there was not a lot of filling in either of my filled donuts, mainly the raspberry filled.

I ordered a dozen donuts. Half were original glazed and the other half chocolate ice glazed with sprinkles. My donuts were hot and fresh. The line moved quickly. My only problem was that the ice cream machine was down so I could not get order a milkshake.

I love having a Krispy Kreme near me! There's nothing better than their hot and ready original glazed donuts but I also look forward to seeing the speciality flavors that they have each month. Additionally, this particular location does a great job of being stocked with everyone's favorite donuts like custard filled, sprinkled, jelly filled and more! Plus, the prices are low for the quality of donut you receive. Lastly, I recommend that you look into getting the app for even more deals and rewards.

A glazed over roach on my donut!

Disgusting! I would give zero star if I could! I went thru the drive thru this morning, got home and found a glazed roach on my donut . I mean, who would grab that, put it in the box and hand it to a customer? Who? I sure did go back, all them for a refund, and all they did was give me a new dozen. They got thrown away. I will NEVER grab donuts from here again.

$14.63 for six donuts, a bit expensive in my opinion for donuts from Krispy Kreme. The few times I have visited witnessed trash laying around in the parking lot. As you watch them make donuts you realize how many are defects and get thrown away, multiple dozens while standing there. Never experienced this before, seems like it may be time for some repairs on their machinery.

Which is nothing new, but it moves pretty quickly. I'm a talker so I'll always find someone to talk to while waiting to make the time go by faster. Their flavor schedule changes, so follow them on Facebook. This week they had cinnamon sugar, klassic glazed, and strawberry. I got glazed and strawberry. I got a dozen last time and realized the texture changes after the first day. You can pop them in the microwave, but it'll never be the same as the fresh ones because they thicken up. So I highly recommend eating some before you even get out of the parking lot to get the best melt in your mouth experience!! The glazed is one of my favorite. It's a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It sincerely melts in your mouth. They're also pretty big, and while waiting you can see them making the donuts, with the glaze dripping off. It's exciting to get to the front after waiting in line. The strawberry one was good, but not better than the original glazed. I can't wait to try the lemon one. The staff is always friendly and they keep the line moving!! You can also preorder to skip the line. If you see them, I absolutely recommend stopping to try at least 1. You won't regret it. Lol. Check them out!!!

There is lots of seating - bars and high tops - and it's a great spot for a morning gathering. There was a meeting in the upstairs loft happening during my visit. The barista who assisted me was working solo. She was super friendly and happy to answer my questions. I was glad to hear they offer decaf espresso. I opted to try one of their seasonal lattes - the Mounds Bar latte with almond milk, mocha and coconut cold foam. It took only a few minutes for my order to be prepared. I did find the drink to be slightly sweet for my taste and would ask for half sweet on my next visit. For the lactose intolerant, they have almond and oat milk options. They also have several pastries and some hot food options to choose from like overnight oats and breakfast burritos from Burrito Perdido. I was really pleased with my recent visit and I'll be happy to come back soon!

Everything I've had here is delicious, but here are some of my favorites: UBE BLONDIES *** Probably one of their most signature items that stays on the menu season to season, this crumbly, satisfyingly dense, soft baked good with that nice punch of ube flavor will really have you coming back for more. The frosting glaze is just perfect, adding that sweetness that carries the ube flavor really nicely. The texture is just soooo satisfying, you can just tell when you cut your fork through it that it has this airy, yet dense and crumbly texture. TURON FRITTER Kind of like an apple fritter, but oh so crumbly, delicious, bright, and soft on the inside. Also had their brown sugar boba pudding cup when it came out, and it was really good; the tapioca actually blended quite nicely and was chewy and fresh, which means you're not stuck chewing it forever. Definitely on the sweeter side, but brown sugar items tend to be that way.

