The hush puppies were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and all around tasty. The jambalaya was hearty and well seasoned. I don't think I have ever had one with as much shrimp, sausage and chicken either. Again, it was well worth the price. One of my friends, who also went with the combo, got the house salad as an appetizer and it was big enough to be a meal in itself. In fact, everyone was impressed with the size of their meals. We were equally impressed with the quality and flavor. My youngest son is notoriously picky, and even he loved the food. Our server was as sweet as she could be. She actually didn't know we were there to celebrate a birthday, so I can only assume that she's always that nice.
