I LOVE these donuts and the staff are always super friendly, but the last time I was in there, my daughter asked for a cup of water and was told "we're not allowed to give out cups of water". My daughter was craving donuts but I didn't want to hit one of the big chains. Found Ducks on Yelp as they recently opened in Chesterfield (located conveniently next to Trader Joe's). I got an assortment of 6 donuts that I handpicked from pictures. Excellent service, great experience and best of all...freshly made donuts. Each donut was carefully finished and tasted great. This place is a 9/10. It's very good but a girl in the back stuck her hand up the coconut flakes and it made me uncomfortable when I just trying to watch my doughnuts being made. It tasted good but the workers need to wear hair nets because the worker hairs where flying everywhere and I was scared that the hair was going to be hidden in my doughnut. We stumbled on Duck Donuts (though I'd heard of them) on a way to. Dr. Appointment. I've always been leery of cake donuts because they are always dry and tasteless but I thought my son would like designing his own so we ordered three. There are lots of predesigned ideas that you can choose from or you can make whatever you want. We got two predesigned and one make your own. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Most importantly after the donuts were made fresh right in front of us - they were amazing. Very moist and flavorful. The maple bacon was the best! The coffee was good too. All in all a wonderful treat for kids with quality that appeals to adults! read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I came to the store to pickup my online order (2 dozen donuts for my office) and stood at the pickup area for almost 15 minutes without a single employee acknowledging me. In the meantime, they're calling order numbers left and right and continuing to ignore me standing right in front of them. It took another customer who was grabbing his order to let them know that I look to have an online order and have been standing there for quite a while with no service. After FINALLY getting my order there was no apology or acknowledgement of their lack of service. Instead, one of the employees said to her coworker in front of me "well I'm glad he said something". Why should another customer have to tell employees to acknowledge one of their customers? I decided to call and let the manager know how this made me feel as a customer and her excuse was that it is National Donut Day, but she appreciates my feedback. Unacceptable. I will not be returning to this establishment and will be sure to let my coworkers know what horrible service I experienced here. Very unfortunate. read more

Great donuts, no doubt! Only complaint is that there is virtually no seating and I only saw one high chair. Plan on standing or taking To Go if you have a family. We'll probably not go often as its not conducive if you have a family larger than 3. But, the donuts are pretty much to die for!!! read more

Wow!! I am not a donut fan at all. However, a few friends raved about this place and dragged me along. Never have I been so happy to eat donuts in my life. They were warm, delicious, as fresh as you can get, and made exactly to order. It's wonderful not having to pick from a pre-made line up. Instead I get to have exactly what I want every time because they don't make the donut until you order it! I reccomend this place to everyone I know and even my students. I am beyond happy we finally got a Duck Donuts in STL! I've now been 3 times to enjoy their cakey, scrumptious donuts. Every time it's been the same wonderful experience.
