Fantastic crawfish place, maybe my new favorite. The live crawfish was pretty sizable and was cooked to perfection make them not too hard to peel at all. At the time we went they had a 4lb crawfish with three free sides (including premium sides) and also they were throwing in a crab cluster or lobster. Tremendous deal with ample amount of food, the garlic noodle was unlimited if you get that as a side. The crawfish seasoning is great, there's a spicy level for everyone. Overall great establishment and decently priced.

Met friends for lunch. It had just opened. Three of the 4 including myself got the boil bag lunch special . It includes 2 items in the boil totaling 1 pound plus a side and drink. We thought it was a pound of each item, but realized we were wrong once we got our food. We all agreed that this is not the place to go for boiled crawfish. They were very small, overcooked and tasted like they were frozen. The boiled shrimp and garlic noodles good, however. Good seasoning. I went with mild which was perfect for me. I had my noodles placed in the bag, which was an option. That was my side. A friend got the fried shrimp basket. She loved it. We shared the funnel cake fries for dessert because why not? They were soooo good. We went without the sugar and chocolate syrup toppings. The staff was pleasant, the aesthetics were nice. The price was reasonable. I will definitely return.

I don't know you all. All the servers were running around with their heads cut off as if it was everyone's first day. We ordered a chicken sandwich, shrimp basket, and a boil, 1/2 lb of shrimp head on. No one had any complaints about the food, just the service. We may have to go on a different day.

I love the service at this spot and how easy it is to order. The food can take a while but it's worth the wait. There's enough to look at to keep you occupied and the tables are spacious. Staff are attentive and there are plenty of seasoning options. One of my favorite spots!

Service is 10/10 and everything is so yummy. The Adult caprisons are so creative and so many flavors. This is my favorite seafood boil place!

Had a wonderful experience! The Capt Loui sauce and Medium spice is absolutely delish. We want to come back to try the shrimp. Very clean restaurant. Forgot to take a picture of the oysters but they were great as well. Can't wait to come back for $1 oyster Tuesday! Our server was very attentive and she helped guide us through the menu with any questions we had.

    Soft bread and dry noodles

Let's start with the pros- our waitress was good minus having to ask for refills. She was quick when asked. She explained the menu and sauces. Place is clean, but parking on Saturday night was a bit rough just because it was busy, even at 9:15 at night. Cons- I am from the coast so cooking seafood is something that not everyone can nail. The medium heat and Loui sauce was good. Different. Had a hint of sweet, Cajun heat. Now onto to the seafood itself. The crab was severely over cooked. When you cook snow crab it was shrivel the meat up and dry it out inside the legs, claws etc. in pictures you will see. I have never been to a finer restaurant that doesn't wash their crawfish. We get crawfish almost weekly during season. You can get fresh live as field run, washed and graded etc. they were decent in size, but they were filthy and tasted like mud with buttery Cajun to cover it. Again pictures to show. The sausage is like a cheap eckridge sausage that's been sliced and over cooked making the outside chewy/ rubber like casing. The ez peel shrimp no head were over cooked. Again when you over cook it actually clings to the shell making it impossible to slip tail and shell off. It too had zero favor until you got the shell off and dipped into the sauce. Pricing. I get crawfish shipped to Abilene, TX EVERY Friday and I pay $4 per pound for washed and graded. For them to charge $15.42 a pound for smaller and dirty was crazy. For 2 cluster of crab $42 was insane. We did a 4lb and three side. We choose the noodles, garlic toast and sausage as the sides. Bread lacked crunch. Wasn't done enough. The all you can eat noodles were super dry. There was no actual plates or dishes to eat in front of you. Paper boats that after ten minutes of buttery started to fold. Now if you read the door it says closes at 11. Kitchen 30 minutes prior. By 10 we were done fighting shrimp and ripping them apart because they were over cooked. I asked to for the funnel cake fries. Kitchen was closed. Felt really weird having them put chairs up on tables all around us, almost forcing us out. All in all I am a seafood lover and critic so I am much more picky then typical person that never eats it. 1-2 stars out of 5. Yes we did mention it was over cooked and never offered to recook.

Ready to dig in! 4 pound boil bag with crawfish, sausage, corn, potatoes, boiled eggs, and full lobster.

Had the opportunity to visit Cap't Loui Carrollton and we were not disappointed. Definitely a hidden treasure we were visiting for the first time. Started off with oysters and they were delicious. Then proceeded with their 4 pound boil bags. My wife had easy peel shrimp, snow crab, crawfish, boiled eggs, corn, potatoes and garlic noodles. I had crawfish, sausage, boiled eggs, corn, potatoes and garlic noodles. With the four pound bag we both got a full lobster as well. We opted for the Cap't Loui seasoning and selected hot. I've always had issues finding crawfish seasoned hot enough for my liking. This place nailed it, may even go one more level hotter next time. The crawfish were pretty large and seasoned perfectly, probably the best I have had in the DFW area. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of food we received in our boil bag. When I ordered sausage and eggs as a side, I expected one or two pieces, but received more than that. The service was excellent, the quality was outstanding, and the quantity was much more than I expected. Simmy was our server and she did a great job assisting us in all our needs. My wife enjoyed her Margaritas. We also had the pleasure to speak with Hanna the owner and she was very sweet. I love supporting family owned and operated restaurants and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for making our dining experience special.

