Well this was a delight. There was a large variety of delicious sounding donuts. We looked through the regular doughnuts, and the seasonal doughnuts and got two seasonal doughnuts - one apple one chocolate. We used the kiosk to order. I found the shape of the store a little awkward, It's hard to see the menu and the counter is inset so if there are mulitple groups you kind of get in each others way. So the kiosk was welcome. We were thrilled that they come out nice and warm! The apple compote was soo good. The chocolate was nice. the doughnuts were soft and lovely. Enjoyed the cute ducks decor and for sale. The Bathroom was clean. I DO wish the utensils were in cups that didn't nearly force you to touch the eating end of them to get them out - because utensils are a must. A Great place for a quick treat - but you might be more comfortable taking it home - where you can use your own utensils! Also there is not a lot of seating. The good: freshly made, still hot/warm donut with many flavors on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Despite them being overly sweet as all donuts are, they are worth the occasional splurge. The bad: wait can be long at peak times. Kiosk orders don't include seasonal flavors (only basics), but it is a time saver. The ugly: poor girl working the shift was stuck at the counter ON HER OWN handling 15-20 tickets. Where is management?? You know it is peak time, why not get another pair of hands on deck?? HUGEEE kudos to Maria (aka the poor girl, everyone there felt it). She grinds it with speed and accuracy, yet still manages to wear a smile as she hands over the orders, even apologizes for the wait. (Seriously, the one time I don't regret tipping counter service. She better gets all of the tips that day.) If she hasn't quit yet being stuck with such horrible shifts, this girl definitely deserves a raise. (The half hour we were there, I would have recognized the owners seeing their videos on repeat. Actually the best donut my husband and I have ever had. We were saying it's actually better than everglazed, paynes killer donuts, holy donut.. really all the amazing spots we could think of, this one beats them. The staff was sooo nice too. Duck doughnuts is a franchise chain. But there are not many. I *think* this may be their only Massachusetts location. All the donuts start as a basic cake donut and are decorated to order. So the good news is that they never run out of your favorite flavor. The bad news is that you have to wait for your doughnuts to be decorated. In the end - they were all delicious. Mainly takeout but a few small tables You choose the donut you want "designed" the choices are endless; choose from their many options from pictures or create your own. Place your order and watch the magic happen. You watch as they drop the batter into the hot fryer. As soon as it comes out it goes to the person who does the decorating. Omg why didn't I know about this little hidden Gem in Walpole? We tried this Duck Donuts for the first time and it was delicious. I got the maple drizzled Bacon galore donut. Now first let me tell you I Don't Eat Donuts, but my granddaughter wanted to try a peanut butter and fluff drizzle so she got me the bacon donut to surprise me and it was to die for. We took them to go and the bacon, so much Bacon made me want to taste it. (Sorry no pictures it was gobbled up). I'm so happy it's in Walpole, because that way I won't be tempted to make it a habit. I even thought the peanut butter & fluff was interesting, not my cup of tea though. If ever we get back for another one I promise to take a picture! There is a lot to love about this place. The donuts are amazing and it's a fun store with the ducks and the kiosk. I've always been a fan. But after today, I really fell in love with this business. I took my 4 year old son in to get a donut. He's loves getting a donut on the weekends. We grabbed our box when it was ready and my son picked it up. We were going 5 ft to the table and in that time he dropped the box and started balling his eyes out. I felt like a dummy for letting him hold it. I grabbed some napkins and started cleaning up. Meanwhile he is in tears and I'm trying to reassure him that I'll buy him another. Because again, I'm the dummy who let a 4 year old carry a box of donuts. During this, one of the staff came over and was talking to him saying it would be okay and that she would make more donuts. I didn't expect that. I was super greatful for them. I think my son was too upset to realize how nice of a gesture that was. She came back with the new box and a small ice cream. I was really taken back at how kind this person was. I wish I got her name because she deserves the recognition. But I have a strong feeling that most of the people there share her attitude. So apparently I'm missing out because I ordered these through Uber eats and didn't go In person to order them. I hear they taste better after being freshly made since they are "made to order". I WISH i would've known that! Haha. So this review is strictly just a delivery review. The donuts were good! Just good! Very cake like. Not the texture I was expecting, I'm going to be honest. The base of the donut is comparable to an old fashioned donut at dunks. The toppings are really what make the donut but even then, some toppings weren't as flavorful as others. Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with super sweet frosting from dunks, but the frosting on some of these just didn't do it for me. Like their strawberry confetti donut, essentially this is a strawberry frosted donut with sprinkles. Did it beat dunks strawberry frosted for me? Hell no. But their maple bacon donut? Amazing!! So flavorful!! They were all good but only 2 of the 6 were a 10/10 for me. The rest were 8s and 7s. For the price, I wouldn't buy again if I'm being honest. Maybe if I took the drive and tried one warm and fresh, I'd think differently. I might be willing to drive there to try that maple bacon one fresh. Hmmmmm. read more

So I went in for the first time last Thursday. Let me start with how great the chocolate milkshake was. Top notch and $6.50. The young man who waited on me was very helpful, pleasant and patient as the menu was a bit confusing. There are 4 quadrants on the menu. Some you can buy by the piece and some by the 1/2 dozen. Be prepared they are expensive. I bought 2 1/2 dozen doughnuts and the milkshake and the bill was $32+ They say the doughnuts are made to order but the glazes and toppings are made to order. I asked the owner how long the doughnuts would last and he told me "2 days". Today was the second day and they started to taste a little stale. There are a few tables and chairs like a fast food type place if you want to sit for a donut and drink.