Needless to say the food was so good, pics proved to have zero chance. Sooo after a rough week, a Saturday late morning breakfast was calling for a much needed downtime to sit and enjoy... and well here we go: Some say happiness in a bottle, I say Happiness in a glass! Their iced praline mocha is soooo good! The right balance of mocha and coffee, not overly sweet but enough to give you a pick me up while enjoying their amazing food! Next time must try their lavender latte or pistachio... but gotta get it before 5/31 as it's available for a limited time! Definitely recommend the brekki bowl with cheese grits and fried chicken! You will not be disappointed. Cheese grits like "buhhhttah" without the oily and maybe the calories?! But honestly, so flavorful and creamy without the guilty feeling for having something that tastes so good. The veggies are fresh and perfectly cooked to give you great texture contrast. And let me tell you about their fried chicken!! Chefs kiss! Moist, flavorful lightly breaded chicken fried to perfection that had a slight kick for this girl. In full disclosure black pepper is spicy for me so take that with a grain of salt. And for those of you like me that believe there is never too much salt and add salt to your salt but need to cut that bad habit... this whole dish is the perfect amount of salt. I literally never had to add just a little more. The goat cheese crumbles gave each bite the little extra tah-dah pop that might have been otherwise gotten had you like me added a few more shakes of salt to the dish. Seriously though, if you are watching to slowly cut back on having to add salt to your food, this dish is for you! The service was great and everyone was friendly and hustling! This place is the best for a quick sit down or a group brunch. I saw a table of like 10 menly bros enjoying a huge selection of food, drinks, and catching up. Really awesome to see that as the next few tables were a mix of families with and without kids, in laws, aunts and uncles just coming together for amazing food, great and accurate service, and overall fantastic experience ina random Saturday morning!

There is a direct indoor passage from La Taqueria Hacienda to MRTL, my youngest and I went to take a peek while we waited for our takeout order. It's a small store but lots of great stuff packed into it. At the front, there are some freezers and fridges with frozen treats (paletas, mangonadas etc) and other prepared goods from local businesses like flan and tres leches from Jessy's. The first front aisle is dedicated to a showcase of Mexican baked goods also brought in from local bakeries. The next few aisles are filled with grocery store items. I love seeing the products that familiar brands release in other markets. Will have to go back for the Palmolive fruity bar soap. It smelled so good ! All the way back, is the butcher with all sorts of meats, both plain and marinated. After we did a once over to see what the store offers, I couldn't help myself with the baked goods. I see/hear about baked goods and it's a trigger word (a good trigger). My eyes start to glaze over and I start making my way over LOL. I stopped a staff member and I asked her about all the goods. I wish she could truly understand the level of my enthusiasm and curiosity and I think she did the best she could to describe all the items, but I made do with what she shared and I just went with what looked good. She said that the case under the La Sabrosita had been delivered that day, so she didn't need to tell me twice. We got 4 things (these are not the proper names as I have no idea, just descriptions): - sugar donut with custard - classic sugar yeasty donut with custard, except, they don't poke a hole and fill it, they slice it in half and slather the custard. I loved this one. - puff pastry with cream inside and then a thin layer of icing type coating on top, and then rolled back in the puff pastry crumbs? These type of pastries tend to be on the dry side. It was pretty straight forward and it was pretty big. - cake/bread with sesame seeds - this reminds me of a homemade pound cake (not store bought) or madeleine type texture, not cake and not bread, in the middle. The size is pretty large (picture those jumbo muffins at Costco that you have to buy two packs) and it's topped with sesame seeds. Great morning item. I loved this one too. - Cinnamon cake - there was a thin layer of a cinnamon mixture at the bottom, majority of the cake/bread and then the top had a crack-ly crust, piped with what looked like a cinnamon stick, but it's actually another edible cake thing. On the drier side, but more meant to be another morning item with coffee or tea. My youngest loved this one with her milk. The items were not small either. The best part of all this, was when I went to pay, I was floored at the final total. I thought she had made a mistake. It was SOOOOO cheap! It was $8 and some change. The girl chuckled at my disbelief and she said the price had gone up. Well, don't mind if I do. I'll definitely be back and check out their meats back there too.