Shrimp Head On 1LB and sausages plus eggs

We had an awesome dinner experience! As we shared with the owner, her staff--Zoe and Juna--truly set the atmosphere for us as first-time guests. They were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food did not disappoint! We enjoyed fun cocktails and ordered two boil bags loaded with shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, and crab legs with Capt. Loui sauce--one medium heat and the other extra hot. Both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We also had the Shrimp Po' Boy with Cajun fries, a side of garlic noodles, and garlic toast--everything was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back

This place was recommended to me by my friend. It did not disappoint. Ww did the shrimp, clams, muscles corn and sausage. Side of noodles. The flavors was pretty good. Next time, i I will skip the clams. The shell was too big and heavy. I feel we just wasted money for the shell weight. Food was good and the service was also good. Will come back.

Stopped by as a party of two on Sunday night, were sat sat right away. Music playing. Clean bathrooms for the most part except no soap in the ladies restroom. They do have a sink outside In the main restaurant for saucy hands though. The prices on the wall did not match the QR code link, but the waitress said just to go off the wall prices in restaurant. The garlic noodles were delicious! Sweet potato fries I wish were a little crispier but they weren't bad. They bring out gloves, bib and little disposable plates. Came by frequently to check on us. And our bill was less than we expected! We got crawfish and shrimp and clams with capt Louie seasoning and medium spice. It was really good! We would come back for the garlic noodles and shrimp/clams boil.

Today we were crazing a seafood boil while in Texas. So we headed out and found Capt Loui. And we were very happy we found Capt loui. Excellent service by Timmy and jun and great food!! The fresh crawfish, snow crab, and Snowcrab!! The sauce was excellent!! We can't recommend this place enough! Don't walk but run!!!

Shrimp poboy was delicious! Real hand battered shrimp! The Cajun fries are delicious too!

Great hidden gem in strip center! Fresh seafood and delicious sides. Can't wait to come back during crawfish season!

Waited an hour for food. It was only 4 of us. An additional 10-15 minutes for our fries. Food felt and tasted rushed.

    Is it BYOB?

Hello! No, we sell alcohol! We have soju, draft beer, bottled beer, and various spirits also. =)

Do they have beer and wine?

They do have some alcoholic beverages. I have purchased a margarita from there before but I am not sure about beer and wine is sold there.

Finally a place that does jjamjjamyun (Half & Half of jjamppon and jjajangmyun) well! Super happy…read morethat I get to get my fix of both noodles in one dish. Bonus points that you get to choose the spice level so you can actually make it spicier than buldak spice level! I love that you can make the black bean noodle kinda spicy too because i normally get tired of just the black bean sauce flavor. We chose the level 1 for the jjamppong because it said it was like Shin ramen level of spice and the employee let us add some spice to the jjajangmyun as well which was nice Flavor of the spicy seafood broth and the black bean sauce were both pretty good. I liked the texture of the noodles as well. I think the spice level was a little off thought since I think shin ramen may be a little spicier. We could probably get level 2 next time. The tangsuyuk was decent. It was similar batter to Mr. Paik's 0410 noodle shop. I wished they had put more vegetables in the sauce though like carrots and cabbage. Overall, id definitely return at least for the jjamjjamyun!

Self service spot, I came here looking for a place to compare to Paik's for their Jajangmyeon. They…read morehave utensils and barely tea for free, and a return tray stack in the corner. I got the half half of jjamppong and Jajangmyeon and wow, the jamppong broth is great. Although I think the spice level is inconsistent since I got regular spice but it was very spicy. My boyfriend's broth seemed less red than mine even though we ordered the exact same thing. The noodles looked very fresh and bouncy than the ones I'm used to. Jjamppong was very flavorful with plenty of seafood in every bite, great presentation too. The Jajangmyeon had nice big chunks of meat (although not many), but the flavor profile of the sauce was on the sweeter side. Maybe it was done intentionally to balance the saltiness of the jjamppong but I felt it would've been easier to eat if it was more savory. For that, I would 100% return for the jjamppong alone but maybe keep my business with Paik as my go-to Jajangmyeon spot. The flavor profile not being more my preference is not their fault and might be up somebody else's alley, so I'll still give them 5 stars for the quality, affordability, and taste. This easily filled me up for under $20.
